A sexy new shifter romance from New York Times Bestselling Author Anne Marsh...
Book 4: The Breed MC - LONE WOLF
I don’t play well with other wolves. The pack needs muscle, and I provide it as their enforcer. My biker name is Gator - after the alligator that chewed my face up. Sure I can make a woman scream with pleasure, but the scars on my face? That’s truth in advertising right there. There’s not an ounce of pretty in me. I fight, I ride—and I do it alone. So chasing the gorgeous marine biologist who wanders into my bayou hunting for wolves is not my smartest move. She’s Beauty. I’m the Beast. That story’s already been told and life’s fresh out of happy endings.
Lone Wolf is a sexy standalone werewolf shifter romance with more than its fair share of humor, dirty sex, and alpha males who fall in love hard.

Anne Marsh is a sucker for a grumpy hero who falls hard, a sunshine heroine who won't back down, and small towns where everyone knows your business (but shows up with casseroles anyway).
A New York Times and USA Today bestselling author with 30+ romance novels, Anne writes contemporary and paranormal stories full of banter, steam, heroines navigating real challenges (chronic illness, anxiety, all the messy parts of being human), and happily-ever-afters you can believe in.
Perfect for fans of Ali Hazelwood, Talia Hibbert, and Olivia Dade.
Anne lives in rural North Carolina with rescue cats who barely tolerate her and neighbors who are real-life heroes—fixing cars, hauling mulch, pulling you out of ditches without even being asked. Her books are love letters to small-town kindness and big-hearted romance.
COMING SOON: Hot for Preacher (Harlequin Afterglow) - February 24, 2026 Grumpy preacher. Sunshine country singer living with rheumatoid arthritis. Second chances. Small-town meddling. So. Much. Heat.
I enjoyed this audiobook even though I had some issues with the story telling . The biker werewolves were fun and the narrators did a great job bringing these characters to life, and as someone who hates the pregnancy trope I didn’t mind it in this story since it was disclosed as a plot point in chapter one. There were a few things that bothered me and took away from the story. First off, how easily the FMC forgave the MMC for GUTTING HER ENTIRE RESARCH PROGRAM! Maybe this hits closer to home since I’m a research scientist, but holy hell I would never forgive someone if they did that, and certainly not over a 5 minute conversation. Also, the FMC is described as “strong” but never makes decisions from a position of strength ever in the entire book, so it the description didn’t match the action. Putting these issues aside, it was still a fun read.

Gator's story couldn't be any better. Poppy is perfect for him. Everything you thought Gator would bring to his relationship is there. What makes its perfect is Poppy has her own issues. There are some surprises thrown in just to keep everyone on their toes. The epilogue is perfect. You just got to love Fang. I'm so glad his book is next. Anne Marsh you never disappoint. I received an ARC from the author. This is my honest voluntary review
Gator and Poppy story was awesome . She tamed him somewhat . I was hoping he would help with her research not sabotage it. The pregnancy that was unexpected. I can't wait to read Fangs story. Keep the M C Breed coming.
Am I wrong or am I the only one that realizes that Fang was killed in Wolfs Property (I think it was) Marly shot Fang and killed him so how can he be in the past 2 books and have his own story coming out in Bad Wolf? This REALLY bothers me.....However this story was very good!
This book was a good book. I didn't care for it as much as the previous books. It just seemed to be missing something. Perhaps some action or suspense.
Lone Wolf had a mix of everything, suspense, action and of course romance. I enjoyed going on this ride with Gator and Poppy. These two are complex but perfect for one another.
