Chris Roberson is the co-creator with artist Michael Allred of iZombie, the basis of the hit CW television series, and the writer of several New York Times best-selling Cinderella miniseries set in the world of Bill Willingham’s Fables. He is also the co-creator of Edison Rex with artist Dennis Culver, and the co-writer of Hellboy and the B.P.R.D, Witchfinder, Rise of the Black Flame, and other titles set in the world of Mike Mignola’s Hellboy. In addition to his numerous comics projects, Roberson has written more than a dozen novels and three dozen short stories. He lives with a teenager, two cats, and far too many books in Portland, Oregon.

This leaves you wondering if things can be fixed for our family. I am more than happy with the story and art work. It gives even more depth to the characters.

River being brainwashed and all the other River-esque characters, um... yeah. Not buying it, it's a stupid plot.

Not a strong story at all, not the Firefly dialogue I know and love. Side stories have nothing to do with the plot, story-wise or thematically. Just really weak writing. As much as I'm hungry for new Firefly, this leaves me unsatisfied.

I'm struggling a bit with this one. I really enjoyed last issue's breakout plot, but the multiple River-like characters feels out of place, and I'm struggling with the art. Seeing Jayne get beaten up never gets old, though.
