A Witch on the run

Awesome rework adding paranormals to the story -especially Xander and the LeBeau's - yum! Sheena Savoy sees something she wasn't supposed to, her mobbed up boss doing a dirty deal. Unfortunately, they see her and the hunt is on. When she reports it, she gets hooked up with a team of U.S.Marshals. Etienne 's right hand Darius gets a call because she's a witch. So, he also sends a team, with Xander as lead. And Xander can't get his mind off her. Safe houses keep getting found, even after Xander finds her, so they make a stand at Lucas LeBeau's ranch. Who wins? And what?

It's very unique that vamps have special talents but his is awesome. It wasn't her fault she was doing her job 4 a psycho but in a way it was a blessing cause she finally found her true love. Even though it was a very bad situation her body guard is very good and helpful 2 keep her safe. It's good that she was eager 2 b with her man that was in her mind as well as in her heart 4 centuries 2 come. I soooo can't wait 4 more asap!! It always takes a extremely long x between each book. I hate waiting...

Worth the wait!!!!

Read this in one setting. The story is so fast paced and full of great characters. Really enjoyed meeting up with characters from previous stories. Looking forward to Marcus' story. Also, there is a story planned for Bast. Highly recommended all her books 📚

Enjoyable and entertaining if lacking substance.
This book slots into the Le Beau family world prior to Marcus meeting his mate so if you have read all the Le Beau books this one seems out of place.
Nice to revisit this world but I would have liked Etienne to have played a part.
Just wrapped up and had easy answers for a few things. Bast, the US marshal protecting Sheena being one of them.
We get a one-line solution about him going off grid to protect a witness.
Who planted the tracker and why didn’t all these clever people, in this specialised line of work, even think of it after the second time they were tracked?
I am finding these supposed witches boring as they are all lacking in any sort of power and need to big brave vampires to protect them. Would like one with to at least be able to hold her own against the baddies and give them a good zap.

This is the third book in the series. I think they should be read in order. This book is a rework of V.A. Dold’s Race to Tebow. It doesn’t feel like you’re just rereading the same story though. I felt that this book stood on its own. I love the added paranormal element. The League of Guardians and the Le Beau brothers work together often and the do so in this book as well. I loved this book as much as the original. V.A. Dold writes amazing stories with characters that suck you in. This book has action, danger, romance, and more. Great job V.A. Dold.

Vampires, mobsters, marshal, gun fight, wolves are just a few examples of what is in this book. Sheena needs to be protected from the mob after witnessing a crime. Zander is sent to protect Sheena from the mob. Great characters some new and some old are in this book. Action pack, excitement, drama, romance are all in this book of League of Guardians series.

Really nice story 💞

This was a nice love story. There was action from the very first chapter and continually through the throughout the book. Xander and Sheena are mates. I'm always interested in how these men will break the news to the women that are their prospective mates. Of course I read the books out of order but still I enjoyed them.

Xander to the rescue

Seeing your boss commit a murder and then realising that he wasn’t going to let you live to testify makes for a very bad start to the week. But if that leads you to your hunky soulmate, you might just have signed up immediately. What a great action packed book.

I absolutely loved Xander and Sheena’s story. Lots of action, danger, intrigue, humour and romance. Sheena’s familiar, Salem the cat, is hilarious. She is certainly keen on hexing someone. Sheena seems to be always running for her life and no-one can work out how the mob keeps finding them. The chemistry between Xander and Sheena is off the charts, it must be a soulmate thing. This is certainly a great addition to the series. I am really looking forward to reading more from this author.

I've loved reading V A Dold's since I met her at a signing in Houston in 2015 when she gave me Cade, and first introduced me to sexy shifters. The first in the Le Beau Series.

I'm not a big paranormal fan, and whilst the Le Beau series has Wolf shifters, there is nothing paranormal about VA Dold's stories. :)

This story about Sheena and Bast is not any different, there is excitement, terror, fear love and a strong family bond.

Sheena witnesses as dreadful horror, and is then hunted by the perpetrator, he wants her out of the picture, thankfully Sheena runs into a hunk of a man, who is a Marshall and pics up on key words as Sheena explains what and who she saw.

She becomes under attack, then she meets Bast Beniot, who is given the task to protect her, as she will be needed as the key witness in the impending case. This is not smooth sailing, there are men coming after her left and right!

Bast and Sheena, although thrown together soon begin to try and deny their feelings for each other.
There was an instant attraction, they have a slow burning relationship.

I really enjoyed watching them interact with each other, but also how Sheena interacted with Bast's men. They were not who they seemed to be. It was also that we get a cameo from Cade and Stefan Le Beau.

I loved how Basts' true friends went above and beyond to ensure Sheena's safety.

This story is one thrilling, suspense filled romance. We have Vegas, mobsters, and an innocent bystander. She does the right thing by giving the law a description of murders she witnessed and those that committed the crimes. She's rushed into the witness protection program where she is watched over by a team of marshals picked to protect her. But the bad guys keep finding the safe houses and trying to kill her. Her protector decides it's best to take matters into his own hands and ditches all help to take her somewhere no one knows of. Now did I mention that this is one no nonsense good looking woman and that the marshal is one honest hunky lawman? No? Well they are, and they are both extremely attracted to one another and before long it isn't just a matter of protecting a witness. I hate doing spoilers, and it may read like I have, but I have to give you "something" to let you know that this is one excitement filled run for your lives story, and what happens in-between everything I've told you will keep you from wanting to put it down once you start reading it. I strongly recommend "Race to Tebow" to all lovers of the romance thriller genre with some humor thrown in.

I thought I had read all of V.A. Dold’s books. I was excited to find another one while waiting for her next book. Sheena witnessed something she shouldn’t have and now people are after her. She goes to the police and tells them what she has seen and gives them the pictures and videos she took. She is now in witness protection except the bad guys keep finding her somehow. Now she is on the run with her WITSEC Marshall. Bastien vows to protect Sheena. There is something about her that brings out a need to protect her more than any of his other details before. He plans for them after she is safe. He wants to pursue the connection they have. This book has danger, romance, and more. I really liked this book. The characters were great. I liked that some of the Le Beau brothers made an appearance. I would love to read more about the people at the ranch he takes her too. I feel a great series could be made from them. This was another great book by V.A. Dold and I highly recommend this book. I can’t wait for her next book.

Sheena is on the run after seeing her boss, who also happens to head the mob, commit several unthinkable crimes. Bastien, the marshall tasked with keeping her safe until trial. Xander, a member of the League of Guardians, is alerted of Sheena's situation and is driven to find and protect what is his. This was not a love triangle, thank goodness.

While the story was an easy read, I thought the story was rushed in several places. The author missed a few opportunities to let her words show the audience rather than just tell what has happened. I liked the characters but there was a lack of connection with me. I kept waiting for something, but whatever it was, never happened. The fighting was like the avengers versus a beginners class, quick. I was happy for the nice ending but somewhat disappointed. I wanted more. I did enjoy reading a little more about past characters and I look forward to seeing the Le Beaus and Etienne's crew to the end.

Another Sexy Hero Meets His Paranormal Match

I just went out and bought a pack of red lollipops. Read the book and you will understand why. This book had it all, steamy love, romance, action, twists that you do not believe, and wit. The banter between Rose's brothers, now vampires, Nick and Derek, makes for a few laughs out loud moments. Another paranormal does find their mate and of course, danger ensues. Xander is the lollipop suckling vampire who meets his soul mate, Sheena, while running a protection detail, hers. I found Xander's unusual gift quit sexy and charming. Heck, everything about that vamp is sexy. Sheena has a unique gift of her own and fits right in with this group of paranormal heroes. Seeing more of the LeBeau is always nice. I appreciate that the very hot sex scenes make sense and make this one hot suspense-filled story with many splashes of romance. I can hardly wait for the next book in the League of Guardians and the LeBeau Brothers series!

Xander, Sheena and Witness Protection!

This is the best book of the series. They was no sex until about 51% of the book. The sex accentuated the relationship as the mates did the first three bites.

Sheena, as a witness to gruesome murders, had to go into the Witness Protection Plan, but someone
keeps giving away the location of the safe house and the bad mafia keeps trying to kill her. Xander enters the picture as her mate and takes on her protection himself. The action is non-stop. More importantly who is the mole who keeps giving away the location of the safe houses? It was shockingly funny how the bad guys kept finding out. This book has the shifters working with the vampires to keep Sheena safe.

There was enough going on to keep you reading until the end.

It is now Xander’s turn to discover his mate. Sheena works for the mob boss that tried to take out Cade’s mate Anna. She did not know that he was a crime boss. She witnessed the brutal murders of several humans meant for trafficking. She also saw two crime bosses making the deal. Now, they want her dead! She received protection from WITSEC, but there was an informant among the team. The mob kept coming strong after her. Xander was on his way to get her to protect her. They end up at Lucas’s farm with some of the Le Beau brothers for protection. Bastien is a Marshal with WITSEC who is doing his best to protect her as well. In the process, Xander is making her into a vampire. Who will succeed…the mob or the shifters and vampires? She can never go home until everyone in the mob families is eliminated. Can they do it? I received this book as an ARC and am leaving a voluntary review.

Loved , loved, loved this book !! I have been reading Miss Dold's books for a while now and let me tell you this book does not disappoint. In this book we meet Sheena who is in a whole heap of trouble for seeing something that she shouldn't have and Mr. Bastien Benoit, who is one sexy, alpha Marshal that helps protect people in WITSEC and Miss Sheena is his next assignment. I loved the chemistry between Sheena and Bastien you could tell that there was an instant attraction between them from the start. I don't want to give to much away but I will say that this book had just the right amount of action,romance and suspense and I didn't want the story to end. If your not sure about buying this book I say go ahead and get it because it does not disappoint !!

I love this book. I have to say V.A. Dold did a fantastic job with this book. This was a quick easy read, after I started it I couldn't put it down. Since I live in Louisiana, I want to commend Ms. Dold on her portrayal of the area and the characters. There are some surprises in this book. I don't do spoilers so that will be all I will tell you. I encourage everyone to get this book, it is worth your time and effort. When Sable Hunter started the Hell Yeah K.W. she did a fantastic job on the authors she chose to participate in it, that includes Ms. Dold.

AS I have met V A Dold personally, I thought I'd better read some of her books. So....
This is a suspense book. The heroine is on the run. She's seen something that she shouldn't have. The hero is trying to protect her, but there is a mole in his organization. Then there is the heat. The sex appeal....this is a smoking hot read, with intrigue and suspense around every corner. I loved it. I'm going to look to see what else this amazing author has written.

I enjoyed this book. I love the Le Beau series and liked the fact that Simon and Stefan had a cameo in this book. This is contemporary with just a slight paranormal element psychic which was barely mentioned. Sheena witnesses a crime and ends up being protected by Bastien and on the run for her life. I would have liked an epilogue that gave us a glimpse of their future, although the story did wrap up nicely. This book is part of kindle world reads.

Can't wait for the next book!

V.A. Dold never disappoints! I love this spin off from her Le Beau series. I love the way she keeps the attention on the storyline of the main characters of the story, she eludes to Nick and Derick's stories, then at the end, boom! Both Krystal and Marcus have stories to look forward to. Such a tease! Intense and steamy moments break up the dangerous situations, sprinkled with a little sass and humor, and garnished with romantic hunks.

Fast-paced and intense, the mob goes after one woman who saw too much. Employed by a casino, she doesn't realize that her boss has several unsavory sidelines. When she calls 911, she is thrown into a nightmare of fast chases, attempts on her life and betrayal. The one bright spot is the head of her Marshal detail, Bastien. He goes above and beyond the job to protect the woman he has fallen in love with. Lots of action make the story go very quickly.

"Race to Tebow" (Hell Yeah! Kindle World) by V.A. Dold is a great read. I enjoyed reading about Sheena and Bast. This story has action, drama, suspense, romance, passion, interesting characters, and more. I enjoyed the appearances of some of my favorites from Sable Hunter's Hell Yeah! Series. Highly recommend to all fans of romance, suspense, and action.

Thrills, chills and great adventure
Great new characters and a few familiar faces, I loved that it picked up right after Etienne’s wedding. Our tootsie pop loving vampire makes a devoted mate for Sheena and definitely keeps her safe and satisfied. We get to see the LeBeau family too. Lots of action in and out of the bedroom. Salem the cat rocks as an attack cat/familiar.

Excellent Read!

I really enjoyed reading this book! It had me going! Trying to figure out how the Job was finding out where Sheena was always being moved! This time I guessed wrong! There was romance, mystery, and plenty of action! My kind of book! I definitely recommend this book for others to read!

Another good one

Loving this series. This was certainly a page turner. Every safe house is comprised?? Who can Sheena trust? A strange and compelling voice in her head!? Xander knows who Sheena is to him but will she trust him? Read for yourself. If you are new to V.A. Dold's stories then you are in for a treat!
