Cristian Mădălin Dragomir is the author of several well-known web novels as well as several bestselling books on Amazon.

Currently, Cristian Mădălin Dragomir plans on pursuing a career as a counselor for artists with the intent to help those who feel like they are stuck in their path.

Now for a bit of a life story:

Cristian Mădălin Dragomir was born in Romania in 1989 and has seen the country go through its transition from Communism to Democracy. The behavior, mentality, and expression of the people around him being what has changed the most or, in some cases, not at all. He was never involved in the political struggles in his country, seeing their change and evolution more from an observer perspective.

In 2007, he learned that he had Hepatitis B, with a high possibility of him being infected from a recent dentist visit. Later, it was confirmed that it was a rare case of Hepatitis B with a wild strain of Hepatitis D, which at that time was described as having no potential method of treatment or cure. The fear of infecting others kept him from properly socializing, then the medication pushed him into depression. All this while going through the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, following an Aerospace Engineering degree.

His mental health deteriorated even more when he had to go through Interferon Alpha treatment in 2012 all through 2013 and 2014 with most of his time being a struggle against suicidal thoughts caused by three different forms of depression: Emotional (as a result of his troubled perspective on the world), Spiritual (as a result of his lack of connection with God and the divine), and Chemical (as a result of the treatment). Friends and family helped him push through even the most critical and dire moments.

In 2012 he also began writing in the English language after failing to be recognized as a writer by the Printing Houses in Romania. This also proved to be a form of self-therapy as it helped him get through the more physically painful and mentally anguishing moments caused by the Interferon treatment.

The Soul Mate of a Demon Queen was the first book he published in the English Language in the format of a short story, which was later changed and rewritten in a full novel format. This book was published on Amazon. It was then followed by The Rise of the Werewolf, The Memories of an Ask’odar and then the first two volumes of the novella series The Kyoran Dream. They did not do so great.

He was freed of the chemical induced depression in 2015, and both the spiritual and emotional ones were taking a turn for the better, which prompted him to try his hand at writing more as well as be more open minded in general.

In 2015 he started a blog on which he wrote the first chapters of the I was reincarnated as a Magic Academy! web novel, inspired by the brave attitude of other writers who started to post overseas in this format. Later, in October, the blog was discovered by a web novel translator and with a single helpful post from them managed to gain awareness on the internet.

In 2016, he published the e-book version for the I was reincarnated as a Magic Academy! and then in the following year 100 Luck and the Dragon Tamer Skill!

In 2017 he started working with the developers of Tiny Trinket on a game. He was in charge of character development, story, lore, mission writing, flavor text, basically anything that involved a writer, but the workload changed as the game itself switched from one form to another. Although this adventure began with a lot of hype and hope for an awesome collaboration, the amount of writing he had to do was stressful. Unfortunately, he was unable to convey this fact properly to his team members.

In 2018, seeing his workload continuing to grow, he did an analysis on everything he had to do for the story, lore, and missions’ text and concluded that he had to write at the very least 1 million words if not more. This amount of work coupled with his already growing

I love it! More please...

I love how the characters grow. I like the way the main character has to choose many different things. Way to go with the boss leveling. My favorite part was the generals observations and thoughts particularly when he came back with pink hair and smoking!!

Give it a chance and you'll be pleasantly surprised...

This was a great book. I can't wait until the next volume comes out. It started a little awkward but it did what a great book does. It greatly improved as it went. I loved the epic battle scene. I couldn't put it down for long.

This book was a sleeper. This book is written in a way that is very similar to a light novel. If I were to select a genre this would fall under, it would be action/slice-of-life/Isakai. With that said, we do NOT have the typical LN/Manga main character. THIS one actually has a set and goes after the girl. But I digress, that's not the crux of the story.

The plot goes like this. Earth has been messing up. So to give Earth and all the people on it a chance, a "god like being" (which the god like being has made it a point to let everyone know that it is not God, but a god like being) comes and gives the Earthlings it's 2/3 and final chance to not become intergalactic slaves by proving to the rest of the universe that it can solidify its people into one nation (sans the use of nuclear devices.) The 3rd chance that Earth gets is that 10% of the total population is whisked away to another planet and are told that if they can make a significant impact on the planet. Earth will be saved. The people are then given something like a stat sheet and they are to assign 100 points to their stats. Our hero panics and accidentally gives himself 100% luck. He is also transported to the harshest place to survive as well as the mortal enemies of humans, the Dragon Land (not actual name, just can't remember the name of it right now...writing this at 6:20 in the morning so cut me some slack.) While there after almost dying 10 seconds after getting there (roughly), he stumbles upon a Dragon Knight (wearing practical armor, not WOW Legendary Tier armor that covers only boobs and vajayjay) and the story takes off there. There the female dragon and the main character start to bond, and you also bump into (if you read the book, you'll get that pun) the young dragon's little sister who happens to be a goth Lolita. You also learn about some of the trials and tribulations that all 3 dragons (I did put that this becomes a harem in the shelves tag) go through. This book totally captivated me from beginning to end and I'm looking forward to getting the next book!

Avoided this one for a long time, based on the cutesy title and perceived anime style. I eventually cracked in the search for something different from what I've been reading, and this is the result.

Overall I enjoyed it, although the whole tsundere thing (heaven help me that I even know what that is) is really not my bag, the MC is a bit of a buffoon but isn't a huge tool so it balanced out well enough. Not outstanding, but a decent litRPG read. Jury is still out on if I'll read the next one, but it's better than the "Blessing of 118 Gods" that the author also produced so there's a chance.

Poor translation

I feel dejected at this. As fun as the story may be the text looks like it was pushed through Google Translate and placed in the market. If you don't get the joke, you will like the novel. Wish I could get my money back or someone would go back and fix/clarify the syntax and expression errors. If you are the author or translator reading this, contact a professional native speaker of the target language before you place a novel for sale.

I will try to finish and update this based on plot theme and humor.

An attempt at a romantic comedy!

This story turned out to be a bad attempt at a romantic comedy. When the story started out it had so much great potential but quickly slid into a standard cliché. The biggest reason I gave this such a low rating is because I had different expectation when starting this novel only to find out badly written romantic comedy. I will say if you like cheesy romance comedies and online role-playing games then maybe this story is for you.

A sleeper of an excellent light fantasy.

To the writer: I am also an Amazon fantasy writer and I have been waiting for the longest time for the sequel to this book. When is it coming out? Or is it a one-off story? Personally, IMHO, this book is the best of your stories. But for others, the mileage may vary.

really a 3 star book

but i liked the story enough to give it a higher rating despite all of the spelling errors and poor english in general. The author is apparently Romanian and it shows in the way the characters act & speak and the Romanian culture references that I had to google. but i enjoyed the story and will probably read book 2

Not Bad

The MC is a way overpowered. He gets 25% of the stats of any dragon he bonds with and he happens to have an extraordinary luck stat so he immediately finds 4 powerful dragons to bond with. With very little effort he becomes extremely powerful. What’s more he can just make wishes and the come true.

This book is worth reading but....

This book is worth reading, but just a heads up the author uses the next one as a filler arc to try and milk the story... Wish I had known and I might have skipped reading till these were on Kindle unlimited. Would have given this five stars but I despise useless filler books.

Superb. Could not put it down!

I have been looking for another good read for ages and this ticked all my boxes. Mc is not op compared to his environment. No over embellished sex scenes. Genuine romance! Excellent skill system and loveable characters.

I CANNOT wait to read book 2.

Fun OK romp

As far as litrpg goes this one is middle of the road. The system is there but most of it is vague and not well fleshed out which gives the author a lot of leeway. The story however is fun so far and though hints at harem (doesn't bother me) there is not any romance. Just frustration and unrequited lust and love. I will read more in the series as I enjoyed it.

Fun, cutesy and a different kind of MC hero, one with no real fighting skills and an insane amount of luck. Action, dragons, adventure, unique friendship abilities, dragons, skill improvements, dragons, decent plot, magic and did I mention dragons? Light hearted LitRPG worth reading. Recommended.

Enjoyable

I started the book because it said dragon tamer, and i love dragons, but the plot with the help of the litrpg aspects drew me in not to mention the authors enjoyable comedy, id say give the series a try especially if you love dragons that are good.

Fun

This was definitely a fun read and worth the time for a good distraction. Grammar and spelling we’re good especially for a former Webnovel, and the storyline was interesting and the budding Harem was funny.

Entertaining but bad editing

Fairly standard "transported to a game like world" story where the main character quickly gains power.
It feels like the author probably doesn't speak English as a first language though and must have done his own editing.

Better then most litRPG but not the best

I liked that it was fun and light but the main character also knew when to get serious. Not bad.

Cute and Fun

An irreverent fun romp applying basic comedy harem anime tropes. Well edited and enjoyable. The story has decent depth too, enough for a series. I hope to see more!

Fun

It’s a good read riddled with typos. The story feels like it is just this side of a harem story. The ideas behind the plot and story are fascinating.

Great can’t wait for more

Well fleshed out with quick but not overly rushed character progression. Game mechanics present but not over complicated. Also has good humor .
