DNF, the writing is actually extremely beautiful, it's very flowery, descriptive and poetic but it just felt so long-winded, it was taking forever to get anywhere and I wasn't interested enough to stick it out.

The three stars is probably generous. I found this on my father’s bookshelf upon his death and thought I would give it a go. Somewhat entertaining. These were women who definitely marched to their own drummer.
