Shoggoth Apocalypse & More Tales Of The Cthulhu Mythos

Rate this book
Shoggoth Apocalypse presents Lovecraftian tales of the grotesque, teeming with eldritch monstrosities from beyond the far-flung boundaries of time and space. The title tale reveals the ultimate destiny of the shoggoths, protoplasmic creatures with an insatiable hunger for raw flesh. In "The Curse Of The Tillinghasts," a sequel to Lovecraft's "From Beyond," a high-tech corporation strives to revive the accursed invention of Crawford Tillinghast. "In The Chapel Of Ghattambah" unveils a web of treachery, spun by the disciples of a ghastly insect-god. "This Pulsing Mass That Serves As My Heart" tells of an office romance that turns into a ghoulish encounter with an ancient horror. In the days of the Pharaohs, mummified worshippers of Azathoth go on a savage rampage against the living in "The Colossus In The Catacombs."

Complete transparency here: I'm one of the co-authors. But I do think that you, dear reader, will enjoy the abundance of grotesque, ravenous monsters in this Kindle collection. :-)

My favorites were the Curse of the Tillinghasts and the creepy Egyptian Catacombs story!

I really enjoyed the opening story and the last story everything in between was good too with there own hints of mythos added to their stories. From a moldy heart flesh eater to a deformed ruler in Egypt clashing with a titan. To the machine that helps people see into the another plan of existence and dried up shoggoths rehydrating to wreak havoc on humanity. This short book has something for everybody’s Lovecraftian needs.

Didn't finish. This seems dumb. Kind of a comical style. Is this a YA?
