Today I received my copy of the Mini Pusheen Coloring Book which I won through Goodreads. What a sweet book with adorable illustrations! This book is just a perfect size to carry along and the 46 tear-out pages are great for sharing with children. I love the use of seasons, celebrations and a good variety of subjects to color. I will recommend this coloring book to my friends!

This is a fun medium-difficulty coloring book! It is perfect for cat lovers, and for those who like to color cute pictures! It has kept me coloring for months!

I loveee this colouring book. It's great for the uncoordinated person(s) like me. I struggle to stay in fine lines with my selection of colouring pencils so the fat drawings here are excellent and the lines are very thick too.

Everything is just so easy to colour in this book and I don't give up on it like I have on others because the designs are so intricate. I really love this one. Plus, it's Pusheen and I love her!

5 stars and a definite recommend.

Very nice, just a bit repetitive.
It could have some different drawings, it was too many of the same mermaids and dinosaurs.

I love this coloring book! It's adult yet also simple enough to spark creativity. My only criticism is how some spaces are filled with black but otherwise I love it!

Check out this and other reviews on my young adult book blog, Here's to Happy Endings!

I love cute things…and I’ll admit it, looking at Pusheen related things always makes me happy, no matter what kind of day I’m having. So when I saw that there was a Pusheen coloring book, I kind of went nuts…I had to have the book, and I’m so glad that I have the chance to review it, so a huge thank you to Touchstone for the opportunity!

When I picked up the Pusheen Coloring Book, I was drawn to the pastel colored cover with plenty of Pusheen cats all over it. Purple Pusheens, Pusheens eating ice cream, shooting stars…I mean, look at that. It’s the epitome of cute.

The inside pages are exactly what you would expect – Pusheens in random drawings (Pusheen mermaids, Pusheen eating noodles, Pusheen celebrating the various seasons…like I said, probably one of the most adorable coloring books that I have ever seen) that will make your heart melt and be sure to cheer you up!

Along with all kinds of cute scenes, the bright white paper is of a pretty decent thickness, meaning that you can more or less go crazy with layering colored pencils and blending your colors without having to worry about putting any kinds of dents in the other side of the paper. With some coloring books, the paper is thin, and if you press down too hard with your colored pencils, it makes the other side of the page look a little banged up, but that’s not the case here, to no worries!

used Prismacolor Colored Pencils for the coloring that I did in this book, because the drawings are on both sides of the paper and since I love this book so much, I didn’t really want to take the chance at ruining it. I’m not sure if gel pens would bleed through, but they would almost definitely create a shadow on the other side of the page, and markers would definitely bleed through the paper, no questions asked. So I stuck with what I knew wouldn’t ruin the illustrations.

While several of the designs span across multiple pages, most are only on one, and none of them run into the binding of the book. I really hate when coloring book images go into the binding, because it makes it difficult, if not impossible, for you to color the image fully. Luckily, if you’re looking for a coloring book that doesn’t have this issue, the Pusheen Coloring Book is a great choice.

Another noteworthy thing about this coloring book is the style of the drawings. There aren’t any overly intricate designs here, making it an incredibly stress free coloring book – you don’t have to worry about filling in all the tiny little details as you do with some coloring books – this book would even be perfect for crayons. The heavy black lines that the images are drawn in give it a different look, a playful one even, and it’s definitely what you’re used to when you think about Pusheen.

If you have a cat lover in your life, or you are looking for a cute and fun coloring book, the Pusheen Coloring Book is definitely not to be missed.
Even if you aren’t really up for using fine point colored pencils or aren’t in the mood for doing heavy color layering or blending, you can’t go wrong with the fun feeling that this book has to offer. It might not be an “artist’s coloring book,” but a lot of work has definitely gone into it to make it such a beautifully illustrated book, and it certainly is perfect for those afternoons when you are feeling overwhelmed and need a bit of a cute pick-me-up!

The below review is from my blog, see the full review and flip through video here - https://thecoloringaddict.com/2016/12...

I must admit I’m apparently old now (or live under a rock, which is probably also true) since I had to Google for who this Pusheen kitty is exactly (here, I did it for you, click). But anyway, this book is all about Pusheen and then some more. It’s full of fun kitty images, some a bit more detailed, some less but in general it’s not a fiddly book by any means.
The paper is nice, will work with markers as well, I’m sure. Though alcohol-based markers will bleed through as is their way so take that into consideration.
Maybe the only con is that the binding seems a little too stiff, I haven’t tried bending the living daylights out of it since it is meant for my daughter for Christmas (yes, she knows, she asked for this), would be an awkward conversation as to how Santa got her book banged up…
Anyway I’m sure this would be loved by the Pusheen fans near and far.
Overall, a fun book with loads of different images of Pusheen, if you’re a fan, this should be right up your alley.

Some pages have pixelated Pusheens that were obviously enlarged far too much for the surrounding images. Otherwise, one of my favorite coloring books!

This book is so cute and fun to color. It is very hard to stay in a bad mood when coloring such a cute book.
