Simple and straightforward; does an excellent job of explaining what an eclipse is, the different types, and why they happen.
Good illustrations clearly show what the text is explaining.

Clearly explains what an eclipse is for a young audience. This would be good to read aloud with early elementary students, or have for 2nd and 3rd graders to read independently. Bold photos and a good diagram. Glossary, recommended further reading and an index are included at the end.
