Blackspire, the home of the Ravagers, is supposed to be a safe place for my family. Cut off from the Other Side, the monsters in the dark cannot reach us here.
But something is stirring in the hearts of the unmated. A sickness that makes them aggressive and turns their eyes black.
Driven from our only sanctuary in the galaxy, it becomes clear that the only way to save the Ravagers from the darkness is by fulfilling an age old prophecy.
Sara Page is the Paranormal/Science Fiction alter ego of Contemporary Romance author Izzy Sweet.
Sara Page is a Cincinnati, Ohio gal who loves her football, Cincinnati-style chili, and local ice cream. She writes what she wants to read, steamy science fiction, paranormal and fantasy stories. When she's not writing, Sara is doing her best to keep up with her two boys.
She lives with her two wild children, two fuzzy Shih Tzus and one supportive husband who reads everything she writes.
The fourth and final installment in Ameia’s story finds her and her four men on Blackspire where it should be safe. But something isn’t right. The unmated men aren’t acting right. They are aggressive, and their eyes are turning black. She discovers a weird prophecy that it is up to her to snuff out the darkness.
I have struggled with Ameia not having a backbone in these stories and just being the damsel in distress. In the last book, she starts to come into her own, and I finally got to see the woman and queen she will become. Which, is a far cry from the frightened princess she was when we first met her. I liked how she got to spend time with each of her mates in the story, and I loved how Vis story played out. He is one of my favorites. The issue I had with the story is the ending was just anticlimactic. All this buildup and that was all she did, left me disappointed. It made sense in a way, but I would have still liked to see a battle, something. But I was happy Ameia grew some lady balls, finally.
I am giving Queen of the Ravager (The Ravagers Chronicles #4) 4 Boundless Stars, a very fitting end to this series. However, I would read more in this world if the author chose to expand the universe.
SEXY, FUN-FILLED SCI-FI ROMP !!! Title: Queen of the Ravagers Series; The Ravager Chronicles Author: Sara Page Designation: Book Four of Four, Full-Length but NOT A Standalone, CLIFFHANGER AHEAD, Sci-Fi Romance Reading Platform: Kindle Unlimited My Rating: FIVE Delightfully Entertaining Stars***** ***I own Princess SOS, the first book of the series, but read the remaining three books of The Ravager Series using Kindle Unlimited. My review is for the entire series but there are NO spoilers included.
Oh my! Oh my! Oh my! I loved, loved, loved The Ravager Chronicles! This was my first time reading the work of Sara Page but it certainly won't be my last! I completely fell in love with Page's easy to follow style and perfect melodic prose. So, how can prose be melodic, you ask? Well, for me, it happens when the words of a story turn into a beautiful song. I hear a melody of words composed of the perfect combination of notes that can be described as sexy, sweet, seductive, sensual, steamy, romantic, funny and serious. And this story had it all along with a whole lot more! There was action, adventure, angst, heartache, loss, wicked enemies and plot twists galore! OMG! I was totally captivated, riveted to my seat, white knuckling my ereader with my heart fluttering wildly in my chest while the pages flew as quickly as the time! It was FABULOUS and I loved every single minute!
But let's talk a few details... The Ravager Chronicles is an exciting, highly imaginative, fast-paced, well-crafted science fiction romance. The narrative is beautifully written in the first-person with a single perspective from the heroine Princess Ameia. Normally, I'll be the first to admit, I enjoy dual or multiple perspectives but this was basically Ameia's story and it worked in the context of this story and for me. I didn't feel like I was a missing a thing by only having one point of view. The dialogue was smart, snappy, well-executed, at times hilarious and flowed effortlessly. But my favorite element of this sexy romp was, without a doubt, the characters. I loved them all, even the bad guys! I was immediately drawn into this story on the very first page by Princess Ameia who found herself in quite the pickle. She'd just turned 18 and had only celebrated her birthday at a grand celebration the night before. She certainly never expected her wicked stepbrother to trick her onto a spaceship, then into an escape pod by feigning an emergency and launching it into space... and during her own party no less! Landing on a strange uninhabited planet in an antiquated escape pod with very little water, no edible food, and no real supplies, attired only in her pretty pink party dress, was certainly no day at the beach, especially after the huge purple alien showed up growling MINE! And did I mention he was naked?!? Oh dear! What's a princess to do? You'll have to read the series to find out!
Did I like this book? No, I LOVED it! I would like to take a moment to include a little personal note about this story. The first book of the series, Princess SOS, was offered as a free download during an Amazon promotion which is how I came across this series originally. I did not know at the time it was not a standalone read and was somewhat perturbed when I got to the end and realized there was a cliffhanger but decided to check out the second book and discovered the remaining three books and the complete box set of the series was available in Kindle Unlimited so I immediately borrowed the entire collection and dove into Book 2, The Dark Princes. Don't stop reading at the end of Book 1. Personally, I was a little frustrated because the author did NOT include this information in the blurb for Princess SOS and she should have disclosed this to the readers. I almost didn't continue the story but I truly loved the story and felt compelled to see it through to the end and so glad I did! And the story just got better and better! We see a complete metamorphosis of young Princess Ameia as she grows and matures from a naive and somewhat selfish child to a wonderful heroic young woman. I completely fell in love with Ameia and all her mates. Would I recommend it? You bet and I am but only for adult readers who enjoy a whole lot of fun and a heaping helping of sex with multiple mates! That's right! Amelia has more than one mate, dearies! So, you better buckle up for this one! Will I read this author again? Abso-freak-lutely! As a matter of fact, as soon as I finish this review, I'm racing to Amazon to read Page's Moon Alley Series Box Set! And finally, was I entertained? Completely! Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read!
Ameia and her mates have had quite a journey. It started out with her being left to die and meeting an alien named Beast. Soon her family expanded and she found herself with four mates. This is the last book in the series. It is a great choice for those who enjoy sci-fi romances and you definitely want to start with the first and read them in order.
At the beginning of this book, there is happiness now that they are all together and have their two children and safety. Unfortunately, that safety does not last long. The past continues to haunt them.
Ameia has really grown throughout the books. At first, she was very naive and expected others to protect her. Now, she has learned to fight more for what she has and take risks to protect them all. This book finds her struggling to make the right decision to keep her family safe even if it puts her at risk. She takes the forefront in this story while her mates have to accept her choices. I really enjoyed when she got to spend time with her mates. You could see that those relationships have really strengthened and they have an emotional connection too.
Ameia has been through so much, and finally, finally things are coming together. She has her 4 mates and her baby girls. But, NO, she has one more trial and it's a biggie. Ameia once a timid pampered princess is now a truly indomitable woman. She still has her vulnerable moments, but she comes through. Her guys are alphas, possessive, coming to terms with sharing, always putting Ameia and the babies first.
This SciFi action adventure is nonstop. I love these characters, I want them to succeed, be happy. I feel their pain, their struggle, Ameia's epiphany, and the happiness of the rest of the story.
Couldn't put this book down. It's a perfect ending to Ameia's storyline. Can't wait for the next books to come out. I want to thank the author for creating this series! I love it!
Such a weak heroine. I kept wanting to slap her. Great writing style, it flowed wonderfully. I would have given 5 stars but the heroines lack of a backbone made it really hard to stomach these books.
Slow and boring. I've only read a few chapters, and im not sure im gna to finish this one. While the story has been ok so far, im starting to lose interest fast. There are still many unanswered questions like --what's going on with Vis, and will there ever be a group scene, i am very much over the "alpha" male bullcrap. Women portrayed as weak willed are very annoying. She loses her anger too quickly, and it's sad to see her fogive and forget. Put the men in their place! The female lead tell us that the men look at women like gods but treat them like children, and thats 100% accurate.
I loved this series just as much, if not more when reading it a 2nd time. The premise is unique with the race of the Ravegers and the other side realm. Ameia really grew into a strong woman by the end of this series. She was prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice to provide a better life and world for her daughters and mates. In the first book, she wouldn’t have had the gumption to do that.
I would love to read a spin off and come back to see these characters. The author definitely left it open and possible for another story if she chooses to do so.
Absolutely love this series .the author wrote it just right.its not long winded and has a great story line. I loved every minute of it Read each book After another . Please give it a try! Currently its on kindel unlimited So you can read it for free. If you read it please leave a honest review.
Overall I liked this book, just not as much as I did with the other 3. The build up was great, but the climax wasn't as good as I expected given the circumstances. Still a huge fan of Sara Page and look forward to more from her.
*I voluntarily read a review copy of this book. All opinions stated are solely my own and no one else's*
Wow an amazing conclusion to an exciting story. There was loads going on in Part 3 - lots of action, suspense and sexy scenes to keep you entertained. The ending took me by surprise; it was a little confusing and everything felt too rushed
Queen of the Ravagers - This is the conclusion to the 4 book series. It certainly ends with a bang. Life changes for Vis as a reject, he finds his purpose once more. The princess completes the prophecy and there is an awesome epilogue at the end.
Loved this series. I would love to have someone say to me "Mine" and to protect me with a ferocity that these guys did with their mate! What a great roller coaster ride with this amazing series!
I just couldn’t get into this last installment. Ameia always kinda annoyed me in these books but she was even more overdramatic and whiney than in the other book. Which is a shame because I enjoyed the third book.
❤️❤️❤️ this series. It has grabbed my attention from the first page and held it. It’s full of curiosity and mystery. I wasn’t happy with this final book in the series. It could of had better potential than where it went. But it does give closure to the series.
I can't believe it's over. I want more Beast, Stryker, Warrick and Vis. I have to admit I have a really soft spot for Warrick. The twins are going to have such exciting lives, too. I would love more books in these series.
I only have this 4 stars instead of 5 because I wished series was longer. The whole story line was amazing and something new.I recommend buying the whole series right away
This was a good ending to a great series. I feel like the ending was a little rushed and I didn't get as much information as I wanted but I was satisfied.
This was an interesting story, the characters developed as the story progresses. Especially Ameia, who started off as a scared, whiny princess and grew into the Beacon.
The last book let down the series a little i think, the plot and the characters were still quite interesting, however, i just felt like a lot of details were just brushed over.
I wish that we had gotten to see those first few week after reuniting and to see their relationships developing. I also wish that the confrontation with the villain of the story was hashed out a little more, i just felt like it ended really suddenly and i had no idea what had actually transpired.
The men of the series were still very hot and i loved how each person brought something to the group dynamic.
All in all, i enjoyed the series. It was interesting, the characters grew with the book, the plot was engaging and the writing was good too.
Ameia just couldn't get a break. She's been through so much, but there are still challenges out there to face. It was a good conclusion to the series, but there were some questions left unanswered. Like, what was happening to the unmated males? And I still don't fully understand what transpired at the end, it happened too fast and then wasn't really explained. We did not see Vis after what happened to him and spend entirely not enough time with Warrick. So, yeah, it could have been better. But I enjoyed the series as a whole. The story was great and the characters amazing, the conclusion just kinda sucked a little.
