In 1972, she married Richard Pini and began illustrating science fiction magazines, including Galaxy, Galileo, and Worlds of If. In 1977, Richard and Wendy established a publishing company called Warp Graphics to publish their first Elfquest comic. Elfquest was self-published for 25 years and in 2003, licensed to DC Comics. The comic series has won several awards, including the Ed Aprill Award for Best Independent Comic, two Alley Awards, the Fantasy Festival Comic Book Awards for Best Alternative Comic, and the Golden Pen Award.

Beauty and the Beast: Night of Beauty is Based on the TV show created by Ron Koslow starring Linda Hamilton and Ron Perlman.

If you were a fan of the TV Series and was as sad to see it end as I was, this 56-page square bound "prestige" graphic novel might alleviate some of your yearning.

Wendy Pini tells a tale that fits well within the overall mytho, and her art is very nice, somewhat reminiscent of her work of Elfquest.

This story takes place after Catherine's death....but offers a beautiful closure to their love that we never got with the show. This should have been an episode.

This story was beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time. Catherine and Vincent’s love has always been so strong and encompassing, and now, it is truly timeless as well.

I did not enjoy this. The only thing I liked was that it was short honestly. This was the most disjointed story ever, I understand that a graphic novel cant give as much detail as a standard book but I would have expected more than we got. The artwork is... unique, some pages are amazing, some are really not, unfortunately it tended to be when upsetting things were happening that the artwork got iffy which really detracted from my ability to feel the story. I would not reccomend this book.

Another beautifully illustrated graphic novel. I wish Ms. Pini had produced more in between Portrait of Love and this one as so much happened among all the characters. This one reflected the end and it was just so sad.

This book was from the year 1990 and it was so interesting to me since it was in a comic book theme and in the store bell isn't bell but Catherine, in the story "Bell" is dead and the beast has to learn to let her go.
