While adventurers crawl the Dungeon, the gods and goddesses of Orario are always working hard behind the scenes for their beloved children! The deities who remain on the surface might not brave the labyrinth's depths, but they're just as busy--all of them occupied with duties like managing their familia's business, striking deals, gathering information, or going shopping, stuffing their faces, lounging about not doing much of anythi--adventures! So many adventures! Who can really say what happens in the sometimes precious, occasionally chaotic day-to-day lives of this charming pantheon?
Days of Goddess is rated Older Teen though short of some lewd jokes and violence (like Loki giving Aiz's status update after groping her from behind and promptly getting pummeled for the effort) but being more cartoony then the original series it is not so bad.
This series is basically the life of the gods and goddesses while their familia are either off on adventures or when they hang out but it is more or less from the perspective of the deity and it is goofier then the original series as it settles for a comedic 4 panel comic like seen from Azumanga Daioh and others. In particular following Hestia as she takes her cart around to sell Jyaga Maru when she can. The book still follows basic details of the story though like Lilly stealing Bell's knife but being not serious the mangaka can change how encounters occur without fear of affecting the main story. Go ahead and pick up this book if you enjoy the series or just 4 panel comics. I liked the comic description on the side of the panels too. :)
My favorite part was going to be Loki donning a bunny suit with disterous results but by time I got later in the book I found a comic where Hestia shows her skill in potato carving and gets Aiz as a disciple instead of her teaching Bell (don't worry, he still has Mintoru-kun to train with.) :)
