I would probably give this book a 3.5 star rating. What I liked most about it was that all but two of the stories (A Sound of Thunder by Bradbury and The Love Letter by Finney) were ones that I had not read before. Those were probably two of the best in this collection (of course that is a pretty high bar), but I enjoyed reading the vast majority of these stories.

Currently on a bit of a time slip / time travel buzz, and I used to like these young Oxford collections as a kid, so this was a really fun read. Couple of stories in there that I've been meaning to read forever, and a couple that I think would make pretty good short films. Couple of lame ones as well, but not so many that it became tiresome.

This book is a favorite of mine!

It is a wonderful collection of time travel related stories.

"They Live Forever" by Lloyd Biggle Jr makes me cry every time.

This book is a collection of short stories by many different authors. They range from the well known to the no so known. Like for instants there are such well known authors as Ray Bradbury and Arthur C. Clarke to Alison Prince and Garry Kilworth (who are they??). The stories range from stories based in the past to the present to the distance furture. All the stories are different in their own way.

So as you can tell there's a big range in this book. But there are something they all share. Like the fact that they all have to do with time. Whether it's time traveling or time shifts, it all has to do with time. The other thing that is the same through all the stories, is coincidence. All of the stories have weird twists of fate. And that's what makes a timewarp story good, right? I mean with out coincidences the story would have no meat, na inserest.

So this collection of these timewarp stories are all good. They are beatifully written stories of coincidences and time. If you are a sci-fi lover, you should be going to the book store or libary to get this book right now. It is a must read on the topic of time......

What can I say--time travel has always been my favorite topic in scifi, so I couldn't resist a whole book of stories! Very enjoyable if you're into stories about time travel, time warps and ghosts...and if you're not--don't bother!

The book was "okay". Not really great but if you are a sci-fi lover you will probably have some fun time reading it. Few stories are really good and few are not so bad either. But again it depends on the author.
