I didn't think it was possible, but this book is even MORE insta-love than the usual Alexa Riley.
Imagine that.
Imagine the most insta-love, slam-bam-thank-you-ma'am book that you've ever read.
And multiply it by any ungodly number of your choice.
And BAM!
You have this book.
That said - by this point - anyone picking up an Alexa Riley should know that such is going to be the case. In fact, this is one of the reasons I like Alexa Riley books so much.
They just hit the spot sometimes.

Stolen Princess is book two in The Princess series by Alexa Riley.
Karim is a King, and his kingdom wants him to produce an heir. In order for him to do that, he needs to choose a wife. So to appease everyone, he announces that he will host a ball where he will hopefully find his bride. But deep down, he has no hope of that happening. And then he sees “her!” She is the most beautiful woman he has ever seen. And he knows…he knows that she is his.
“Then she walked in.
Fate had finally brought to me the woman I’d spent my life waiting for. And on the very night I’d given up hope.”
Giselle is a princess, the youngest of four children. She is so unlike her siblings and has lived her life kind of in a bubble, her family keeping her hidden from the outside world. When the King announces his ball, her father invites her to accompany him. Giselle has never been to any function such as this and it is overwhelming. She doesn’t feel like she fits in at all. So she steals away to the library. She loves books and it is a comforting place to hide. But then a man comes in, a very handsome man. Sparks fly and the chemistry is instant. Giselle doesn’t even know this man’s name but he tells her that she is his. That he will take care of her forever. So Giselle gives him the one thing she has been saving to give to the right man. She’s so happy, until they leave the library together, with all the promises he made fresh on her mind, and she realizes just who he really is.
This in no way is a negative remark because I love Alexa Riley. Our opinions of our books are so subjective, one person’s favorite of all time is another person’s not so much. So I completely say this is on me. I am truly enjoying this series, I’m just not feeling the usual Alexa Riley magic. I didn’t swoon. I do love a smutty royal romance, though. And I can’t wait for the next book which will be Claimed Princess.

This is another book from the “The Princess” series that could be used as a wonderful bedtime story for adults. I frequently use Alexa Riley’s books to relax after a stressful day and I really love the fact that this time, in this series the fairytale element is so strong.
In the previous book “His Princess”, we were dealing with the results of an arranged marriage but nevertheless with a successful coupling.
This time the Princess will meet her King during a ball that it is held so that King Karim can choose his Queen. Ring any bells? This could be another version of the Cinderella fairytale.
“This is crazy. It’s like a fairy tale.”
“That’s exactly what this is. I belong to you now. Will you use me for pleasure?”
Our little Princess Giselle will run away and King Karim will run after her before the official end of the ball.
“I forgot to tell Giselle how much I love to hunt.”
There are differences of course between Cinderella and Giselle:
-No fairy godmother will help Giselle. She will make her own clothes for the ball.
- Giselle will not really remain that innocent during the ball. Karim will make sure of that.
-No evil step sisters will try to stop her. Only the evil Karim’s assistant will hurt her and will try to steal Karim from sweet, innocent Giselle.
But true love –even if it is just insta love – will win in the end.
“My Giselle, I would find you, no matter if you so generously gave me your body or not. You could deny my touch for a thousand years and I would still be at your feet waiting, hoping that one day you would grant me the pleasure. This cover is basically the same as the cover for book one just different colors used. One of the prettiest covers I have seen in awhile.
I LOVED this one. As with the first book, this felt like the Alexa Riley of old. It was super sweet and super sexy. Even though this was super insta-love we have a heroine that didn't come across brain dead and a hero that was OTT without being creepy in the least.
I was slightly less discombobulated this time. This one had a slightly more modern feel to it. Or maybe since I read book one so recently I was just more use to the writing this go around. My analytical mind still struggles with not knowing where the hell these kingdoms are located. Honestly, though, who cares!
Bring on book three!

Classic Alexa Riley. Deliciously hot and steamy! King Karim is another hot as hell, possessive Alpha male who will do whatever it takes to get the girl of his dreams. I personally found the previous installment better than this one, but I enjoyed it nevertheless. :D Looking forward to the next book.

Another fabulous cover (well the same cover just different colours but it looks lovely) and another princess book. I'm a fan of Alexa Riley and I loved 'His Princess' and couldn't wait to start this one.
Now this is a beautiful sweet and sexy read with two, yes two epilogues for those of us who consider the epilogue to be the icing on the cake.
I enjoyed this book, I mean what's not to like we have a king (Karim) half heartedly looking for a wife until BAM he sees her (Giselle) and his life is changed forever. Giselle was the surprise baby to ageing parents, her sisters are grown and married leaving her and her father isolated away, she's not used to society and feels overwhelmed at the ball but the brief moments she spent turned out to be enough to catch Karim's eye.
It's all good but it's short, really short, it ends at 71% and I just felt there should have been more to it but judging by the brilliant reviews that's just me being picky.

Short version: I did not enjoy story. Nothing hold my interest and I kept rolling my eyes until the end. Definitely not for me. The previous book, His Princess was better than this. I expect a lot from Karim but reality sucks.
Long version:
⇒ As a king, Karim must find a bride but he's a firm believer in true love. No one catch his eyes until that day he met her.
⇒ Giselle (remind me of the princess from Enchanted movie, eh.) is an unknown princess and she came to the ball with her father. She's been tuck away from outside world. Until she met Karim... Didn't expect to face the real world, Giselle back to her family's safety. But Karim wouldn't give up for his future queen.
⇒ BOOM! Insta-love is fine. Somehow acceptable. But insta-lust? *cricket* Imagine when you meet a HOT stranger out of nowhere then suddenly you give him your cherry? Uh huh... Thank's God he's not a psychopath or something.
⇒ Also the sudden proposal to get marriage really threw me off.
⇒ The whole story was disgustingly adorable with a lot of sex and breeding talks. Giselle didn't need much convincing to married Karim. Huh.
Overall, this is your usual Alexa Riley's story with a horny man and sweet naive virgin. The only saving grace for this book are the cover and epilogue. WHY OH WHY the dirty sex was only in the end?!

STOLEN PRINCESS: This is insta-love at it’s best. It only takes 2 seconds for these two to fall in love, and fall they do!! Prepare yourself for a fast paced insta love romance. It’s over the top, but oh so good!!
It’s Karim’s turn to find himself a bride, no one as of yet has caught the delectable king’s eye but now it’s out of his control and he’s been forced to make a choice, to find a bride deserving of a King. And the only way to do that is to hold a ball where all eligible Princesses must attend.
And this is where everything changes!!
This is where Giselle comes into the story, she’s been hidden away from the world on her father's remote land and knows nothing about what makes royal men tick. She’s there at the ball to observe, nothing more, nothing less, just to get a glimpse of what goes on in the world of royalty. She’s got no clue that she’s there to be chosen amongst all the rest.
Feeling overwhelmed by it all she takes a breather and escapes for a while, a clandestine encounter with a stranger in a bathroom has her head and heart in turmoil.

Another Alexa Riley Princess Series read? Fan-freakin'-tastic!
Read this one last night cuddled up in bed after a long day. I just needed a quick escape before my head hit the pillow. I wasn't interested in something heavy, not a riddle to figure out, not an intricate plot to unravel, just a saucy little read to wash away the day. I turned on my kindle, and this little number smiled back at me... ahhh, perfect.
I liked this installment of the Princess Series less than the first one mainly because I didn't care for the h in this story. Too juvenile for my taste.
Listen, it's short... it's quick... it's insta-lust/love... it's sexy... it's alpha-male... it's way OTT... it's totally unrealistic... this is an Alexa Riley.

Giselle's father brought her to the ball. It's the first party she attended to. She was so excited but once she's there, she felt out of place so she hid in a room. A mystery man followed her and they made love without her knowing who he was.
From the moment Karim saw her, he knew she's the one and followed her. They're having a great time until she found out who he was and women told her things that scared her off and made her ran. But there's nowhere to hide. He'll find her. Nothing can stop him from having her.
It has two beautiful epilogues.

I love this series of royal dirty romances, but after a very good first novella, for the second I had higher expectations.
Karim must find a bride. After some persuasion, he decides to organize a ball, where will attend all the eligible princesses. Giselle lives with her father in isolation. She is excited when learns that she would take part in a ball. But when arrives, she feels out of place and quickly flees to one of the rooms. There will find her the king Karim.
It's not instalove, but insta-instalove and started too suddenly. I was missing some introduction. The heroine's naivety is almost disturbing. Even for our dirty heads it's too naive. Thus, only three stars.
That what you can expect, it's always dirty and sexy scenes. They take each other quickly and it's standard alpha men and virgin story.
I really like that world of kings and princesses, therefore, I'll easily read them further. Go for it and find yourself whether you like it. I can't wait for the next ones.

Right, so after a few drama filled book, I thought why not read AR?
Perfect little safe read that I know will not have ANY TRIGGERS!
And I was completely right, so YAY!
But honestly here folks, that's all it was!
I was just a little bored with it to tell you the truth.
Was the hero an ALPHA?
Yeah, but he was an arrogant ass as well.
He told her
“Karim,”
"Call me King.”
I would call him King alright let me tell you!!!
King of the SUPERIOR PRICKS!
However, he could be sweet too!
He would say things like
“On my word, I will care for you and protect you for the rest of my life. You’re mine, sweet Gigi. Until the end of time.”
Sweet right!?
Nonetheless, I found myself strangely disappointed and saying

I'm so excited about this series. And once again I enjoyed this fare tale. Kerim and Giselle were a match make, and gave me some sweet and hot moments. This was a short smut with glitter sparkling all over their kingdom and giving us a good time!
Kerim and Giselle were really lovable and I enjoyed their HEA! It was cute!

Another quick, smutty read by Alexa Riley! I am loving this Princess series!! It is total insta-love and over the top sex...but when I expect the read to be like that, I wait until i'm in the mood..it makes me love these reads when it is the right time!!
