This one is a little less negative than the Orca book in the same series - at least the questions Ranger Rick pops up to ask are a little more focused on how you could use being a lion to your advantage - but the conclusion is still "be happy you're not this cool animal."
If you wish to teach children incorrect grammar, give them this book. How can an author, editor, and publisher all be ignorant about the subjunctive mood? The title should be, "I Wish I Were a Lion". https://strategiesforparents.com/i-wi...
As a school librarian, I really liked the question/answer format of this book. Kids ask these types of questions and I think they will really enjoy this one. I look forward to more in the series.
