I read this to give me additional ideas on what my grand daughter might like to do during the days she spends with grandma. We read books ten times a day but I wanted to get her playing more and discovering the world around her, and being more aware of herself. I got lots of ideas and look forward to next week when we can start to discover the texture of different types of paper, use body paints, play shoe store, spider in the web, sticker fun, streamer parade and so much more. Grandma's little girl will be busy.

Read this book if you want to know more about stimulating babies. I never knew that usual interaction, as simple as they are, could be the best learning experience.

I thought this would offer more ideas than wiggling your fingers and playing peek-a-boo, etc., for the beginning age, but I guess there really aren't too many things you can do with a baby who is still figuring out hands (and not yet that they belong to him).
