The dead just don’t seem to stay dead…

A recent grad with a degree in gifted ed, Wynn Ratcliff jumped at the chance to be a young linguistic savant’s private tutor. The job let her stay near her grandmother while she was recovering from her stroke. Unfortunately, the terrific opportunity came with some horrific negatives…namely catching the eye of her employer’s enemies. After her grandmother’s murder, Wynn fled back to the safety of the real world and her life as it was before she met Angel Cordova and his team of terrorist hunters.

She soon discovers the reality she thought she was returning to is gone…or perhaps it never existed.

Former spec ops soldier Angel Cordova has no choice but to retrieve Wynn when he learns she’s being stalked by the enemy his team is fighting. It’s not entirely against her will that he brings her back to the team’s headquarters, but it is under duress. Keeping her safe means steamrolling the life of her dreams. Setting her free means handing her over to their enemies, all wrapped up in a sparkly bow.

It’s a choice no man should ever have to make about the woman he loves…one he knows she will not quietly accept.

"Elaine Levine is a wonderfully fresh and original voice in western romance.
RACHEL AND THE HIRED GUN is full of fast-paced action and powerful emotions. I loved it!"
-- Joan Johnston, New York Times bestselling author of A STRANGER'S GAME

"A pair of appealing, well-matched protagonists (with a bit of a history), a slimy villain, well-drawn secondary characters, and plenty of action make this rough-and-ready Western one that fans are sure to enjoy."
--Library Journal on AUDREY AND THE MAVERICK

"A beautiful romance…keeps the reader hooked from the first page to the last.” -New York Times Bestselling Author Catherine Anderson about LEAH AND THE BOUNTY HUNTER

Though this is the third book of a romance trilogy, the story stands quite well on its own. Elaine Levine gives us a multi-level story about trust and being able to overcome personal fears to achieve a goal. Set in the post-Civil War era, Leah and the Bounty Hunter gives us a window into the rough-and-tumble lives of our settler-forefathers and what they did to succeed against lawlessness and the incredible challenges to settle the old West. An enjoyable read, recommended. --Monica E. Spence, Historical Novels Review on LEAH AND THE BOUNTY HUNTER

ABOUT ELAINE:

Elaine Levine is an agoraphobic who lives in her son’s basement and runs doggie daycare for his pack of hounds. Her mind, however, is irrepressible, and she fills the endless moments of endless days crafting romance fiction from dystopian headlines she reads online. Be warned—her stories are addictive and dangerously appealing to those with similarly twisted minds and hopeful hearts.

There is so much information in this book!!! We're getting close to end of the series and the answers to some major questions are finally coming to light. They're even better and twistier than I ever could have imagined. I'm so excited to see how the end of this crazy journey unfolds.

Hey I am an Elaine Levine fan girl who can't get enough of the Red Team. These books are such a great mix of thrill, suspense and romance. I love each team member and each installment is a inner story and the biggest story going on throughout the series. Must be read in order and for me over and over again. If you haven't already started the series please allow yourself the pleasure of reading this romantic thrilling series.

Connections. Connections. Connections.
Deadly Creed is the book that tied up the majority of the mysteries from previous books with jaw opening answers. Most of the gray pieces of the puzzle are perfectly coming along. The romance between Angel and Wynn is passionate and sweet, they are beautiful together. I can't say much without giving away the bombshells that are going to shatter fellow readers but I was left with a sense of being prepared for the epic war in the next and last installment of the Red Team series. Bring it on!
PS: I love Ace and Val!
PS2: I love Zavi, Casey, Kit, Greer and Lion.
PS3: I love Owen.

Seriously - that was ..........

No no no that cannot stop there, Ms Levine you are so gonna have to write quick I have to know! Ok back just in control, I fell in love with this series some time ago, and this lady author has been a "go to" ever since. The stories are so well crafted, intrigue, humour, hot hot hot scenes, alpha guys brought to their knees by the women who enter their lives. How together they're on this quest to find ........ Angel and Wynne's story fills in a few more blanks, raises more questions, shock discoveries and passion. Gwynne fights the connection but she needs Angel, and the events following them through this book make it a compulsive, cannot put down, must read.

read books 1-4 several years ago and now the series is finished (though there could be a few more novellas to look forward to with any luck.

these are amazingly well written and complex books with each one adding that bit more to the ongoing thread that ties them all together. great romances, good strong characters and talented storytelling

Although not much action in this story. Deadly Creed was still brilliant and had me completely hooked, so much so this story was pretty much unputdownable. Yet it did take me a few chapters to remember what had previously happened as it's been about six months since I last read the rest of this series. But once I'd refreshed my memories of these characters and the story itself. It was easier to get back into and really enjoy, and boy was there plenty to enjoy. With more details revealed about the Omni and its connections to Wynn and her family. The reappearance of Lion and his pride. A shocking revelation from one of the teams parents, and an ending that left me wanting more.
This story really had it all and I would happily recommend it to others.

When you least expect...

Book 11/13 is all about saving someone, something or just plain saving yourself. As this epic series draws to an end, the riveting suspense has not faltered and with her superior writing Elaine Levin does not disappoint.

Elaine Levine never fails to amaze me with her intricate story telling. Just when you think you know where the story is going she sends you down another path. I love how she builds on the characters in each book. Can't Wait for the next book in the series.

Seriously, I couldn't put this book down! I was even 15 min late to work, because I had to read 'just one more page'!

Gwen and Angel's story has its ups and downs and continues the Red Team story flawlessly. Many 'oh my' moments and thank goodness all is well, so far, with the rest of the Team and all involved. I'd love to go into more details, but I don't reveal spoilers.

All I can say is that I'm more than ready for Owen's story and to see how the Omni debacle ends.

Yet another brilliant story in the Red Team Series as the plot thickens as it nears its conclusion. I loved reading Angel's story which continues with the conspiracy unfolding with yet more puzzles and thoughts. I can't wait for the next book. Highly recommend this series.

Elaine Levine - Deadly Creed – (The Red Team Series, Book 8)

TIME EXPIRED: 5th month into their investigation in Wyoming.

While you can read this novel as a stand-alone, you really should read the entire series. Ms. Levine is a master at writing mysteries, puzzles, Black Ops missions that you will be so glad you chose this author for a Military Romance read.

Wow, a lot happened in this episode. If you have been reading from book 1, The Edge of Courage, you know that the Black Ops team is getting closer to finding who and where the leader of the OMNI World Order and taking them down. You also know that this is the next to last book in the series (sad, boo hiss). In the eight (8) stories to-date, so much as been revealed that I often wonder how the author keeps it all straight and so cohesive.
Deadly Creed is Angel Cordova and Wynn Ratcliff’s story. Wynn was hired several books back to tutor the Red Team member Rocco Silas’s linguistic savant son. While Angel was attracted to Wynn he did not move forward with a relationship. Perhaps that is good because since the OMNI were responsible for Wynn’s grandmother’s death, she decided she needed to move away from the Red Team and their terrorist hunting and try to live “normal” again.

She realized quickly that her past ‘normal’ would never return. The OMNI World Order (OWO) believed she had information and they are willing to kill her for it. Wynn must go back to the Red Team’s compound for her safety.

Wynn and Angel continued to fight their attraction to each other, but when they gave in, the HOT WHITE Passion was explosive. But, when this is all over, will Wynn insist on getting away from the Red Team or will she give her heart to Angel?

The hero and heroine have known each other through multiple books. They had both agreed they are attracted to each other but there's been so much other stuff going on with the people who have been trying to kill the hero's adopted family but hasn't succeeded.

The heroine was hired to tutor one of the children and then her grandmother was kidnapped and eventually killed. During this time the heroine couldn't leave the house where she was working because it was too dangerous. However after her grandmothers death things went silent and the heroine was convinced she was now safe and leaves the house.

Only to slowly find out she's being followed and she's slowly getting more and more scared. The hero comes to visit and finds her like this and tells everyone what's going on. He protects her and brings her back to the house where she would be safe.

Once there they finally act on their feelings for each other. They found they really do love each other but the group who's been trying to kill them is back at it again.

I was waiting for this story as I took a liking to both the hero and heroine in the other books. The story plot didn't go even close to what I was thinking it would go. It was different, but felt something was off about the plot but can't put my finger on why. while the story is good, it's not up to the previous standards in my opinion.

This was another book in the series and did answer quite a good amount of questions within it. Can't wait to see where we'll be directed towards next.

OMG! does this series of twists and turns ever end? the suspense and intricate nature of this story are like a vine twisting through the branches of a tree in all directions. Every time you think you have a handle on controlling and understanding its workings, so another stem starts intertwining then goes off in another direction completely. People are dead, then it appears that no they are alive. You think the parents are known only to find that its someone else. True evil is a part of this Omni group and those connected for their own means.
Angel and Wynn have struggled with their feelings for each other, just when it looks like she is safe so events take another turn. Now I am left completely at a loss until the next book is written and released, I feel lost now left hanging by a thread.
Owen has just found out even more bad news and it ended right there, have I ever said before I hate cliff hangers? well I have now. They are only ok if the whole series is already released so I can just keep going on to the next book. I just do not have the words to express just how fantastic this series is and how highly I recommend it.

Guardian Angel

Tremaine Security is searching for a way to end the mysterious, complicated and invasive evil group OWO. The reader faces multiple complications and more detours to our heroes finding their conclusion. This is definitely a series that must be read in order. And this book is well worth it. We have Angel, the gorgeous, steadfast, sexy Alpha male who feels his lifestyle and background makes him unworthy of the woman he loves. The woman he loves, Wynn, was, and is again, the private tutor for the children of the Tremaine base of operations. And she is fearful of the life she must lead with them. But she soon realizes Angel is not what is making her live in this dark world, it's her own history and family. Angel is her guardian, he is who keeps her alive and he is who she wants to live for. Will they survive the dark, sinister world they've entered? It's a tough passage but Angel and his Team are up to the task.

The conspiracy keeps getting more and more involved with each book. You would think by now we would have a few answers, but no, all we seem to get is more questions.

The romance between Wynn and Angel was great, but it seems like it took a back seat to everything else. And like most of the people in the book there are more connections to Omni than first thought.

I found myself more interested in Lion and his cubs. Could they find their way home and if they did, how would they acclimate? How would everyone else react to them?

What really threw me was the revelations from Val's dad. There was a lot of WTF, both from me and our characters. What little we did learn makes me hate all of those of Val's dads generation.

It will be interesting to see what happens next, to see what Owen does with the nugget of info he learned right at the end.

Angel is just heavenly

What is it about these books that a reader loves?.... sexy alpha males, strong women, drama, suspense, action, romance....ticks all the boxes for me!!

Loved this book from the very start. Angel is a tough cookie but boy Wynn is no damsel in distress and their love story is just awesome.

I really love this series! This was Angel and Wynn's story and as much as this story may have cleared a few things up, it opened up so many more questions. I absolutely love the twists and turns Elaine Levine has woven throughout every single book. You never know what is going to be revealed or what new secrets there will be. So looking forward to Owen and Adelaide's story.

A definite must read series

This is a complex, intriguing, and twisted series of love, hate, loyalty, betrayal, secrets, lies, and twisted games. It's a series that must be read from the beginning in order to understand the complexities of the storyline.
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding author.

Good entry here, with a nice love story between teacher Wynn and Angel Cordova, another "leaving" of the OWO. However, the storm clouds are done gathering and the storm is about to begin. The players are all beginning to convene in Wolf Creek Bend, and the explosion is near.

Once again, the author has created a story that feels rushed with the characters coming across as shallow. These characters had more depth in the previous stories than they have in their own story.
Would only recommend this book to keep up with the series and not for the story itself.
