Another great read from Penny Wylder.
I enjoyed the premise of this book - & its not one I've read a lot of versions of.
An unsure of herself girl, who's been told she's rubbish at sex by an ex who I'd like to kick in the shins, goes to classes to 'fix her inadequacies. Naturally, in a twist of circumstance, the instructor is our hero.
As I expected, there were a few awkward situations our heroine found herself in that were quite funny & made me giggle.
I liked the character of Mayra, and while she's certainly getting over some confidence hurdles thanks to her aforementioned idjit-ex, she's relatable.
Philip is sexy, strong & confident - exactly the kind of guy to help her get back on her feet (or knees, wink-wink!).
I liked these two together & as per normal with a PW read - the sex... haaawwwtt with a capital haaww.
Looking forward to more stories from The Pleasure Chest.

So the description of this book totally drew me in. Not because it was kinky in a way, but because I had a feeling it was going to have a deeper meaning.
Marya was sweet. I felt bad that she had a jerk of an ex, but as the story progressed, she gained a beautiful confidence about her self.
Philip was...... a total man in the way that he was aggressive and possessive but at the same time he was different he wasn't a total man slit, which made me like him even more.
I loved the dialogue to description ratio of this book. There wasn't too much, or too little of either. Just the perfect amount that had me picturing everything vividly and being able to connect with the characters.
This was hot! There was a lot of, sex talk and it was very vivid, I really enjoyed that because it was easier to picture it in my mind, but it wasn't too much that I was board. It was mainly about the sexy times but it still had a deeper meaning behind it. Confidence is key.
Overall, I really enjoyed it. It was super steamy and I won't forget that anytime soon! It was in the shorter side, but I still enjoyed it. This was my first book by this author, and I would be willing to read more. 5 stars #2CCJD

This book has everything! Emotions, problems, past issues, romance, humor, quirkiness, sexiness and everything that leaves you wanting more or wanting someone like Philip! Haha.

If you are looking for a short and steamy read that has a redeeming quality to it, Lip Service is for you. Mayra’s longtime boyfriend took her by surprise when he ended their relationship and his reasoning took Mayra’s self-confidence and smashed it all to he*l. Bryan told Mayra that she sucked at sex…or didn’t suck the right way evidently. Mayra was doubting herself but wanted to do something about it so she went to a sex class hoping to learn what she had been doing so wrong making her feel worthless.
Philip was filling in for his best friends girlfriend teaching a class on how to give memorable bl*wjobs. Philip did make mention that he wasn’t sure if he was the man for this job because he has only been on the receiving end of this particular act. So now you have guessed that Mayra happened to be one of his pupils. Was Mayra really as bad as her boyfriend said or was he just a heartless bas*ard that could only put himself up by putting her down? Was Philip the type to mix business with pleasure? It was more than just an erotic read because it told you to look inside yourself to see what your worth was and not get it second hand from anyone else.

Another hit by Penny Wylder. I think this might be my favorite book by her.
Mayra decides to go to a blowjob basics class after her asshole of a ex basically told her she sucks and not in the good way. I hated her ex Bryan (I wanted to run him over) he was so cruel and basically shattered her coincidence in herself.
The second Phillip walks into the class as the substitute teacher Mayra and everyone else's mouth drops but, he only notices her.
Phillip helps Mayra realize she was never the problem, her douchebag ex was.
This was a sweet, quick, steamy & low angst read that I really enjoyed.

Outrageously funny!
It lights up all the laughing buttons. How could it not when the female character enrolls in a class on how to give a good mouth massage to her potential partner? :-D
All the scenes involving the classes and the very detailed (and useful) instructions were really hilarious. I loved them. Also, the male character is very well fleshed-out. That's why this romance is about trust and intimacy as much as it is about mind-blowing passion.
Mayra and Philip have their issues, but the way they work them out together to reach that healing happiness makes this story fulfilling and relatable. I enjoyed myself a lot with that final touch of justice and the gloriously wicked epilogue that will leave you with a sweet and erotic taste.

Mayra, one day diputusin sama pacarnya dgn alasan she is bad in sex! bahkan ga bisa membuat masnya puas pas lip service, langsung rendah diri kan.. masa iya si dia seburuk ituuuu?? antara denial dan pengen merubah diri, si mbak daftar kursus gitu.. kursus nya khusus lip service si (ada banyak kelas tp si mbak milih kelas yg kata mantannya ga bakalan bisa dia kuasai). Nah, antara gugup dan ga pede trs die jg malu, hari itu ada guru pengganti di tempat les nya.. bukan mbak yg mustinya ngisi kelar, tp mas-mas super ganteng. Myra has been given a blow by her ex boyfriend when he broke up with her. He told her she was terrible in bed and that the rest of her couldn't makeup for it. She was so hurt until that is all she could think about so she decided to take a sex class. In walks the hottest male you could ever imagine to teach the class, wow, could things get any worse for her. Not knowing if she should bolt out of the room she decided to try and stay but the more the class went on, the more she felt he was talking to her personally. He was so hot and all she could think about was taking him home for a private lesson. Things did take a turn for the worse when he asked her to volunteer with him so he could show her how things were supposed to happen. This is such a cute book, everyone should read it. I couldn't read it fast enough.

This was just "Okay" for me. The little drama with the ex at the 75% mark seemed a bit unbelievable to me. Not that it was over the top, but just inconsistent and off somehow.

This is only the second book that I've read by Penny Wylder & I'm so glad I was given the chance to read this arc.
I have to say that Penny certainly has a way with her words & knows exactly how to draw you in while reading her books.
This is a fast flowing, quick, hot read.
Absolutely loved the story of Philip & Mayra.

February 27, 2018Due to her douchebag ex-boyfriend breaking up with her because "the sex was just so bad", Mayra enrolls in a class at a local adult shop. The regular instructor is ill and the substitute teacher, Philip, is all kinds of hot, and he seems to always be looking at her. Philip has PTSD but is working through it. While most of the women in class are not hiding their interest in him, he is drawn to the one woman that can barely even look at him - Mayra. He isn't looking for a hook up, he wants something more...a connection.
This book is sweet (and hot) while we watch Mayra gain confidence in the bedroom and Philip find that connection he is looking for. My biggest regret is that Mayra's ex doesn't end up with a broken bone at any point - he certainly deserves it.

Phillip and Mayra's story could have been a detailed guide on how to perform fellatio. Over have the book was a detailed description of the act and afterwards it was just practice. It was a sweet story but not my favorite one.

I'm a huge fan of Penny Wylder and never have I been disappointed in one of her books!!! Another fantastic read!! I'm a big fan of insta love/connection!! Lip service is a hot and steamy read!! I absolutely adored Mayra and Philip!!! Mayra was sweet with a douche of an ex who made her lose confidence in herself!! Philip was a total male with a possessive and protective streak!! Philip helps Mayra gain her confidence back while she helps keep some of Philips darkness away. Loved this book!!'

Mayra has just recently been dumped by her boyfriend of about a year. She thought they were happy and satisfied in their relationship, but when he dumped her, he went for the jugular and shattered her self-esteem and confidence. He told her that she’s terrible in bed, even worse with her mouth and that the rest of her didn’t make up for those major deficiencies. What?! An. A**hole!
Feeling shy, nervous and extremely insecure, she signs up for a class at a local sex shop. Mayra figures that anything she’s lacking, she’s sure she can learn, so she shows up to class ready to learn how to… well… suck.
Her teacher ends up being a gorgeous, confident specimen of a man. He’s helping out a sick friend and filling in, but the ladies in the class are pretty distracted by their new teacher. They are all flirting and throwing themselves at Philip, but he keeps looking at the quiet, reserved, beautiful Mayra. After a humiliating, blush-inducing hands on portion of the class, Mayra is ready to bolt, but she sticks it out until the end of the class, where Philip lets her know that he’s definitely interested. He, however screams player, not to mention very experienced, to her and she flees before getting her heart broken again for being a lackluster lover.
Feeling their strong attraction, Philip is confused as to why she took off and hopes to see her again, but has no way to track her down. The next day, they bump into each other on the street and she invites him up so she can explain her insecurities. He’s furious with her ex for making her feel this way and certain that her ex is absolutely wrong. He sets out to prove that there’s nothing at all wrong with her and she starts to wonder if things are so much better in the bedroom, because now she’s with the right man.

Feeling shy, nervous and extremely insecure, she signs up for a class at a local sex shop. Mayra figures that anything she’s lacking, she’s sure she can learn, so she shows up to class ready to learn how to… well… suck.
Her teacher ends up being a gorgeous, confident specimen of a man. He’s helping out a sick friend and filling in, but the ladies in the class are pretty distracted by their new teacher. They are all flirting and throwing themselves at Philip, but he keeps looking at the quiet, reserved, beautiful Mayra. After a humiliating, blush-inducing hands on portion of the class, Mayra is ready to bolt, but she sticks it out until the end of the class, where Philip lets her know that he’s definitely interested. He, however screams player, not to mention very experienced, to her and she flees before getting her heart broken again for being a lackluster lover.
Feeling their strong attraction, Philip is confused as to why she took off and hopes to see her again, but has no way to track her down. The next day, they bump into each other on the street and she invites him up so she can explain her insecurities. He’s furious with her ex for making her feel this way and certain that her ex is absolutely wrong. He sets out to prove that there’s nothing at all wrong with her and she starts to wonder if things are so much better in the bedroom, because now she’s with the right man.

This was the first time reading anything from Penny Wylder, and I asked myself why I hadn't sooner. She writes vivid scenes that are easy to imagine and had me laughing out loud at times. Other times she had me fanning myself.
Lip service is fun, sexy read and exactly what the blurb says. Mayra decides to take an oral sex class because her a-hole of ex boyfriend made her feel inadequate in pleasuring a guy. There she meets Philip, who is attractive, charming and everything that reminds Mayra of her ex. She tries to stay away from Philip but life has other plans.
The characters are likable and I was able to connect with them. I felt bad for Mayra and how her ex treated her. I could understand how she struggles with her insecurities and pushing someone because of them. I wouldn't mind finding a guy like Philip. Not only he's great in bed, he's an all around good guy. I love how he defended Mayra and gives her support and confidence.
There is plenty of steamy sex scenes. However, one of my favorites is the one where Philip is describing the perfect blowjob in class.
I really enjoyed reading this and I will continue to read more from Wylder.

What a steamy, heartwarming little read! Mayra, self conscience from a recent breakup with someone who told her he was breaking up with her because she was bad in bed, decides to sign up for a sex class. Only, the usual teacher is out sick, and the substitute is embarrassingly hot. Philip, has been through hell and back, and now wants to find someone to settle down with. Doing a favor for his best friend’s girlfriend he substitutes for her class, teaching women how to give blow jobs. Will Mayra and Philip find what they need in each other?
I thoroughly enjoyed this short love story. Mayra was very relatable. It was understandable to say the least, why her confidence would be low after that little jerk told her she was bad in bed, and that was why he was breaking up with her.
Philip, whew, hot I think would be an understatement in describing him. I loved the insta attraction, and all of the steamy scenes.
I would totally recommend this book!

4.5 Stars!! I really liked this book!! It's a cute, kinda dirty, sometimes funny, sweet fast read! This story had great character chemistry & dialogue & read realistically-I was blushing at some points & smiling at others! I do wish Mayra had more of a backbone when it came to her a-hole ex boyfriend though!(& maybe some more self confidence, but I can't really talk on that subject myself!!) Other than that, I found this to be a perfect fast read with the perfect mix of sweet, fun, sexy, embarrassing, & anger inducing moments!! I hope you check it out!!

Sweet, short, hot... like most of Wylder's other novellas. However, I don't think I liked paying $3 for less than 100 pages of a story. All of her other books I've read have been available through KU, so I could read these short novellas without guilt. I one-clicked this one, assuming it was like all her others. All this did was teach me to pay closer attention. I like this author, the pages-to-cost ratio is a little to expensive.

Absolutely loved this fast paced , hot, sexy , mouthwatering book ! You will fall for the characters from page 1. I know that I fell for the man from when we first got a glimpse of him. I put my hand up to be a volunteer . I'll give you the lip service treatment after class baby.
