This book chronicles all four of the Beatle members solo album releases, on Apple Records; which was functional up to 1975 (It's a big book). The book is really only for collectors, as it focuses only on the vinyl releases, and all the different options for each album came out on vinyl, including promotional discs. Unfortunately, this was of no use to me, and I wish they had the updated bonus songs that have since come out on newer compact disc reissues.

Regardless, the author did describe what each and every song was about, and give his opinions on each song for every album. This was the interesting part for me. To learn some new stuff about each song on each of the of the albums, as well as the singles. Also, it was very helpful in pointing out uncredited musicians, on some albums. Whereas some of the CD releases do not mention some artists. This was very detailed in this book, and extremely helpful.

So this book had three parts to it as I see it, and two were very interesting to me. So all-in-all I found this to be an informative and enjoyable book, even though it's aimed at the vinyl collector.
