Probably interesting if you, too, are a rich supermodel. Otherwise not that helpful (example: “If it's cold, spread pashminas around...”).

Everyday Chic is a fun read and full of some happy surprises!

As someone who loves to entertain, I could get lost in books like these for days. Molly Sims has a beautiful sense style (no surprise there) and when it comes to presenting her world in this book, she does so with lots of class, lots of charm and loads of honesty.

The mountain of recipes and tips for parents of picky eaters was just one of my favorite sections in this book. Molly spoke to me so clearly and I am totally taking the advice given!

But really, this book is not just a guide to better eating and entertaining. Molly Sims opens up her world to us and gives solid advice on creating the perfect space, meal planning, party planning, organizing, being a mom, taking time for yourself... the list goes on.

Because Everyday Chic would make such a fabulous gift, I plan to give a couple copies to some friends for Galentine's day!

Newly purchased at library today and decided to take a peek since just purchased new home. Wrong age bracket, perhaps young wives with kids would appreciate, so out of the loop I don't even know who she is! Did see her promoting this book and she was a lovely woman that adores her family.

I read this on a recommendation and it was OK. I'd never heard of Molly Sims, but I gathered pretty quickly she is a supermodel because everything was super. (And when everyone is super, no one is ... Sorry, couldn't help it.) She had some good advice here and there, nothing Earth shattering or new, and a lot of information in the book was from other people so if you're looking for a curation of advice on different topics, this book is for you.

I liked reading it because of my weird fascination with people and the lives they lead. On a scale of one to Who Really Does That? They're at the top of the scales, but that is to be expected from a magazine-like book. Even the keeping it real section in the back doesn't lower the image of the perfect SoCal-Supermodel-my kids eat healthy-we throw the best parties image so if you struggle with comparisons, you should avoid this book.

I’m a sucker for pretty books. I love to look at beautiful pictures, and this book sure met that need. Molly is gorgeous, her home amazing, and her parties catalog-worthy. I wasn’t expecting much sustenance to be honest, but I felt like she really gave some good effort to pull advice from experts in different home and lifestyle areas. She also had some authenticity in there and she tried to think about the reader with an entirely different socioeconomic status... but let’s face it - she’s a millionaire - so her lifestyle means are just completely different than most of us live. But A for effort. Were there any huge takeaways for me? Not really. I also lost interest near the end. Some things she wrote got a little cliche for me (the short paragraph on miscarriage and grief being at the top of the list) and the overuse of the word super annoyed me. But what stood out was that I feel like she really cared about the mom tribe and encouraging women, and has a deep love for her family.

I didn't *love* Molly Sims' first book so I'm not sure why I felt I needed to read this. I really struggled to finish. This is such a hodgepodge of things. On reflection I feel this was really written for the stay-at-home Pinterest mommy, which is fine, but just not my niche at all and not even the fluffy mental break I usually seek from these kinds of books. It manages to feel quite long despite being filled with pictures and checklists. I think the best pieces are probably the ones on interior design, but even that felt kind of random. There is a demographic out there that will eat this up, but I ain't it.

Gotta give this book five stars. Look, this book about the author living her life and sharing her approach is from Molly Sims perspective- accept that and skim through areas you don’t want to read -but there are areas of this book that are must reads for women. Great words of wisdom from a women who has enough years behind her to really know what she’s talking about. I want my daughter to read because I think this book will her! But a few heads up- the entertaining section has excellent tips, the decorating section is excellent on how to approach decorating your home, and the loving ourselves and being supportive of women kind is must read stuff.

I was intrigued but wary of taking advice from a supermodel. Turns out I loved pretty much everything she said. She offered great advice on every subject. Like the best people in the world, she has learned so much from so many other amazing people that she's gleaned and presented great wisdom in a totally approachable way.

My only complaint was the *** cursing but I appreciated that she was being relatable and did astrix the words.

Now, I don't know that I'm as determined and ambitious as she is but she was very encouraging and so maybe I can baby step my way into a nicer home and hosting a beautiful evening with friends.

I received the book as Goodreads giveaway just a few days ago. The first book sent apparently went astray in the mail. It is mostly a picture book of a young woman and small children in a lovely setting. I see nothing fresh, original or helpful, though I may just be an older demographic and unable to relate.

A do-it-all modern-mom-meets-Martha-Stewart. Great for those young, hip moms who want the picture perfect life, with some real, useful stuff for the rest of us (mom or not) on being the responsible adult and making a house where you keep your stuff into a home to enjoy.

I never heard of Molly Sims but picked this book up in the library. No new information but it was a fast read and she has good ideas. I liked how she recommended good white paint colors for a home as I just happened to be needing white paint.

I mostly wanted to look at the pics and complain about how unattainable her lifestyle is :)

I think there are some good things in Everyday Chic, but it just wasn't for me. I'm not a fan of neutrals :)

This book is not for me. Contrary to the title, this book is all about being a “supermomma.” The only thing I got out of reading this was remembering to follow some huge $1MM+ followers Instagram accounts that is forgotten about...let’s see how long that sticks, I’m sure there was a good reason I u followed them in the first place.
