Historical romance author Samantha Grace discovered the appeal of a great love story when she was just a young girl, thanks to Disney's Robin Hood. She didn't care that Robin Hood and Maid Marian were cartoon animals. It was her first happily-ever-after experience and she didn't want the warm fuzzies to end. Now Samantha enjoys creating her own happy-endings for characters that spring from her imagination. Publisher's Weekly describes her stories as "fresh and romantic" with subtle humor and charm. Samantha describes romance writing as the best job ever.

Part-time medical social worker, moonlighting author, and pilates nut, she enjoys a happy and hectic life with her real life hero and two kids in the Midwest.

Review For: A Lady to Remember 'A Lady to Remember' by Samantha Grace is book Two in the "Drayton Theatre Production" series. This is the story of Adele and Marcus. I have not yet read the previous book so for me this was a standalone book. This story does start with Adele and Marcus engaged already but this story moved forward where that was and issue for me. Adele has been staying and traveling with her brother and his lady interest of the moment we learn in this book. Adele and Marcus are at a party where they see her brother seem to be getting into trouble. When in another moment Adele is taking by her brother to up and leave the party. But not before something shocking happens to Marcus that is her brother's fault. Now Adele has been trying to make amends and help Marcus but will Marcus ever forgive the wrong that was done to him? I truly enjoy Ms. Grace's books...so this was a easy read that once I started I couldn't put down. I liked Adele's brothers and hope to see future stories of them too!"My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read."https://www.amazon.com/gp/profile/A2H... https://www.facebook.com/RomanceBookR... https://twitter.com/soapsrus68https:/... https://www.tumblr.com/blog/romancebo...

Samantha Grace writes wonderfully compelling stories and characters. This newest addition to the Drayton Theatre Production series is no exception to that.

Marcus and Adele have both had hard lives and families (except for Adele's brothers) that neither loved them nor treated them well. However, both of them have turned out to be loving and forgiving people who have much to offer each other and the world. Circumstances makes it very hard for Marcus to forgive what he believes Adele and her brother have done - until he learns the whole truth.

I love reading historical romances (particularly Regency) but I am so grateful that I can read about it as a voyeur rather than actually living in it. I know we have bad parents today, but it seems that back then children (and wives) were just chattel good only to further the aims of the dominant male. We have prime examples of that in both Adele's and Marcus' fathers. Of course, Adele's step-mother is no Snow White either.

All of the characters were full-blown and well developed. I especially liked ALL of Adele's brothers, but I particularly liked Harry. He had the biggest heart and sacrificed so much to see his sister safe and cared for - only to end up causing her heartache and pain. I truly hope he gets a very happy-ever-after book in this series.

What didn't I like -- well -- not much! I would have really liked to see Marcus' father get a real comeuppance instead of the little rap-on-the-knuckles that he got. I'll also look forward to future books and seeing Millicent get her just desserts as well. Another thing I would have loved to see is an epilogue (I think there should be a law that all romance books have epilogues). I'd love to check in on Adele and Marcus a year or so down the road to see that they are expecting and happy and that Marcus' father fell into a deep well or something.

All in all, it is a really sweet book to read and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

This is a suspense filled, dramatic and romantic story. Marcus and Adele have enemies on all sides, including themselves. They let outside influences derail their marriage, and Marcus cops an attitude. Millicent is the quintessential evil stepmother. And Sampson Fletcher us a real prize too. But still Marcus and Adele end up being sweet, kind and loving people. It's a captivating story.

A Lady to Remember by Samantha Grace is a delightful addition to the "Drayton Theatre", while book 2 in the series, it can be read as a stand alone.

This is the story of Lady Adele Sinclair and Marcus Fletcher. This story begins its journey in the city of love, Paris, France and completes the journey in England. Paris is where Marcus and Adele fall hopelessly in love and become engaged. Unforeseen circumstances tear them apart, namely Adele's brother's carelessness, which causes unforseen consequences for Marcus.

Fast paced, well developed characters, who are engaging, realistic, and captured my heart from the beginning. The plot is not only captivating, but entertaining with a bit of mystery and intrigue. The secondary characters deserve a book of their own, hopefully in the future. While, some I would dearly like to see get their comeuppance, others, deserve to find their HEA.
Marcus endures a lot while in Paris, will he be able to forgive Adele for what he perceives as her betrayal? Or will Marcus and Adele finally find their HEA? Will Marcus be able to forgive Adele's brother, and move forward to a future with Adele? There are some intense moments in "A Lady to Remember", twists and turns and a few surprises along the way. I was truly astounded when some of the mystery was revealed, but satisfied with the outcome. Blindsided me, entirely. Bravo, Ms. Grace!

Ms. Grace brought Adele and Marcus' story to a satisfying conclusion. I would have loved an epilogue, but that is just my opinion, of course.

Highly recommended to fans of mystery, drama, Historical romance and the mysteries of true love. I was not disappointed at all in this story, in fact I was delighted with the characters, the plot and the ending. Can't wait to read more of this intriguing series! A must read Historical Romance!

An enjoyable tale about love and trust lost and regained. Sensitively written (I was moved to tears in places) with interesting characters. However there were a number of editing issues that caused me to deduct a star.

Lady Adele is the daughter of a Duke who has abandoned and disowned her and his heir her brother Harry. Living in Paris she meets Marcus Fletcher and get engaged, life couldn't get any better for the couple, until her brothers rash actions have unforeseen developments for the couple. Accused of being a thief Marcus is sent to prison and although Adele tries to pay (but fails )the bail money he's left there. Adele and her brother are in danger and must flee France with the promise of returning for him.

Marcus has been betrayed that's all he can think of .....the woman that he loves betrayed him , left him to rot in prison without a thought of the love they shared. Back in England he vows not to seek her out and brakes the engagement . He spends his time at the Drayton Theatre trying to forget her.
Forgetting her doesn't come easy especially when she shows up and demands he do right by her and honour the agreement. How can he trust her after she betrayed him? Will she always put her brother first instead of him?

Samantha Grace has a flair for bringing troubled lovers together. The journey that Adele goes through to raise money for him is quite touching, her brother sacrifices himself for her but is viewed as a villain by Marcus and that brings them at odds. Adele doesn't want to loose either one but an accident puts Harry's life in danger and Adele must choose. Who will pay the ultimate price? Can Marcus forgive and forget? Or is it to late for A Lady to Remember.

Another good book by Samantha Grace.

Marcus and Adele both have had fathers who didn't care about them. But when they found each other they thought everything had changed for them. A mistake that Adele's brother made came between them and parted but a year later they came back to each other but it took a while for Marcus to forgive Adele's brother who caused the trouble in the first place. Marcus for give's her brother and all ends well.

Just a couple of days before they were to be married, Marcus Fletcher and Lady Adele Sinclair attended a party with her brother. Harry stole a necklace from the hostess (with whom he was having a liaison. He panicked and slipped it into Marcus’s pocket, resulting in Marcus being arrested for a crime he did not commit. He was kept in jail for months, believing he had been betrayed by Adele and her brother. In truth, they were trying to raise the money for Marcus’s release. Adele wrote him let him know what they were doing, but he was not given the letter or any of the others she sent. Months later they meet again in London. A lot stands between them. Can they regain the trust they had before and be together as they had planned? Will Marcus be able to forgive Harry when he knows the whole story?

The characters in this story are well developed and realistic. They capture your heart and keep you pulling for them from beginning to end (well, maybe not Sampson and Millicent). Marcus and Adele are good together and endure a lot to be together. Adele’s brothers are fantastic. They each deserve their own story. Russell and Claudine are back and are more than willing to help Marcus and Adele find their way back to happily ever after.

I received an advanced copy of this book. The review was voluntary.

I know I have a good book on my hands when I pick it up and finish it in one setting. A Lady to Remember by Samantha Grace is one of those realllllly good books that was impossible to put down.

Lady Adele Sinclair is one of those characters that I bonded with quickly. This lady has not had an easy life. Life throws her another obstacles just when she thought everything was going well and she had found the love of her life.

So once again Lady Adele and her brother set off on their own. It's time for Adele's brother to find a different way of paying the rent and this time Adele finds a way to help too. It's a whole lot less dangerous than how her brother Harry was keeping them fed and a roof over the their head. Oh my... that boy was living dangerously. I have to admit I wasn't fond of Harry to start with. I didn't agree with some of his ways but the more I read I think he truly was just doing what he had to do to take care of his sister.

Marcus Fletcher is caught up in something that is not his fault. He is parted from his lovely lady Adele and a lot is kept from him. I felt so sorry for Marcus. This guy is punished for something he didn't do and then is left out of the loop and has no idea why his beloved isn't there.

I could go on and on about this book. I truly was captivated and could not turn the pages fast enough. I don't want to tell you too much though because you will want to enjoy each of the emotions as I did, while you read.

One of my favorite scenes is when Adele and Marcus run into each other in the theater. What an incredible surprise for both of them. Their reactions and the reactions of those around them are just are perfect. It was an interesting twist to the story. There is so much these two have to work though and so many misunderstandings that have to be reveled. If they are going to get their happily ever after it's not going to be an easy task that is for sure.

There is a mystery in this book that I have a feeling may play out to be more than expected at this time. I am so anxious for the next book in this series to see what Ms. Grace has in story for us very lucky readers.

This is the second book in the Drayton Theatre Production series. I found that it stood on it's own just fine though. I haven't had a chance to read the first book in the series but after reading this one I sure would like to. I didn't feel like I was missing any information that distracted my enjoyment of the story at all.

Overall I was completely captivated by the story line. The characters are charming, charismatic, and easy to bond with. I always enjoy Samantha Grace's writing style. She has a nice smooth writing voice that makes the story just flow. The drama and suspense kept me on the edge of my seat and the romance was heart breaking and then heart melting.

I was given the opportunity to read this fabulous story and it has been my great pleasure to share my thoughts with you.
