Question: What would make Aria Cole's books even better?
Answer: A 10 YEARS LATER EPIC EPILOGUES!
Now, I have read and reviewed each book in this anthology independently and they have all been pretty amazing. The whole thing was pretty awesome!
The stories are HOT and filled the insta-love goodness. To me they were: Classically captivating and fun filled fantasies, that I LOVED AND CHERISHED!
Just the thing I needed to get me out of my current book funk!!!
Thank you Aria Cole!
This was just the therapy I needed to keep me going, and to help remind me that life isn't always perfect but reading about the perfect life can be a great escape! I may need to escape again so I'm going to keep this book! Cause let's face it here, you never know when you're going to need a HEA WITH AN EPIC EPILOGUE!
Safety is perfect with out cheating, OW/OM drama or any of that bad stuff we all hate to see in our fantasies.
I love epilogues. It was great catching up with the characters in these stories. Epilogues are a must and having 10 year later epilogues was such a treat!

A totally modern day twist on four classic fairytales. Each story has its own twist and HEA. So if you're looking for quick sexy reads with a hint of your childhood then I recommend this book.
I believe that this collection of stories have enough "oomph" to stand on their own without the fairy tale theme in their titles and hints throughout their stories. I actually found the fairy tale theme very distracting as I would find myself making comparisons to each fairy tale being "copied" instead of just letting the story play out as it was written. These references didn't serve a purpose in the plot nor how it developed both structurally, and within the characters, both would have held my interest on their own. Overall, great stories worth reading and my advice to enjoy them even further are don't try and find correlations between what you are reading and what you remember of the fairy tales they seem linked too.
4 nicely done of fairytales retelling with modern world setting. It was good. Loved the fact that the author added a bit twist and edges on the story. Quite unpredictable and fascinated on the author's perspective on the fairytale plot. Some are really good and sickeningly sweet, while other might be dragged a bit and too long. Else, it's all ended with HEA. Safe read.
I rated each book individually so just a quick note. The books were okay. Worth the time but nothing to knock your socks off. Some I liked better than others. And without the description there’s no way I’d know these were the retelling of classic fairytales. There aren’t enough similarities to draw a comparison.
A good slow read. I gave it 1 star because the stories all the had the same plot only slight changes to each Lead and Alpha. But nonetheless if your bored and looking for happy smut filled endings this the book for you.
I'm still trying to figure out where all those five star reviews came from. To anyone who maybe thinking about buying this book...don't!!! What did I really expect for 99c though?
I had already read and loved each of these books, so here are my reviews:
Black I really liked this book. I loved the chemistry between the characters and the story line. Very good book and since this is the author's first book, I will be anxiously waiting for the 2nd book.
White I really adored these two. This book had a really good story line, which I appreciated. Asher was just a really great guy...he was protective with a big side of sweet. Eve was tough & caring, so together they were adorable. Loved the instant chemistry with the two of them. There was a little drama, which equals a perfect amount, but not so much that it was over done. Just 2 sweet and adorable virgins....*sigh*. Definitely swoon worthy, which is my favorite kind.
Swan Really enjoyed this book. It was safe and sweet. These 2 were adorable...no beating around the bush and wasting time, met up again after 6 years and were each others first....so sweet *swoon*. Sweet book.
Scarlet These 2 were smoking ass hot...I mean wow. Loved the instant chemistry between these 2. Beau was such a sweetheart but he was not shy at all about what he wanted. Scarlet was very sweet and innocent, she kept trying to avoid him....but that wasn't really an option for him. Her grandma was adorable and I am pretty sure she hand picked Beau for her granddaughter. This was a very neat twist on a fairytale favorite. I really enjoyed this short, sweet & wildly hot insta-love story...great read.
I already read all the stories featured in this collection when they were released on their own, but I had to get this anyways since each story has a new epilogue. I'm a sucker for happily ever afters so I was excited to see what all the couples were up to. The epilogue to Black was my favorite. It makes sense since Black was my favorite out of all the fairytales.
Rated each book on its own (reading order; Black, White, Swan and Scarlet). I thought they all deserved better than a 2-star "it was ok" but a 3-star rating seemed too good. I do believe we all wish for the extra 1/2 star (so 2 1/2-star ratings for White, Swan and Scarlet). I don't think Black was as well written as the other three shorts (I shelved under "cheesy lines ha good"), but I enjoyed it the most out of this collection! Black, 3 1/2-stars.
