One false step could undo everything the Timekeepers hope to accomplish... Earth's ancient past, the future of the planet Kila, the timekeepers universe of origin, the primordial era when the Nefilim first ruled the galaxy and a timeless universe of utter darkness, are all periods vital to advancing human consciousness. After surviving Ancient Zhou, the timekeeper's efforts turn to rescuing the planet Kila from its ill-fated future. But a mishap in the remote mountains of tibet before departure provides a nemesis with the perfect opportunity to launch a time-hopping vendetta against them. there is nowhere in this universe to hide. the discovery of a gate thought to lead to several universes provides more than just the means to undermine their stalker; it offers the chance to remember their lives as the Grigori, who once dwelt with the fallen Elohim, in the dark universe beyond the Eternity Gate.

To be safe, I won't be recording my thoughts (if I choose to) here until after the AA are over.
Re-read December 2023 Re-read halfway through 2021.
Re-read January 2021. What can I say that I didn't cover the first time I wrote about this book, after reading it for the very first time? 'Still loving it!' about covers it, however...
Re-reading June 2019: Still loving it!!! :-)
Having enjoyed every book written by Traci Harding so far, I knew I'd enjoy reading The Eternity Gate. I spent months (years, really...) looking forward to this book and had a blast reading it. The next book in the series, AWOL, is my entire To-Do list for my next day off (and probably the next two days off after that one...) ! I've been a fan of Traci's books and the worlds and characters she's created for nearly fifteen years and am as thrilled to be reading a new (new to me!) story in 2016 as I was in 2002 when I first read The Ancient Future. Whether reading about Ancient Britain, far-away Kila, adventures in Atlantis or Grail Princesses throughout the ages, I've loved each and every story and have read each and every book multiple times.
When I first read about Taren Lennox, her friends, her family members, her adventures and her universe, I looked forward to what I thought would be a more science fiction-y trilogy than the earlier more fantasy-ish books. I enjoy science fiction and fantasy equally, however reading a science fiction book by one of my favourite fantasy authors sounded like a real blast! Having now finished the second book in the second trilogy I can happily say that I very much enjoyed the sci-fi elements as well as the fantasy parts of the books. Taren, Lucian and the gang have kept me entertained, intrigued and glued to the pages of all the books they feature in, this latest one most definitely included!
I liked this overall, but I feel like this trilogy is getting a bit out of hand and over the top. I skipped over a lot of the quantum theory/timeline dialogue. It was just a bit too much after a whole book of it. I kind of miss the good old days of The Ancient Future! However, I will be buying the third book next February as I like the premise of all the worlds Traci Harding has created. Books promoting a positive outlook on all things without laying on the religious angle is quite refreshing.
I love everything and anything by Traci Harding so of course I really enjoyed this book.
Sometimes I get a bit lost as the plot can get pretty complex and it's hard to remember what's happening with all the time hopping. I LOVE having some old characters back in the mix though.
Traci has done it again! If work hadn't kept getting in the way, I would have easily finished this in one sitting. Every time I read Traci's new books, I always want to go back to The Ancient Future to start the journey all over again.
I have enjoyed Traci’s books in the past but unless you have read her earlier books, this next series “The Timekeepers” wont make too much sense to the casual reader. A further chapter in the next reincarnation of the original characters.
