I was born and bred in Surrey, but since 1998 I have lived in sunny Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset. I live with my two sons - trying very hard to hold onto my Surrey accent!

For years I persevered with boring jobs, until my two boys joined my nest and I was allowed to stay at home. In an attempt to find something to work around my sons, and to ensure I never endured full time boredom again, I found writing.

At first it was an addictive hobby, then, in 2009, wanting to improve my craft (in the hope I might get paid), I embarked on a voyage - the Writer’s Bureau Comprehensive Writing Course.

I am at my happiest baking cakes, putting proper home cooked dinners on the table (whether the kids eat them or not), reading a good romance, or sitting at my PC emptying the thoughts from my head onto the screen.

I love writing contemporary romance, creating heroes readers will fall in love with. I love creating stories with a touch of escapism.

5☆  Beautifully Charming read

This is my first book by Teresa and it certainly won't be my last.

Meet me at Wisteria Cottage is a beautiful story of romance, mystery, new beginnings and some comical humour.

The story is set in the beautiful Cornish seaside, of Tinners Bay.

Maddy Is the main character in the story.
The story starts when her house catches fire.
With no where to go and no home, Harry her neighbour turns up to save the day.

Being an ex-firefighter and labdscape gardener he is quick to offer a damsel in distress a place to stay.
Maddy graciously accepts.

As they get to know each other the more you can feel the chemistry sizzling up between them.

With a fear of overstaying her welcome and possibly jeopardizing their friendship and possible connection, Maddy moves into Wisteria Cottage by the sea

However Maddy's ex Connor isn't about to make things easy.
With a difficult breakup can Maddy truly let her guard down and open her heart again!

The story was extremely enchanting.
I love books  that feature a coastal town, Cornwall is absolutely beautiful and Teresa captures it's endearing charm perfectly.

I really liked Maddy. Even when her house was on fire she remained so strong. She was very likeable. I loved watching her with Harry. I loved the fact that he opened he's home to her. What a hero!!

Overall a charming and enchanting read.
Very easy to read. Once you opened the first few pages you knew it was going to be special.

I would most Definetly recommend this to readers who want to escape to the beautiful Cornish seaside, fall in love with wisteria cottage and the characters within.

Thank you to Netgalley, Publishers and for the opportunity to Teresa F Morgan read this book for an honest review.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance reader copy of this book.

You can find my review on both Goodreads and Amazon. On goodreads.com/karenwhittard and on Amazon under k.e.whittard from publication date.

I have been a fan of Teresa F Morgan for a few years now since I saw her signing books in Waterstones at waymouth. Teresa is such a lovely kind and funny person who is a fantastic writer. Her books 'One fine day' and 'plus one is a lucky number' are also wonderful if you haven't read her books be sure to check these out too.

Perfect for fans of Chick Lit and romance books. Meet me at Wisteria cottage is a wonderful lighthearted, easy read. With lots of funny moments lots of romance soldering heros and wonderful heroine, stunning scenery and a beautiful black cat called sookie.

When Maddy's house is set on fire her neighbour and ex firefighter Harry comes to her rescue and offers her a place to stay. After a funny but awkward first encounter madly is a little unsure but with no other option agrees.

However soon feelings begin to develop and things start moving too fast madly moves into her friends cottage the beautiful wisteria cottage but who should arrive as the landscape gardener. None other then out dashing hero Harry. Maddy soon realises that perhaps the universe is trying to tell her something.

But after a nasty break up is Maddy ready for love again?
What are the secrets Harry is hiding?
And who set fire to Maddys house?

This is a must read for all. Utterly wonderful. Loved it.

Let me know what you think and as always happy reading.

A striking example of two pasts threatening a joint future. Teresa Morgan writes a convincingly damaged hero fighting to find love again, and a heroine with battles of her own. A great read.

Passionate, picturesque and perfect!
I adored this novel. The third by Teresa F Morgan, her gift for telling a romantic story has gone from strength to strength with 'Meet Me at Wisteria Cottage'. Picture perfect scenery, a self possessed and feisty heroine and a brooding, handsome hero in the form of one Harry Tudor all combine to make this the perfect holiday read. With a colourful cast of supporting characters (a special mention goes to Maddy's mum, who clearly demonstrates where Maddy gets her desire to do things on her terms from, and Harry's dad, who is a total silver fox!), and a storyline filled with drama and heat, and this is a great way to spend your Easter break. Maddy, similar to the flame haired, Cornish Demelza, is a captivating heroine, and Harry shares plenty in common with the brooding, Ross Poldark - both wanting to make a success of their lives after trauma, and finding themselves falling in love. A worthy addition to Teresa Morgan's catalogue, this novel is a real treat!

I've had this novel on my TBR pile for over a year now and I saw it pop up on Twitter and decided that now was the right time to finally give it a read. I got it whilst it was on sale for 99p in the Kindle sale and now I've read it - I can honestly say it was a great purchase to make.

This is my first novel by Teresa F. Morgan and it definitely won't be my last. The writing style drew you in completely and throughout the novel I was hooked. I will say that even though it's quite a light-hearted novel, some of the characters in the book are definitely battling some horrible demons which I thought was put quite heavily on the story. I usually like to read heartwarming and easy, happy reads and in places I feel that this novel was quite dark.

Don't get me wrong, it talks about some serious issues in a great way but at some points I was reading it feeling quite sad! At the start of the novel, main character Maddy's house catches fire and neighbour Harry offers her a place to stay until she gets back onto her feet. The pair soon feel the chemistry between them and sparks fly. However, the pair are obviously dealing with their own issues and it makes it difficult for them to show their feelings.

I was quite surprised that their relationship started quite early on in the novel, however this didn't make it go slow or anything - quite the opposite as I enjoyed reading about their relationship and all the trials they had to get through to come out the other side. I have read few books where they start their relationship early on in the book, as normally 70% along is them not together. I quite liked this different style of writing.

I enjoyed the setting, I loved Wisteria Cottage (even though it took around 40% for Maddy to finally move in!) and overall I did enjoy this novel, however I wouldn't say it was one of my favourites but it made a nice read and I'm glad I did read it. I will definitely be looking out for more novels by this author in the future.

MEET ME AT WISTERIA COTTAGE is my first Teresa F. Morgan book and it won’t be my last; especially for the occasions when I want a delicious piece of mind candy: humor, romance, and mystery, set in a drop-dead gorgeous location—the Cornish seaside.

A little predictable, but it in the most delightful way. The characters are vivid and you fall for them, in a brush stroke. Wisteria Cottage was just what the doctor ordered. :)

Meet Me at Wisteria Cottage

I am not usually one who reads romance novels, but I totally enjoyed this one. The characters were real except perhaps Harry was a little too perfect. However, even Harry had his problems.

When we first meet Maddy, she is having a verbal fight with her next door neighbor Harry Tudor, a landscaper. Later that evening as Maddy is returning to her house, she finds that it is on fire. Harry, her neighbor, comes to her rescue and offers to let her stay with him. He even agrees to let her cat stay even though he is not fond of cats. As Maddy and Harry become closer, Harry battles with old demons that make him wonder if Maddy would not be better off without him. Maddy also comes with some baggage of his own. The author does a good job of resolving their issues.

This was a beautifully written book set in Cornwall- with a beautiful cottage overlooking the sea. When Maddy's house has a fire she moves in with a neighbour- but soon looks for some space of her own whilst she's waiting for her own house to be completed. Sizzling sparks fly and a strong romantic element develops.

She arranges to stay in Wisteria Cottage whilst it is being renovated and I loved seeing the cottage come to life through the pages of the book. It makes you want to buy a project of your own in Cornwall and move in right away.

I loved the characters and the setting and the hints of secrets lurking beneath the surface. I'm delighted to discover that I can now go back and read more of Teresa's back catalogue.

Meet me at Wisteria Cottage is the first book that I have read by Teresa Morgan and it wont be the last. I really enjoyed it and read it in just a few days.

Set in Cornwall, which is always good with me, it's main character Maddy Hart seems to be having some bad luck, with her house set on fire and her love life a disaster. However, she soon finds a friend in her neighbour Harry, who she previously couldn't stand. I liked the characters of Maddy and Harry, thought the plot line good and all in all a good read.

Loveable Characters

I fell in love with Maddy and Harry from the off set ... the tension and attraction created between these two characters and the push and pull of their relationship kept me hooked til the end. The situations seemed really real and the author has definitely done her homework. This is the second book I have read from this author and I am looking forward to the next one...a great read especially when it is grim and raining outside....a lovely bit of escapism. Thanks ❤️❤️
