Great Book

This was another exciting Grizzly Cove shifter story. A bear has found his mate in a met shifter. I recommend this book.

Sirena's friend and hunting partner, Grace was attacked and washed ashore in Grizzly Cove. Jetty was also in the clutches of the sea monsters. Jetty was trying to send word to them when an attack happened to her. This thing was strong with vicious teeth and tentacles. Sirena was brought onto a boat and brought to the aide of a doctor. She knew it was touch and go from the get go. She’s not getting any better, despite his best efforts. He calls in magical reinforcements and the best experts he can find to try to help her, but the evil creature still has its hooks in her and it won’t let go without a fight. His friend, Drew just mated with Sirena's friend, Jetty. Crew's mother was a priestess and could help when others couldn't. Will she? Sven was going to try anything to help. He was developing a strong, strange feeling she was his mate.

Sven is a polar bear shifter in Grizzly Cove among all the grizzly bears. He is the town's doctor and is called to help a mermaid named Sirena who was injured by the evil in the cove. He has a need to protect her then he realizes she is his mate. It takes some time for Sirena to heal and she is helped by a Shaman and Priestess to remove the evil leviathan taking her magic. Only then does she also know Sven is her mate and they have their happily ever after.

Great addition to the Grizzly Cove series. Can be read as a standalone. Sexy bear shifter and fierce mermaid...what's not to like? Sven and Sirena have great chemistry and always love to see the progress on the continuing story arc in the series is framed around. As always a great story with lovely characters. Can't wait for the next one.

2.5 stars. Wasn't into this story. I didn't feel the chemistry between the two main characters and there seemed to be a lot of references to the Goddess and her will. Trust me, I'm not against what D'Arc is writing about in regards to the Goddess, but some references seemed ill placed that made me realize it was a lot of references.

I truly enjoyed this book. It seems to bring almost all of the ocean myths to life in a way that makes it seem so logical that you almost wonder if it could be true.

This series is beginning to mature in good and bad ways. The premise of this new town for bear shifters to settle and possibly bring in human females to mate with is good. When the mates began being different types of shifters it added to the intrigue. Prejudice among shifter species was also expected. My concern with the direction of the series is that each book (except this one though) keeps adding another species to the mix. Sirena and Sven are a great couple. While he is the towns healer, he is also a soldier. She being the leader of the Mer hunters actually makes them a great couple. The mating between these two and the new directions the Mer bring to the town bodes well for the continuation of the series.

Polar bears

Sven is the towns doctor and is helping the hurt female mermaid. She's his mate and hurt but she's getting better and they are fighting the evil in the water together for the good .Great book

A continuation of a wonderful shifter series! Sven is a polar bear shifter who is also Grizzly Cove's town doctor. Sirena was injured by a creature at the end of the last book and now we find out more about it as well as get caught up with several couples in the series.
