This is book 10 in the Zodiac Shifters series. I have not read ANY of the others, but I really want to go back and read them now! I have read the Warriors of Lemuria series, and these books tie in with those. And I loved those 😊

But short!! So short, I wanted more, I know I always want more, but it took me less than an hour to read this one, and I needed my Lemuria fix, and I was left wanting.

I loved how Aramond and Danae's past draws them back together. How Aramond's daughter, Aramie, and Demir, Alpha to his kind play a part here. LOVE that Aramie is still putting Demir in his place!

I liked Danae, and her strength, from what happened before when she was forced mated in front of her father. But I was left wanting to know what happened after that, but before that male was killed along with her father. I was left a little "tell me, tell me" shouting at the kindle!

I loved that, some 600 years later, Aramond's love for Danae had not diminished any, indeed, it had grown stronger but he didn't realize till faced with the possibility she would reject him.

I love this world and the beings that inhabit it, and I really want those other books!

Time seemed to slow. This encounter will change my life…one way or another. He was dangerous in an exciting, primal way. She was forever imprinted in his memory. Sugar and spice and everything nice. Indeed. What a FANGTASTIC story! I was blown away by just how PAWESOME every little aspect of it is!! It's a fairly quick read, but don't let that fool you! There is plenty of story, lots of action & romance and even a couple of fights too! With the vivid, lush descriptions, I truly felt like I could see, hear & feel everything just like the characters do! Rosalie has this way of telling her story that just brings it to life around you! And those panther shifters - pardon me, Panthera - are so magical, so powerful, so cool and COMPLETELY FURRIFIC!! Everything they can do, how they shift, their traits, the "Panthera Way" of how mates, newcomers and just how the Pride is run. I was instantly captivated with Danae, wanting to understand her & her fears, and it sure didn't take long before I was connected with her, totally living the story as her! Then along comes Aramond... *dreamy sigh* Oh he had me smitten from the start and I couldn't see how Danae was going to resist me! But she did...until she didn't! LOL I like to think I helped influence her to trust Aramond. wink With Rosalie's captivating storytelling, wholly unique Pantheras, multifaceted characters and her enriched, detailed descriptions, my attention was immediately grabbed & pounced upon, and wasn't released until I reached 'The End'!! In fact, I was so intrigued & fascinated with the story and Rosalie's phenomenal talent, genuine gift and mad writing skills, I am now more eager than ever before to read ALL of her books as soon as possible!! (I can't believe I have waited this long!! *kicks self*)

MARKED BY LOVE is part of the Zodiac Shifters and also the World of Lemuria. We met Aramond in Aramie and Demir's story when we found out that he is Aramie's father, but was kicked out by her mother before he even knew she was pregnant. In this novella we learn more about his past, and exactly what happened from both sides, with Danae and Aramond in the past.

Now, I don't usually give out 5-stars for a novella. Usually, even if the story is excellent, I still end up wanting more. With MARKED BY LOVE though, I didn't get that feeling. Perhaps it is because I love the World of Lemuria and felt like I was already immersed in their world when I started reading this, I don't know. All I do know is that when I finished this novella, it felt complete. I wasn't left wanting in any way and was left instead with a feeling of satisfaction. Danae and Aramond's story is very well told, drawing you in and making you want them to be happy.

Being exceptionally written, with no editing or grammatical errors to disrupt the reading flow that I noticed, this is a wonderful addition to both series. Absolutely recommended by me.

Marked by Love (Zodiac Shifters #10: Taurus) by Rosalie Redd is the tenth installment in an anthology series written by multiple authors. I haven't read any of the other books yet but you don't necessarily need to to get into this gripping paranormal romance.

Even though this wasn't a very long book, more a novella or short really, Rosalie Redd was able to make the heroine Denae so real and well-rounded, she was a real person with real conflicts. It's hard to get really good character development in short books but Rosalie Redd really did an amazing job with Denae and her love Aramond.

I loved how loyal Aramond was, still wanting her after so long. I hope to read more by Rosalie Redd, she made me fall in love with Danae and Aramond!

Ms. Redd has done it again! I was hooked from the start & did not want to put it down whenever I had to :o lol ... Marked By Love: Taurus is a fantastic addition to the Zodiac Shifters series! This page-turner has a totally unique storyline, great descriptions and witty dialogue with real-to-life characters that are relatable. Even tho this is PNR fiction, there are so many factors that will engage any fan of fiction no matter their usual favorite genre :D With twists & turns, action, suspense and smoking hot romance, this must read has it all! I volunteered to read this without any outside influences & these are my honest opinions. I highly recommend this & any book by this talented author.

Danae was doing a reading from her tarot cards for elderly Amelia. What she was seeing was not good – rough times were coming for Amelia. When Amelia left, Lamont came downstairs. He was coming by her home/safe house more and more often and she was not pleased. He stood too close and touched her hair, all to leave a scent. She pulled her knife and pointed to the house rules about no touching. If they didn’t need so many warriors against their enemy, the Gossum, she would kill him. It still may come to that.

Aramond moved through the trees, sniffing out Gossum. As he cornered one, another slipped out of the trees. He wasn’t worried. He had no mate to mourn him. The woman he loved had mated another, but he still thought of Danae.

Aramond killed one of the Gossum, but the second one ran off. It ended up running toward Danae who had gone for a run in her panthera form. She threw her knife but missed; however, a panthera male attacked the Gossum who once again ran off. But Danae knew his scent, even after 600 years. Her father had told her he was dead! When the Gossum distracted Aramond, she used that moment to escape into the forest, cross the water, and hide her trail. Will the two be able to bury the pain and scars of the past? Will they be able to start a new life together? Or will Lamont interfere and force her into a mating she does not want?

This was an excellent book! The story line was well paced and suspenseful. The characters were expertly developed and drew the reader in. I thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend it to others!

Marked By Love happens to be the first book I have read by Rosalie Redd. She happens to be a "new to me" author and I all I have to say is...WHY HAVEN'T I READ HER BOOKS BEFORE! Even though Marked By Love is a novella in the Zodiac Shifters series, I am immensely impressed and DEVOURED this novella in such an AMAZINGLY short amount of time because I got completely lost in the story!

This particular paranormal romance was beyond satisfying and sexy, magical, AMAZING, and an absolute well told story with such fantastic characters and a seriously fantastic plot! Danae and Aramond are wonderful characters and as a couple..THEY SIZZLED on the pages. I enjoyed the action, the passion, the lip-biting romance. Even the enemies and the descriptions of everything in between was intriguing. I could get a clear picture of the places, the pantera, the Gossum...everything and I was downright in AWE of it. It was no wonder I lost track of time and just got sucked in. I am HOOKED on Miss Redd's writing now and want to get my hands on all her previous books because she KNOWS how to weave a hell of a great story!

Marked By Love gets a SINFULLY AMAZING FIVE SHOOTING STARS! Once you pick this up, you will see why I am mooning over it and will DEMAND more books. An absolute stunner!

He will however do everything in his power to convince her of the love he has always had for her and that he would never do anything against her will.

Panthera Princess Danae was horrifically mated to a cruel Panthera by her father 100's of years ago at the age of 15 and informed that the man she thought she would mate was dead. This has made her very suspicious of any male that she encounters. So much so, that she can't accept, or trust the only man she has ever loved. Will she give in to the desires denied a 15 year old, or will she forever live wondering what her life could be like in the arms of the man she loves.

This is an exceptionally well edited story which lies in two worlds--that of the Zodiac Shifters and the author's own Lemuria tales, and it fills an important niche in the latter series. However, if this is the only book in the series which you read, you won't be filled in on some of this background which, although of interest, it is not pertinent to the story of a woman striving to overcome abuse at the hands of her once-beloved father and of the man who mates her forcibly. That tale transcends race or species, delving into how one can focus on inner strength to overcome victimhood; however, all is not gloom and doom. This is, after all, a[n] HEA ("Happily Ever After")--AND there are cookies!

Interesting take on shifters--panthers-from-space (Although, this book doesn't touch on how that ties into the bigger picture. She was born on this other planet? (?) How does this space travel work? Anyway, this book is all about Aramond and Danae, not the minutia of the deeper theme. It's just a taste. Big tease.)

I don't want to be too harsh, I enjoyed the book and could follow along with the basis of the story despite jumping in at book 10. I found the romance between Aramond and Danae very sweet, although I question Aramond 's dedication since he didn't have the stones to look for Danae for 600+ years. He had to randomly stumble into her before he remembered how much he loved her. Oups.

There was a lovely happy ending and I liked the two pronged 'danger' building to the end. A short, quick read that is fun and left me feeling happy. What more can you ask for? :D

I love second chance at love stories, so I loved that! And then you add in shifters, and I'm totally on board! This was the first book that I've read by Rosalie Redd, and it seems like some of the characters may have been from previous books, but I didn't feel lost with the story, so this can be read as a standalone, but I do want to read the previous books because I really enjoyed this one! Aramond is a panther shifter, who hunts down some bad guys, when he goes to a safe house he comes across Danae, she is someone from his past that Aramond wanted for his mate, but some outside forces interfered, and they lost touch. Aramond and Danae reconnect, but when outside forces try to come between them again, they'll really need to fight to survive. The romance is really sweet, and I enjoyed the backstory between the two. I also liked the action; it was entertaining. I like the feel of the world that Rosalie Redd has created, and I'm looking forward to checking out some more of her books!

Rogue shifter Aramond still longs for Danae and lives his life alone in a Pride of one. Then he finds her again, but he’s not the only male who wants her…
Aramond and Danae have led rough lives, but it’s made them strong and resourceful. Despite her hesitation to trust and his fear of rejection, they had great chemistry. I liked them both very much.
It was great to see Aramie and Demir again, Aramond’s daughter and son-in-law.
I love Ms. Redd’s world building and writing style, but her use of commas does take getting used to. It’s probably just an Aussie English style that I’m unaccustomed to. Anyway, I’ll be reading the next book soon.

I enjoyed this story of two people that find a second chance at love. It is a well-written story with lots of action and a great romance..Both of them have been lonely and had great pain because of the action of others. She tries to protect herself from another bad mating but he calls to her heart. He just wants to keep her safe and have a chance to give her the love she deserves. I highly recommend the other books by the author that share the storyline. You can read each as a standalone but it is a great series.

I was so excited to see Aramond had his book and it didn't disappoint. Aramond and Danae have such a sad beginning but they finally get their HEA! You see how both suffered and changed because of it and then how they helped each other and came together again. A fast paced read and it can be a standalone but reading the rest of the World of Lemuria stories is a great plus. Some characters from the series make a quick appearance. I highly recommend this book and series.

This is my first book by Rosalie Redd, but it certainly won't be my last! She had me embroiled in this story from the get-go. Ms. Redd's writing brings out the entire spectrum of emotions.
Aramond and Danae have both had struggles in their lives since they were forcibly separated so young. Can old scars heal enough for them to have a future?
If you like Romantic, Paranormal, Suspenseful, and/or Passionate stories, you'll get it all with this book! I highly recommend reading it.

This is Aramond and Danae's story . This story is action packed with drama , twists , turns and hot love ! Aramond is fight with Gossum while he fought one the other took off running into Danae she just knows her death is near when another panthera shows up and takes it on ! This starts off fast paced and keeps going until the very end ! I will be reading more of Rosalie Redd !

This is the first book I've read by this author. Loved it so much I went chasing the others from her Lemuria series. Have been plowing through them. The world creation, character development and writing are very interesting, relatable, and different. I loved the second chance romance in this book and the tortured past healed concept. This story sucks you in and keeps you there for the duration. Well worth the read.

One of the most frustrating things about this story was the MC's name "Aramond". Not the actual name, but for some reason if it started a sentence the sentence would read 'A ramond' and continue. It was very confusing and I kept trying to figure out what a ramond was supposed to be.

Another fantastic Zodiac Shifter story. This is Taurus.
In this story, we have Danae who runs a place for warriors who need a safe place of rest while they are continuing their battle against the Gossum which are some ugly slimy creatures who are taking humans and turning them to strengthen their fight.

Danae is a very strong willed panter shifter who has led life her way. She was attacked and mated once upon a time, and now that mate is dead. She doesn't want a mate, she doesn't want to be forced but enter one very sexy alpha male Aramond. She runs her life and is determined she doesn't want a male in it. Not so easy when she has them staying at her place. Some don't care about her rules such as Lamont.

Aramond has always lived the solo life. He prefers to keep himself in battle against the Gossum. He won't join the pride as it's run by his daughter's mate. But he won't just stand on the sidelines. What is going to happen now with Danae in the picture? His heart was hardened once, but maybe he doesn't know the whole story?

Can this couple heal the wounds caused by others so long ago?
Can these two find a way to each other and over come their pasts?

Fantastic story and I would recommend it if you love shifters stories with strong alpha males and even more powerful females.

After forced into a mating, Danae will never depend on anyone, let alone trust a man. Being out alone has a downside, especially when certain males get ideas about being a lone female. Running a safehouse for rogue warriors, she never thought she would see the man she fell for as a young woman. Aramond on patrol for the enemy get injured and seeks out the safehouse has heard about in the area. Completely surprised to whom is there, he meets the woman that he always thought he would be mated to. With Danae's lack of trust and Aramonds knowing she is mated to another, can they let things go or will they have to walk away due to their feelings?
Such a good story to add to the tale of the Panthers. When Aramond was introduced in the previous book, I was hoping the author would tell his story. I liked how the story was short, sweet and to the point. No need for a detailed history when it came from the other book. I totally dig how independent and strong Danae is and how Aramond had to chip away at her walls. Looking forward to more of the continuing story! This is a five star read for me.

Panthera shifter Danae runs a safe house for warriors in need of a place to rest their heads after battling the Gossum. Strong willed and vibratnt character, who has a sorted past. Tucked away and out of sight, Danae hopes to never have to open old wounds. That is until the past arrives on her doorstep. Aramond, a rogue warrior tangles with Gossum, with no mate it doesn't matter. Until a Gossum goes after his long lost love. After all this time, will Danae and Aramond find love again or will the past come to haunt them? An entertaining read and a great addition to the Zodiac Shifters collection. First I will be honest and admit that this book contains many of my personal favorites. It's a PNR ( of course), it makes references to Taurus and its traits, and.....panthers!!!! Needless to say, hooked like lightning! Without seeming too bias, these characters in this book just oozed romance, or in some scenarios appropriately the lack thereof. This storyline touches on the effects of a forced mating and how it can alter the life of many. So many elements in this tie together beautifully to create this PNR beauty. An easy five star rating from me, and I am delighted that I have added this book to my collection!
