The third dragon has been awakened...

But now he's awakened and collared, unable to use his powers and alone in the modern world. His only company is his insane adopted cat and Faye, the curvy, sweet neighbor who makes his dragon sit up and say ‘mate’. Too bad the only woman he finds irresistible has no trouble resisting him.

Faye doesn’t know what to do with Red. He’s always causing trouble, between his cat making noise at all hours or the women constantly chasing him. But he isn’t like the hot jerks she has met in the past. Yes, he’s sexy, with green eyes and a body to die for, but he’s also kind, funny, and needs her help. He’s also willing to protect her from her ex. So despite her mistrust of men, he might just be slowly winning her over.

Though men have let Faye down, Red is sure she just needs the right dragon to help her find her wings again. He just has to do it before the evil creatures after them catch up.

I LOVE this writer, but this series in general has been nothing more then mediocre for me personally. It was a cute and simple shifter read, but definitely nothing overly memorable. Very predictable plot and characters. I am glad it was offered as a kindleunlimited, and will without doubt read more of this writers work, just not this particular series.

Rubies are red...

Red is a sexy as sin. A giant flirt use to getting his way. I love, love Faye and how she gave him a hard time. They had great chemistry and her stubbornness just added to it.

The ongoing storyline for the series is heating up and I can't wait to see what's next!!

Though I have these listed in the 'Adult' genre, they really are not overly graphic in any way. Truthfully, I have read some books considered YA that are more graphic and explicit then these are.

The writing is pretty smooth and flows easily. You will seldom find a typo or editing error.

These are very mild, fun and sweet paranormal dragon romances. Even the bad guy is not all that bad. Although the people he is involved with are freaky and nuts.

Red & Faye, the main characters in this one are fun and interesting. They may be my new favorites.

There is very little angst, tension, suspense nor drama in this story, nor the others up to this point. So you may find yourself a bit bored. However, they are fun and contain just a pinch of the above. They also have humor. Not enough to make you laugh your head off, but definitely enough to make you grin.

I recommend these for when you need some light reading that will warm your heart and put a smile on your face.

I love this series. Each awakened dragon is a "gem". This one is about Red, the ruby dragon, fiery, sexy, full of himself. Also, this is another dragon who winds up with a cat. I wonder if this theme is going to continue with all the Gem Dragons. Red's cat doesn't like him much though and the interaction is pretty amusing at times. He finally realizes he's found his mate and the battle to win her over is on.

Redmond aka Red or the ancient ruby dragon was the next dragon to be released from cold storage by the oracle of protecting mankind with the help of the other dragons-Zach (impromptu leader and onyx dragon) and charming Luc aka sapphire dragon. Red was gifted with the powers of commanding fire and great sexual abililites (yes that was a gift and the woman loved him! ) lol!

Zach was not willing to allow Red to live with him after he called his and Luc mates wenches and flirted with Erin so they found him an apartment and loan him money to figure things out after getting a wild and crazy one-eyed cat named Pumpkin as his pet. Although, Red was a very sexual man/dragon his touches rubs Pumpkin the wrong way but Red still takes the orange fur ball as an experiment of sorts.

Faye, red dragon's neighbor is not thrilled by all the loud yelping coming from across the hall so one day she knocks on Red's door and from there it's push and pull but Pumpkin was quite taken with her but Faye didn't see what all the other women saw in the pretty/handsome red dragon! Red is a bit taken back so he takes this as a challenge and within days he knows that sassy Faye was the one--- his mate!

So watch Red thinks of ways to befriend Faye with dinner time dates so to speak, patting cat time, leading to .... stop... read it... you will love the way he handled Faye's past ex, her distrust of all things man as well as the road they take together to stir the fire burning within their new relationship.

BTW, Aegis, the emerald dragon was not all bad in this one... watch his angel on his shoulder break the evil side for just a hot, hot minute! Maybe there is hope for him after all!

Red, the ruby dragon, is the third awakened dragon and he's looking forward to having more of what he had before ~ lots of beautiful women who are attracted to him, power, and the world at his feet. But he soon learns that isn't what he wants at all when he sees Faye and she's not at all attracted to him. Red enlists her help with his adopted Persian cat who wants nothing to do with him because the cat does like Faye. Can Red prove to Faye that he's really not interested in other women?

Ahhh, another awakened dragon!!!!

Loved it! The Ruby Red dragon, passionate, loving, very appealing!!! All he wants is to find somebody ( or something ) to love...

Cue Queen's " Somebody to love " and you're set!!! This book was lovely, wonderful, a great awesome read, and I can't wait ( plus, I'm hoping ) for more dragon books, amethyst, diamond, and Ageis, ( he's going to be tough, I bet he will have to rescue someone for the right reasons!!!)

Working for the good oracle isn't taking the losers way out, it's saving them all and makes nag them stronger!!!

Redmond is the ruby dragon with the most fire, most anger, that he keeps controlled. He's fiery, passionate, but never been in love before.

When he meets the ( literally ) girl next door after being given a task by the oracle he just wants to make her his. She's scared, and very rightfully so.

Every man, all her life has never given her love of the truly selfless kind. Can Red teach her what freely giving and receiving selfless heartfelt love really can do. It can free someone from their past, and even save a captive dragon, and his heart.

Very well worth reading!!!

I hope there is a whole army of jewel dragons! Yep, this is book three, Ruby AKA Red, is awake and happy about. The other two were very reluctant to join the world again, Of course, the others didn't have Red's power. Sexiness. Well, they are both sexy, and hard for human women to resist, but Red draws the females in as if he were made of chocolate. Except Faye! Yeah, she is unimpressed. Maybe not unimpressed, but not gonna go there. She's had her fill of sexy guys and the hurt and aftermath are not worth it. Sex just isn't that great---What! Tell that to a dragon with sexiness as his power and he's just gotta have her--the problem is figuring out how.

We meet another unique kittie (love the little critters) and some new enemies. These books just keep getting better and better. Guys waking up from Medieval times to modern times, finding love and adjusting while battling old and new enemies to protect the human race. The best in story telling, lots of steam and unforgettable characters. Give me more!

Red is the ruby dragon who has just been awaken and has his powers collared. His fellow dragons call him the sexy dragon since one of his powers is a strong sexual pull with the ladies. The oracle says he must refrain from sexual encounters and get to know humanity and find his mate. Since the other dragons had good luck with pets, they take Red to the shelter where he chooses Pumpkin who seems to hate everyone.
Faye is a hard-working waitress with a horrible love life history and has given up on men. She comes home after a long day of work to hear a cat wailing like it is being tortured. She knocks on Red's door to give him a piece of her mind. She is floored by his sexy good looks but refuses to give into her attraction.
Red is amazed at how she can ignore all his advances and decides he needs to get to know her better. It helps that his cat seems to like her.
I loved this story!! I was given a free copy for my honest opinion.

Outstanding

One sexy dragon, one lovely woman, and one crazy cat; together they make a terrific and spicy shifter romance! Redmond the Ruby Dragon is all about having fun, his powers differ from all the other dragons, when women see him they all get hot and bothered, and he has never met a female that he couldn't please. But he wants to change his ways. Faye is sick and tired of all the noise from her new neighbors apartment, so she goes to confront him about it. No matter how gorgeous he is, she has been burned before, and she is not falling for his charm, which peaks Red's interest as no women can resist him. What is the Ruby a Dragon to do when the one woman he wants, does not want him? Why woo her of course, the dragon way! Can the dragon win his maiden's love? With evil on the rise, the dragons and their mates need to be strong, and without his powers, Red is vulnerable. I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I can't say enough good things about this series!!! Red is the ruby dragon, known for his command of fire and as quite the ladies man. After being woke up a collared dragon, the oracle gives him one job; find one woman who will agree to be his mate not just his fling of the moment. Red adopts a cat who hates him but loves his cute next door neighbor, Faye, who he finds attractive but she won't give him the time of day, which has never happened to Red before. Faye reluctantly agrees to be Red's friend to help him with his cat, she has been burned by men in the past and finds it very hard to trust. Their friendship slowly builds into something more and Red has to prove his love for her is bigger then the love he had for himself, the most selfish dragon. I love this series and can't wait for the rest of them!!! I'm actually really interested in Aegis's story, I feel like he is becoming a more reluctant bad guy as the storyline progresses and would love to see him get his HEA.

Red, the Ruby Dragon, has just been awakened. Luc and Zach take him to the animal shelter and he adopts Pumpkin; a cat with one eye and fuzzy orange fur. Pumpkin doesn't like him and hisses and spits at him. His next door neighbor, Faye, complains about the noises from Pumpkin and Pumpkin takes a liking to Faye. Red is amazed when Faye doesn't come on to him as all the other females do. And his dragon insists that she is his mate. Faye has been abused by her previous partner and Red protects her when the douchebag comes back to try to get more money from her. Gradually Faye relaxes and admits that she is attracted to Red. But she is scared to admit how she really feels until the Aegis and the wyverns attack and Red goes with them in order to protect Faye. Now she is willing to admit that she was wrong and that she is his mate. She goes with Luc and Zach to rescue Red. I was given a free copy of this ebook in return for an honest review.

Red (also called Ruby) the sexy dragon, is sweet, charming, funny, and very attracted to Faye. But Faye has had too may good looking men turn into losers, so she is leery. She doesn't want anything to do with him. But he is intrigued by her and does what he can to be around her, even using his new cat. The interactions between Red and his "devil cat" are hilarious and make him seem less perfect and more real. He thought his ability with females would make it easy to tame the cat, and get Faye. But this sexy dragon is going to have to be patient and work for what he wants. I love seeing these newly awakened dragons, try to navigate in the modern world. They are clueless about technology, and using modern gadgets, so they say and do funny things. But because of his gem affinity, each one has a different personality. This series just gets better and better.

Hot headed Woman, Bitchy Cat snd Sexy Dragon

The third Dragon has be awakened. Red is here and he is amazing. Sexy as heck too! His two other Dragon friends who were awoken before him take him to seek a pet. Little did he know, that despite his reputation as God's gift to woman...in his new life there would be two living females who would be the exception to the rule.

Faye is exhausted! Her job and stress have warned her out. All she wants to do is go home and relax, but unfortunately this is not happening. Her new sexy neighbor is not only wreaking havoc with the women, but has some annoying and loud animal in his apartment. She can't take it anymore and goes over to give him a piece of her mind...or is she?

I really enjoyed their story. It was very entertaining and I can't wait for the fourth dragon to awaken! Hopefully, soon!

Red is the Sexy Ruby Dragon and has been awakened, collared like the others till he can adjust to his new time and can help his fellow dragons against the threat to humans. Zach and Luc take him to the shelter to find a special kitty of his own. Well, spitting mad one eyed Pumpkin is for him..after all with his charisma she will come around in no time. Faye has had enough of all the noise coming from her new neighbor, it sounds like he is killing a cat. This is how you meet your mate and tame a kitty, but it's not as easy as Red thought with Faye as skittish as his cat and danger lurking around the corner. Love these sexy dragons they get your heart pounding with great action and lovely sexy scenes! I was gifted a copy for an honest review. What an awesome series, highly recommended!

Hotter in than an inferno

Redmond had the power of sexual persuasion when it game to the ladies. All women threw themselves at him except for Faye. She was all kinds of sassy and called him out. I love how their relationship was based on friendship first until she could trust he would not hurt her physically and mentally. Red was the Ruby fire Dragon. He had the hottest Dragon fire. His power was to use it to protect the innocent so it had to be used for good. Who is this black Oracle and why does she want to cost havoc on the world? Would Aegis she the problem and finally turn to the good side?

This is what sucks about players that are mates. When him and his mate finally have sex, he says, “ see? That is what good sex is supposed to feel like”
It wasn’t special. Usually that’s where the female mates that’s less experienced asks if that’s how it always is with a shifter and her male mate responds with something like, “ no it’s never been like that before. Only with you because you’re my mate.”

So it was obvious the only first she got from him was his feelings. The sex with his mate wasn’t special because he bedded almost every woman who gave him a second look beforehand. I AM thankful we didn’t have to read any stories about him and others in intimate situations in the first chapter like some do. It ruins any chance of romance. That’s the worst thing you can do in mate stories as well as the male cheating which shouldn’t be possible. So this left a little bitter taste but you have more books with male mates that don’t bone everything in their path so I’ll stick to safe ones like that where I know I won’t feel bad for the girl and grossed out with the male.

A Fiery Woman For A Fire Dragon - A red dragon must learn to truly care for humans instead of only himself and use his love for pleasure and sexy skills in a selfless way in a real commitment. It's refreshing that the female protagonist has a stubborn and fiery temperament and doesn't stand any bullshit and thus challenges him to find his good side and to be compassionate and patient. His kindness and patience is really heartwarming and sweet to read. It's fascinating to encounter different dragon powers as the series unfolds. Again we learn a bit more about the plot against the world and the mysterious evil power behind it all. It will be interesting to see how Emerald, our bad guy this far, will behave, as there are some hints about him being redeemable after all. And as usual, there is also a cat person involved.

Another Dragon Hit!

I'm a slower reader than most people but that lets me absorb what I read and really get into the story and the characters. I really enjoy the Dragon Series because they are each so unique. In this one, Red really had his hands full with a psychotic cat and falling for a girl with a wall around her that was a mile wide and nearly as thick. Between that and his cat, and of course, the forces of evil at work, I liked the way things came to the end. I can't wait to read the rest of the Series to see how everything comes together! Loving the Dragons!

This book was ok.

It's probably the least favorite book in the series so far. It was starting to get pretty interesting at the beginning of the story, but lost interest in the story very quickly. I had to force myself to read at least half way through the story.

The female character in this story was too stubborn for my liking and she made it seem like her past was the worst, but it wasn't even bad at all. It got really aggravating towards the end. Hopefully the next book in this series will be a lot better.

This was another good addition to the series. I liked the fast pace, the sweetness, the bit of drama/angst, and the action.

I will say Faye did annoy me a little more than the other heroines. I started out liking her because she was strong, feisty, and independent. I can't pinpoint why exactly, but there was something about her that just poked me the wrong way near the end.

Anyway, it was still good and I'll continue with the series!

Sweet

Flashy. Pretentious. God's gift. My personal opinion of Rubies. In the beginning of this story it also did a good job describing Red. But, he turned out to be so much more. Surprisingly patient, considering the other dragons in this series. He took the time to actually get to know his mate before hopping into bed with her. I actually ended up liking Red, a lot. He is very sweet.

Loved it!!!!

Oh my. I love Faye. She has been used and abused. Red has also but in a different way. He is so sweet and patient. You could could actually feel his anxiety about telling Faye about himself and that collar. Faye finally feels protected and safe but she must fight for her dragon.Can't wait for Diamond.

I was hoping for more of a confrontation with her ex. He was such a worry until he vanished from the plot. The fact that he still got paid even though he was an abusive rapist doesn't sit well with me. We don't even know what the whole thing was about. The story was okay and I will read the rest because I enjoy the author's work very much. I like that world.

I love that the dragons from the prior books are basically guidance counselors to the newly awakened dragons. Watching Zach and Luc deal with Red and his "sexy powers" was priceless. Also I enjoyed yet another alpha male being turned to mush iver a kitty even a grumpy one! Red and Faye's story moved different than the others and it was super sweet. I cant wait to dive into book 4!
