She can't remember her past. He wishes he could forget his.

Nina only has the vaguest memories of who she is or why two men tried to kill her one terrifying night. All she knows is how quickly she's falling in love with her rescuer - a man with secrets of his own. With her, he's kind, gentle, and fun - but there's a ferocious, animal side to Boone and the group of Special Forces vets he shares an exclusive seaside estate with. Can Boone help her uncover the past before the killers catch up with her?

If fate were to come knocking on the door of Boone Hawthorne's beach bungalow, he'd shove it right back into the sea - especially if it started whispering any nonsense about destined mates. But one night, a woman washes up on his private stretch of beach. Before the wolf shifter knows it, he's breaking every personal rule for her and making promises he's not sure he can keep. Investigating Nina's past means crossing paths with a powerful archenemy, cutthroat criminals, and a ruthlessly selfish ex-lover who will stop at nothing to get Boone back in her bed. Can he protect Nina - and his heart - while solving the mystery of her identity?

USA Today and Amazon best-selling author Anna Lowe loves putting the "hero" back into heroine and letting location ignite a passionate romance. She likes a heroine who is independent, intelligent, and imperfect — a woman who's doing just fine on her own. But give the heroine a good man (not to mention a chance to overcome her own inhibitions) and she'll never turn down the chance for adventure, nor shy away from danger.

On any given weekend, you might find her hiking in the mountains or hunched over her laptop, working on her latest story. Either way, the day will end with a chunk of dark chocolate and a good read.

Destining is bringing the stones and mates together. She will not be denied.

Lure of the Wolf is book two, but can be read as a stand-a-lone. It was a wonderful, delightful, and sweet read in the Aloha Shifters: Jewels of the Heart series.

Lure of the Wolf is an exciting, delicious, and satisfying read. The action and suspense kept me on the edge of my set. The characters are interesting and the story is well told. I just love each of the five “brothers in arms”. These brothers are retired military men that have formed their own unique pack, clan, group. Each one is unique and nothing is off limits except falling in love with humans.

Boone is adorable and Nina is so kindhearted. They are just perfect for each other. You can see their connection throughout and how well they work together. The story is captivating and intriguing. Just trying to figure out what will happen next is exciting.

This is such a fun series. You can’t go wrong with Anna Lowe and her shifter stories.

Zároveň by mi vůbec nevadilo, kdyby některé situace autorka více natáhla.
Z gatěk vás to do nebes sice nevystřelí, jenže to není potřeba. Jak jsem psala, tohle jsou spíš pohádky na vydechnutí.
Mým top dílem zůstává první s Kaiem, avšak Boone byl taky skvělý chlap. Jeho i Niny příběh jsem si užila.

This is a great series, set in beautiful Hawaii and featuring a stunning set of shifter men.

This is Boone's book, he is a wolf shifter. In book 1 he watched Kai find his mate, he is not expecting a woman to wash up on his beach, let alone feel instantly connected to her.

Nina is a mess she has lost her memory and is in some sort of heaven (in my opinion) she is in a cabin on a beach being cared for by a gorgeous man who for some reason she feels completely comfortable with.

It's not all love and romance we have to have some danger/angst but I'll be honest, yes there is a HEA <3

I really enjoyed getting to know all the characthers a little more in this book. Nina and Boone's story is a good read that devoured in one sitting.

This is such a fun series - I love the setting and the “Magnum PI” feel of things. (If you haven’t read the first book, “Lure of the Dragon”, it’s about Kai. You don’t have to read it to understand or enjoy this book, but it’s a lot of fun.)

Boone is a Wolf Shifter, and a really good guy. He’s been used and betrayed so he’s not interested in finding a mate, because women cannot be trusted. And then he finds Nina washed up on the beach and he just can’t keep himself from helping her. Silas, leader of his group, insists that the woman be handed off to the local police, but Boone just can’t do it, and Nina’s too afraid to leave his side.

Nina is a likeable, sweet person. There's a lot of mystery in this book all centered on the question: who tried to kill Nina, and why? She can't remember exactly what happened or her immediate past, which puts an interesting twist on things.

With no memories to draw on, Nina has to rely on her instincts and feelings to guide her; Boone has to allow himself to trust that Nina is being honest with him. Even though he and his inner Wolf recognize her as their Fated Mate, it's not easy for Boone to trust what his Wolf is telling him.

The action and suspense in this episode of "Aloha Shifters" really kept me on the edge of my seat. The opening scene is terrifically scary, like the explosive opening scene of an action movie. During the climax of the story, I could feel Nina's panic, fear, and confusion. I wanted to shake Boone and yell at him, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! DON'T LET HER GO!" What a rollercoaster!

As always, there’s a fair amount of “heat” in this book as well as some violence, but never fear, there’s no cliffhangers, and definitely a happy ending. The characters are interesting, and the story well told. If you like steamy Fated Love, suspense, and complex heroes who can turn into animals, you cannot go wrong with an Anna Lowe shifter story.

This sequel makes me really want to visit Hawaii!

Overall: 5 stars
Performance: 4 stars
Story: 5 stars

I am a fan of Ms. Lowe’s stories and have read/listened to several of her books. I love how she weaves the story elements together and makes it easy to picture the characters, locations and emotions. In fact, she did such a fantastic job of describing the location that I am wishing I could visit Maui this summer instead of sometime in the distant future.

The narrator, Ms. Osbourne, did well with the various characters voices and emotions. This is the 4th or 5th story I’ve listened to her narrate and I have truly come to enjoy her narration style.

While the story does start off with the age-old trope of amnesia, I didn’t find it as annoying as I generally do. I think it was executed well and was easy to believe. The other elements of the story were well done too. I loved mystery of who was trying to harm Nina and why.

I loved how Boone and Nina clicked with one another. Granted it was insta-lust & insta-love, but that’s a typical shifter trope, but like the amnesia it was well executed. The characters actually considered why the loved one another.

The supporting cast was great as well. I am definitely looking forward to reading/listening to Hunter and Dawn’s story. I love those two characters! Books 1 and 2 of this series have set their story up well. It’s going to be interesting since they characters are not strangers, but have been dancing around their attraction for quite some time. Oh, and I’m looking forward to Cruz’s story in book 4. I like the growly tiger.

Disclosure: I received a free copy of the audible version of the book.

When Nina finds herself in a dangerous situation without memories of how she ended up there, or who she is, she turns to the one who saved her, a protective man she can´t resist.
When threats comes closer, she finds he´s one to trust as well, even if her own past throws doubt at them..
Fast paced, action filled and with fluff in a Hawaiian setting.
Love this series!

So like the first book the heroes wolf was extremely funny. I can imagine fighting with your alter ego about who's is my mate and what my mate likes. In this book the heroine is thrown off a boat and she swims towards shore. She looses her memory and can only recall certain things. The pack helps her. Like always there is a happily ever after. Great entertaining read.

by Anna Lowe
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
What a Phenomenal read that I absolutely adored. Each book in this series is exciting, delicious and unforgettable with the hottest Shifters you have ever read and you will want to fall in love with Kai,Boone, Hunter, Cruz and Silas, They are all elite corps of shifter bodyguards and private investigators and for them nothing is off limits except falling in love especially with humans. One night as Boone walked on the beach he came up on a women laying half on the beach half in the sea. His wolf is immediately attracted to Nina his favorite word being mine, mate. But they have a rule no humans. Boone precedes to pick Nina up and carry her to his cottage. After making sure she didn't have any broken bones just the bump on her head. Boone ask her what her name was but she look blankly at him and she started to panic because she couldn't remember her own name. I am so captivated by this story, trying to figure out what would happen next. Its so intriguing, and engaging but a excellent read. This is the second book in this series written by Anna Lowe is awesome and exciting. The story continues involving three of the five brothers in arms, who are retired from the military and at first they are at odds with their lives, but Silas gathered them together forming a pack/ clan or weyr it's a touche subject of what they should call their group, but old habits die hard as Silas was their leader in the military and when they set up their cover as a exclusive private investigator/bodyguard agency. Silas knows the owner of their retreat or as they call it house sitting for a rich benefactor and he is the leader of their group, which comprises of two dragons, a wolf, a tiger and a bear, Silas tells them they don’t need to look for trouble, because trouble seems to find them all right. Their adventures continue, Boone is a wolf shifter whose past has comeback to visit him. Nina is his mate and their emotions with the danger to defeat the evil that's after her is exciting and puts you on the edge of your seat. This is the second book in this new series and it’s been a turnaround for me. I read the first book thinking I wouldn’t enjoy it as much because it was about the romance between a dragon shifter and his mate. Somehow, I thought dragons as shifters were less believable than wolf shifters….. I know right?! But I totally loved it and this book was just as good.

Boone is the wolf shifter amongst his motley crew of PIs living and working in Hawaii and he is probably the most laid back amongst the pack/weyr/clan/pride….. But when he finds Nina washed up on his section of the beach on Koa Point, the vast estate that they live, his protective streak goes into overdrive. Nina was thrown from a boat by a couple of men who tried to kill her and she has lost her memory, from the head injury she received, the shock of realising someone wanted her dead or a combination of the two. All she can remember is that her name if Nina.

Boone carries her to the meeting house where he, Hunter and Cruz try to find out what happened to her. Silas, the leader of their group, has given strict instructions that Boone is to take her to the police the next morning but Boone has other ideas. During a ride the following day Boone and Nina, quite by chance, discover where she has been staying in Hawaii and they also discover her surname. Whilst they are off in Boone’s chalet falling in love and making a commitment to each other, Hunter does some research and the discovery of who she is was a surprise…. I can honestly say that I would never have guessed her background but unfortunately, that discovery leads her would be killers right to her.

Although Silas and Kai are mainly absent from this book, I liked that we got to know a little bit more about Hunter and Cruz. Cruz is still scary but Hunter, it seems, is just like a cuddly teddy bear. We meet Officer Meli again and learn that although Boone seems to collect the most traffic tickets from her, it’s really Hunter she only has eyes for…. Eyes that see far too much toward the end of the book. Hunter’s story comes next and I honestly can’t wait.

The second book in this new series given to us by Anna Lowe is a heart-stopper. The book continues with the saga involving five “brothers in arms”, retired from the military and at bit at odds as to what to do with their lives. Gathered by Silas and forming a family of sorts, they set up a cover as private investigators while “house sitting” for a rich benefactor. The group, comprising of two dragons, a wolf, a tiger and a bear, don’t need to look for trouble, as trouble seems to be able to find them just fine.
In this book, we meet Nina, a woman who has survived an attempt at murder, more or less washing up on the private shore where the fearless group reside. The moment Boone lays eyes on her, his inner wolf howls, recognizing his fated mate. But Boone is a bit more on the cautious side, having been fooled by his wolf and his human side before, even though he knows deep down that there’s something special about the unknown woman in front of him. Nina can’t remember how she got to the beach, or what she was doing, only that her first name is Nina, and that there’s a reason that she should be afraid, but when she opens her eyes and sees the hunk of a man in front of her, all she can feel is peace, warmth and safety. An inner connection that she can’t explain, but deep down, her body and heart are telling her that she can trust this man. What neither of them know is what is in store for them. Past enemies seem to resurface and memories fade and return, revealing more and more of the mysteries revolving the infamous set of “life stones” stolen from the most powerful dragon family centuries ago, each holding a special power for the beholder.
Ms. Lowe is a talented author, able to spin and weave the most intriguing and heart-retching tales. Her series will not disappoint, and once you start, you won’t want to miss out on any of them. This is simply another example of her wonderful talent to sweep us off to another world full of danger, suspense and love. Happy reading!
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily giving my honest opinion.

Ready for the big, bad wolf? 5 RED JEWELS

Destiny wants this, don’t you see? This was it. this was the mission of his life. A make-or-break moment. All raw, animal power that called to her, body and soul. Would the primal rhythm win out, or would reality come crashing back in? AARROOOO! WEREWOLVES OF MAUI!! What a PAWSITIVELY WOLFTACULAR book!! And a PAWFECT continuation of this MAUIGNIFICENT series!! WOW! This book is so different for lots of reasons, but the main one is because of Nina having no clue as to who she is! I loved how real it felt too! Between muscle memory, an almost sixth sense and the voices in her head, Nina finds herself doing things she isn't sure why, trusting someone she is sure she doesn't know and responding in ways she can't explain or articulate, but it all just. feels. right. Of course, there is one helluva Boone that's right there beside her, helping her, making her feel safe, so that makes all of it seem worthwhile! Too bad she doesn't know his Big Furry Secret! Too bad she doesn't know hers! But since she doesn't even remember her last name... This is one of those stories that had me holding my breath, swooning, cursing, howling with laughter, panting (outdoor shower scene!!) and even BAWLING a time or 3 too! Anna truly is one phenomenally talented & naturally, genuinely gifted author who once again enhanced & enriched her storytelling with lush, detailed descriptions that had me seeing the beautiful landscape & iconic blue water, smelling the hibiscus, feeling the sand in my hands, grass in my toes, soft, plush fur against my face, just totally immersing me completely in the story! I love, Love, LOVE when the animal side is its own character and Anna gives him the ABSO-FURRY-LUTELY best WOLFALITY I have read in a VERY long time!! I was howling with laughter so many times!! I can't forget to mention all of the best parts of being a Shifter and all of the cool benefits that come with it! And that last bit that leads up to THE GRRRAND FURNALE?!? WHOA BABY!!

I am loving each story in this series. I think each story so far has had it own special way of winning you over on the characters.

Now I used whispersync with this book. I love the narrator’s voice. She had a way of pulling you into the story and bring the characters to life. Following along with the story I did notice that the narrator did rearrange sentences, substituted words, and skipped one to two sentences at a time.

I can not imagine the fear Nina felt. Here she was someone trying to killer and she could not remember why. Seemed like she could not remember a lot of her present memories and some of her past. She could not remember her last name, who she was, what she did for a living, and some very important details. She did remember bits and pieces of her mother though. I guess through the fear she had to be feeling that was one comfort she had. It was a comfort and a pain as well.

I loved Boone in book one, so it was good to see this sexy wolf shifter find his mate. He was not willing to except it at first but piece by piece his wolf and friends helped him realize how important Nina was to him.

As you are reading the story you will start trying to solve the mystery surround Nina in your mind. Let me tell you, you will be far off. I sure did not expect the secrets that surrounds Nina.

We got to know a little more about more of Hunter and Cruz’s. I just love Hunter and can not wait to read book 3 about him. Cruz I got to see a small glimpse of some kindness. Silas who is this cracky dragon yea though it was small we got to see a little different side of him as well. I can only imagine what the story will be like for Silas and Cruz when they find their mate. Cruz is a loner who hates humans and Silas well he is just cranky..LOL

Danger is just around the corner and enemies from the past will pop up. This will be a lot for Boone to handle but he has his friends and the love of his life. Thing is Nina”s hidden secrets that are deep locked in her mind can crush her and Boone.

This was a great story and glad I took to time to read the story.

Everyone has heard the old cliche "I need to find myself," and I'm sure most of us have had the same reaction...*rolls eyes* But for Nina, it's not a cliche, it's her reality. She knows her name and that's about it. Oh yeah, and that she's in danger.

Boone is just minding his own business, enjoying the beach on his property when he discovers a mermaid has washed ashore. LOL Oh wait, false alarm, it's woman. One that definitely needs help.

Though Boone knows Silas's stance on humans, he has reasons, he refuses to let Nina go through this alone. He wants to help, plus, he feels a connection for her and he can't figure out why.

Nina feels it as well, but without her full memory, she doesn't know what awaits her at home. As she and Boone work together to uncover not only her identity, but also what happened to her and why, the attraction between them grows stronger, making it even harder to resist.

As things begin to come together, giving a vague idea of who Nina is, Boone's past returns to haunt him in the form of his ex-girlfriend, as well as the man that betrayed them all. It seems as if they're interested in Nina too, and have someone with them to show their concern is sincere. *Hah, yeah right.*

How will Boone react upon meeting someone from Nina's life? How is his past now connected with hers? Is it a coincidence? Or a plan to get what they want from Nina? Can Boone trust in Nina and his growing love for her? Can Nina accept Boone for who and what he is? Is she truly his mate? Or will a previous betrayal cloud his judgment and instincts? Is Nina safe? Who attacked her and why? Can Boone get to her in time or will he lose her forever? Is there a HEA for them?

One-click now and follow along as two people discover a love so true that it can overcome any obstacle.

Reviewed at Shifter Haven

Lure of the Wolf will grab your attention from the opening scene right through to the final page… and then maybe wish for just a bit more. Once again we meet up with our former Special Forces men at the luxurious, private estate where Tom Selleck would feel right at home, right down to the red Ferrari in the huge garage. This time it’s our lone wolf, Boone, who takes the spotlight and finds his mate… along with some enemies of old.

Nina is an amazingly strong character, especially given her circumstances. If the opening scenes of this story don’t draw you in for the rest, then I don’t know what would. I liked Nina, she might be down right now but she’s not giving up the fight.

I said it in my review of Lure of the Dragon, and I’ll say it again for Lure of the Wolf – I believe this is Anna Lowe’s best writing, best series yet. I’ve read her work for a long time now, and while I’ve loved it all this series is a whole different level of good. A review is nothing more than one person’s opinion, there’s no magic formula here, simply an opinion. If the cover description grabs your attention then you should pick up the book. If you do you’ll discover an intense story full of danger, a love story full of promise and passion, and a cast of characters to love, to loathe, to get right into their journey along with them. That is the magic and you shouldn’t be missing it at all.

Nina and Boone’s story proves that sometimes you simply have to go with your instincts, that what is said to be real often isn’t and the only thing you can trust in the end are your own gut feelings. They rarely lie. Lure of the Wolf is a story that I would not have missed for the world, and I’m awaiting the next one with impatience.

I read this story through my Kindle Unlimited subscription.

This second story in Aloha Shifters - Jewels of the Heart covers the romance between Boone the Wolf Shifter and amnesiac victim Nina who washes up on their beach. This story introduces several more villains as Nina and Boone work on the mystery of what happened to Nina and she recovers her memories slowly. The story has lots of mystery and adventure and another Spirit Stone makes an appearance. We get a small hint that the stones recognize each other, but more meaning to be uncovered in future books.

One favourite part of story for me occurred after Nina first washed up on the beach and Boone was so reassuring and tender, protective and careful of her. Also got a foreshadowing that adorable gentle giant Bear Shifter Hunter will get his romance in next story with recurring Character Officer Meli.

Also loved that female Mate Tessa from Book 1 appears at the end of this story and I am thrilled that the women also develop a telepathic connection. I also really liked that Nina's background perhaps fills a hole in the skill base and strengths in the whole group. (Can see some long term business potential for the women, perhaps). This will build long term a strong feminine power base as balance for this group of Alpha males. You can feel the now enlarged group is becoming family/pack/weyr as they tussle over what to call their group.

Still loving the tropical beauty of Hawaii as a backdrop for the story - it is a refreshing change for a shifter stories. I highly recommend that Readers follow the link to sign up for Anna Lowe's Newsletter to access the Bonus Scene Epilogues. Story lost 1/2 star for me for several TSTL decisions. Imagine being attacked and thrown the ocean to die and when you think all is lost you end up on a beach and a beautiful man comes and tells you that he will not let anyone hurt you. In this second story in the new series, Nina Miller is recovering from an ordeal and she has no memory of why or who wants to kill her Boone a wolf shifter who is one of the residents at the Koa Point estate takes her to the other guys to figure out what is going on even though he feels protective of her right from the beginning, when Boone told their Leader Silas what was going on he said don't get involved take her to the police let them handle it. Boone thought about it and knew that he could never let her go she was his mate and when they made love they both knew that it was more than just sex they were meant to be but of coarse her so called husband comes in with Boone's worse enemy to drag her away. Late when she is in the car going she doesn't know where but she does know that the man she loves is back at the estate and where she wants to be she tries the door in the car and finds it is locked, Kramer the man her husband said worked for him told her she wasn't going anywhere and they went right passed the resort she had been staying in before she was attacked. She cries out for Boone in her mind. Boone takes a while to mourn his loss and feeling betrayed again it takes his brothers to help him come to his senses about his feelings for Nina. When he,Cruz and Hunter are off to find his woman and bring her back but it is not going to be easy. This is a very interesting romance suspense with a really good plot up until the end. I was given an Advanced Reader Copy for an honest review.

Very Talented Indeed!

I've been blown away to Hawaii.....Aloha! Oh I loved this second book of this great new series Aloha Shifters... These ex-military hunky shifters live in Hawaii taking on odd jobs as P.I.'s and Body Guards....So far dragon shifter Kai has found his mate Tessa. Now we come to Boone, the wolf shifter who looks like a model for a surfers magazine.

Boone is cousin to the alpha of Twin Moons Ranch in Arizona, he hooked up with his team mates in the Military and has been living with them in his own little hut by the water in Hawaii ever since. He has never believed in fated mates, he is very scarred and bitter after being duped by the woman he thought was his mate while serving his country.. That's why he can't believe when the beautiful siren is washed up from the sea to the beach in his back yard and he feels the pull. Can he trust a woman again, will chance it or let her slip out of his fingers?

Nina is swept away in a wave of water into the arms of the most beautiful man she has ever seen, problem is she only remembers her name and not why someone would want her dead. If it means she will continue to ride the waves of pleasure in his arms, she doesn't want to remember.

With Nina comes the Firestone and evil beings will go to any lengths to acquire it and the millions she unknowingly inherited along with the Ruby Firestone.

Lots of action and the passion is to die for.....Boone is one very talented wolf! I felt like I was right there in the outdoor shower yummmmm!

This book started out the gate with spunk. Nina was thrown overboard and left for dead. She didn't know how she made it to shore or where she was. She passes out. The next minute she looks up and was enthralled by this handsome stranger whose at first glance eyes glowed indigo. What luck did Boone had to have his mate wash up on his piece of paradise. Only problem she doesn't remember much. She has a case of amnesia. But Boone will protect her. Keep her safe. Of course Silas wants of none of this. Drop her off to the police. But Boone has other plans. They take a drive just the two of them on his Harley Davidson motorcycle to see if they can jar her memory. She come across a spot and things come to her but she still doesn't understand why. They come upon a ritzy fa- tooty resort. There people recognize her. They are escorted to her penthouse suite. The room is ransacked. She gets her stuff. And they precede downstairs once Boone calls for backup . Once Cruz and Hunter arrive they whisked Nina away. Downstairs Boone is accosted by his nemesis Kramer who's a mercenary and ex-lover Tamara. The guys rush Nina away while Boone stayed back. Then that's when the fun began....menagerie being offered, kidnappings, shifters being found out, new jewels awakening, mate's being found out about(more than one set)...you really need to get the book. Waiting for book 3 Hunters book. Oh yeah she was left 50 million dollars.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. This story started out dark—kind of like her Blue Moon Saloon spinoff—but like that spinoff of the Twin Moon Ranch stories, it is just the build-up for much better things to come! In this story, we meet lonely and somewhat doubtful Boone, cousin to Ty and Cody who encounters his fated mate washed up on the beach near his bungalow with a head injury and no real memory of who she is or why she ended up in the water. Nina is sweet, strong, resilient, and intuitive. She’s very likeable. It’s obvious how likeable she is when she is bestowed with a gift of enormous value. She even manages to take the edge off of Cruz, the resident tiger shifter. We meet villains Kramer, a mercenary wolf shifter and Tamara, a witch that Boone once thought was his fated mate. They are thoroughly despicable and from the moment you meet them, you almost hope that something truly bad happens to them. This story has everything—lust, love, hope, redemption, suspense, a sense of self, and even a part that will make you sad. Hunter, the grizzly shifter has so much on his soul. I really can’t wait for his story and Officer Meli. She strikes me as a very interesting character, who aside from being model beautiful, seems to have her own reasons for becoming a police officer and doing what others least expect her to do—and I can’t wait!

When I thought this series could not get better – it does!!

My heart still goes pitty-pat for this Aloha Shifters series. This particular story focuses on wolf-shifter Boone. Nina washes up on shore (actually swims 3 miles) so a worthy mate to our wolf protagonist. Boone has been fooled by a previous attraction, but his wolf is darn sure this time is different. Nina has no idea who she is and how she got there; the journey to solve this mystery is filled with danger, intrigue and amazing sensual scenes between our main characters.

Boone is the ultimate caregiver for Nina;
“What’s your name?” he asked, so quietly, so gently, she wanted to cry. Then she really did cry, because she couldn’t remember. The Nina part came out automatically, but after that, she got stuck. Nina…Nina who? She searched her memories and found them horrifyingly blank, like a photo negative left too long in the sun.

As I was leaving my review I saw another reviewer remark “My review is voluntary and from the heart”. Ms. Lowe takes a little piece of your heart each time you read one her stories – and leaves you a better person for it!!

**I am voluntarily leaving my honest review of this book**

I am loving this series so far! Love the Hawaiian setting, and love the mixed pack! Dragons, a wolf, a bear, and even a tiger! Love the packs dynamic! Right in the beginning of Lure of the Wolf, the action gets started, Nina has been thrown off a boat and someone is trying to kill her! She manages to be rescued, but she has lost some of her memories! Luckily for her, she was saved by sexy, sweet wolf shifter, Boone. Silas tells Boone to pawn Nina off on the police, but Boone doesn't feel like that's the way to go, so he goes against Silas' orders, and helps Nina figure out her past and who was trying to kill her. Boone and Nina feel a connection with each other, but forces from the past interfere on their happily ever after. I loved all the suspense in this book, and I love, love amnesia stories! The mystery is such fun to discover! Oh man! Boone and Nina have some hot, hot, hot moments! As soon as "outdoor shower" was mentioned, I was like yes, please! Boone is such a sweetheart too! I love the secondary story with jewels, and I'm really interested in what's going to happen when they are all together! I also listen to this on audiobook, and Kelsey Osborne continues to do an amazing job with narration! So excited for the next book in this series!

Swoons and danger

I loved Boone and Nina’s fated mates, human-shifter romance with a side of amnesia. Nina is a human who was hit over the head and thrown off a boat off the coast of Hawaii. She manages to barely swim to shore where she is found by Boone. Boone is a wolf shifter who just recently retired from special forces. He lives in Hawaii with his four shifter brothers in arms. Nina can remember her first name and that someone tried to kill her, but nothing else. Boone and Nina have instant and overwhelming chemistry and attraction but starting a relationship in the midst of danger, amnesia, and uncertainty plus a group aversion to human mates makes things complicated if not impossible. To get to their HEA, they will have to restore Nina’s memory, find out who tried to kill her, keep her safe from evil actors and deal with their painful pasts. The story was well written and included witty dialogue, three dimensional characters, and an engaging storyline woven into good world building as shown through sweet moments, steamy scenes, fighting, dangerous situations, shifter physiology and cultures, evil actors, henchmen, loyal friends and family, tragic back stories, mystery, revelations, plot twists, big feels, and laughs.

The second book of this series was fantastic. You don't have to read the first one in order to follow along, but I would recommend it. The stories follow along the time line and include characters from the previous books.

Nina is washed up on the beach near Boone's home. She doesn't seem to remember what happened to cause her to be in the water, and only knows her first name. Boone, a wolf shifter, immediately feels a connection to the half-drowned waif.

You will be astonished at the revelations about how Nina came to be in Hawaii, and what treasure she will bring to the table. Old enemies will soon show up to try and claim her, and Boone's ex-girlfriend will slither in and try to cause trouble. Nina will get some surprises as she learns to trust these close-knit ex-military men, perhaps the biggest of these will be that she wants to stay forever.

Hunter's story will be next. You will know who his heart yearns for and wonder how the heck that is ever going to work out. Kai and Tessa will make an appearance at the end and the pack/clan/weyr will begin to resemble a family.

I received a copy of this book from the author. My review is voluntary and from the heart.

Once again Anna Lowe has hit it out of the park with this book. I have loved everything I have read by her from Twin Moon Ranch, Blue Moon Salon, Love in Vegas, and even the Tropical getaways. Here you have not only shifters, but they are in a gorgeous locale as well.

Book starts off with Nina getting thrown from a ship, and as she manages to rescue herself, Boone finds her washed up on the beach. As she comes too, she discovers she can't remember anything. Boone has promised her his help, even is Silas tells him to turn her over to the police.

Boone is a wolf with a troubled past. He had thought once he had found his mate, only to have her cheat on him when he is deployed. He doesn't believe in fated mates anymore, so is trying hard to ignore his wolf claiming she is his mate.

Digging into Nina's past brings up some shocking details, but will Boone be able to handle what they learn? If you are a fan of Paranormal Romance or Tropical getaways this is the book for you to read. I received an advanced copy of this book under no obligation to review, but can't help but let folk know this is one to pick up.

STEAMY PASSION-DANGER-HAPPY EVER AFTER

A fast-paced thrilling romantic tale that pulls the reader into the story with suspense, spine-chilling danger, abduction, betrayal, camaraderie, attempted murder, a surprise gift, sizzling sensuous passionate romance and of course a superb happy ever after.

Boone, a wolf shifter has a hot bod and is truly powerful. His intoxicating blue eyes fill will fiery desire when he finds Nina, a sexy beautiful damsel in distress on his private beach. Nina has lost her memory and is being hunted by vicious villains who want to end her life. Boone has sworn to protect Nina against the onslaught of the danger that awaits her.

A fabulously written story that has a cast of terrific characters that come alive with engaging dialogue, picturesque and powerful vivid scene descriptions. Emotional ups and downs occur and happy times too. Boone and Nina’s romance is more than convincing and is filled with much devotion; I absolutely adored them together. If you treasure shifter romance this is a fantastic book for your library. I loved this story so much that {I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy.} Without reservations, I recommend this book.
