My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 Unicorns - I loved it!!!

This cover is fabulous as all of her books are, but I do really love when the covers have both forms of the beast!
This is a standalone book though I hope the Delacourt pride has some books somewhere. This is for adults only due to the steamy content. Of course I own this book and lots of others by Zoe Chant as well.
This is Irina and Grant’s story, and it is action packed and filled with intrigue. I was pulled right into the story and loved reading it. I loved watching them grow confident in each other even with all the surprises along the way.
Zoe’s books always finish with me feeling happy and glad to have read her books. Each of them has plenty of action and makes it hard to put the books down. They also end in a happily ever after which makes me happy.
I highly recommend reading any of Zoe’s books because I have loved them all!

Irina has an art showing and is hoping that this will be a big break for her but when a rather rude woman corners Irina at the showing it's Grant that comes to her rescue. Grant knows the rude woman because he and her brother are friends. He's actually at the showing to see if he can find that friend but he meets Irina instead and immediately knows that she is his mate.
The problem with Grant finding his mate is he's always been afraid that his panther will become too strong and make him hurt and leave the human woman he loves if he finds one since panther shifters are notoriously loners. His father left his mother and him and never looked back and he vowed to never do the same thing.
Irina works a lot so they don't have a lot of time to get together but he takes her out when she does have the time. It becomes apparent that someone wants Irina dead so they have to figure out who. Grant has to rely somewhat on his panther to help Irina and they have to work together which is something neither of them are used to. it was great seeing Grant realize that his panther is nothing like his dad's and he doesn't have to worry about hurting Irina like his father did his mother.
I liked the conclusion and the reveal as to who was after Irina and why. It was a good read.

This was an enjoyable story. I liked both Irina and Grant and was happy to see them get together but I didn't seem to bond with the MCs as much as I would have liked. I'm truly not sure if the issue was with the story or me (I have liked Chant's writing in the past).
Irina is an artist that makes ends meet by multiple waitress jobs. She grew up in the Adirondacks and inherited a cabin there when her grandmother died. Irina has been bouncing between the Adirondacks and NYC, unable to settle.
Grant is a panther shifter that grew up being raised by a single, human mother. His father was a panther shifter but ran out on his mother when she was pregnant and never returned. Grant has some concerns about finding his mate because he's worried that his panther nature will cause him to leave his mate like his father left his mother.
Irina is lucky enough to have a friend that runs a gallery and manages to get Irina spots for a few of her paintings in a show. Irina is rather shy and isn't pleased to be in any amount of spotlight but she's determined to stick it out and take the opportunity that she's been given. Irina is cornered by a rather brusque woman but is thankfully saved by Grant. Grant had actually attended the gallery to see if he could get info on a missing friend. Grant notices Irina as soon as he walked in and he knows instantly that she's his mate. Grant decides to woo Irina, determined to win her as a human and planning to hold out as long as he can before telling her his secret.
Irina works a lot so there's some issues with scheduling their dates but Grant makes it clear he'll take whatever time Irina can spare. They haven't gotten very far in their dating when some trouble turns up that has to do with Grant's shifter nature and it puts Irina in danger. Grant is able to save her and settle things so that he and Irina are together and heading towards a HEA when the story ends.
This was an enjoyable story. Irina was a bit shy at first but she was willing to take the chance with Grant despite her shyness and I liked that. Grant was a pretty good hero...it was mostly his unfamiliarity with his shifter nature that caused issues at first and he got past that. As I said above, I didn't fully engage in the story (not sure why) but I also didn't have any serious complaints. I found it to be a good story overall. :)

This is a paranormal romantic suspense with a panther shifter hero. The story draws you in from the start, captures and holds your attention. I thought the character development was good and I liked the pairing of Grant and Irina. The book isn’t exactly a standalone. Grant and Irina’s romance is complete but the mystery is unsolved; there are unanswered questions and an ongoing storyline.

airing has been running her whole life, from home, then school, then home again. She has been bouncing back and forth between the city and her home in the Adirondack Mountains. Her love is art and painting, but her waitressing is what pays the bills for now. At least until her art ever sells. Which is how she ended up at the Gallery with her paintings on display. Her best friend and roommate Clare just happens to manage a local Gallery and was able to convince the owner to take a chance on Irina. And this is the night that changes her life forever! Not only does she meet the man of her dreams, but that man is about to take her on an adventure of a lifetime, one neither of them expects. She finds love and finds herself selling her art faster than she can get them framed!
What a fantastic read! Such excitement from beginning to end! Terrific characters that keep you enthralled. Love this story and the characters, can’t wait to read more about them and their family and friends!

An awesome plot! A great story, full of drama, danger, mishaps, mayhem, mystery, strange and weird twists and turns, secrets, and shifters. Will she accept all of his secerts? Will he get to her in time? It grabs you and keeps you till the end! Keeps you guessing and rooting for the good guy to win and get his girl. Will true love be enough to overcome the secerts he has been hiding?

Panther’s Promise is an intriguing tale full of mystery, jealousy, discovery, danger and perhaps that once in a lifetime kind of love for Grant and Irina.
Irina is an art student who has left school in order to pay the bills, she waitresses in pop-up restaurants or on her normal shifts. She’s a talented painter, and her paintings of the beautiful mountains and caves of the Adirondack area are quite stunning. Her best friend has set up a showing in a fancy gallery, a place where Irina feels totally uncomfortable, and perhaps unseen by the patrons. She has a tendency to run from those situations, but she’s promised not to this time… although if she should run, she’d be running away from her destiny.
Grant is on a mission. He knows his best friend’s twin sister will be at this art showing tonight, and he’s determined to find out where he is. His sister certainly must know, that twins thing should be fully operational by now. Grant is a billionaire, panther shifter – a man with a human mother and a panther shifter as a no good, runaway father. He is not fully comfortable in either skin since his contact with other shifters has been somewhat limited. He has his best friend, and his lion pride, a bodyguard and a few friends. But for the most part he is alone. He’s not looking for his mate, in fact hopes he never finds her for he fears he’d be a terrible husband and father. Unfortunately for Grant, fate has other ideas this night and he’s about to get one beautiful surprise.
Panther’s Promise is full of danger, intrigue, and lies. Grant and Irina must survive in order to find their happy ending – and there are a lot of forces who do not want that to happen. I enjoyed this story very much, and although I know that it is not (at this time) a part of a connecting story or series it feels like it should be. The secondary characters shine with evil and goodness, the plot is thicker than thieves and there are questions just begging for answers. So, yes, I’m hoping that this story line will one day be expanded into a complete series with all the tantalizing characters we’ve met in this story.
This is a story that any Shifter Romance reader would enjoy. It has hot sexy moments, a good solid plot, likable characters and potential for more in the future. It ticks off all my “want more” buttons very well.

Letting Go of My Fears!!!
Irina Mathers a college dropout who worked as a waitress was finally getting a chance to show off her artistic side when her friend Clare decided to show Irina's paintings in the art gallery she worked in.
Grant Diaz, a Panther shifter who has never been completely comfortable with his animal side was looking for answers regarding a friend of his, Mathis Delacourt who had always been there for him growing up. And the only person who held those answers was Francine "Frankie" Delacourt.
When Grant found Frankie, he didn't expect to also found the one he and his panther had been waiting for, their mate. He knew Irina was theirs the instant they eyes locked and it felt as if she'd touched his soul.
Grant's fears regarding Irina finding out about his panther and how he needed to protect her from him and his animal was a normal reaction for a man of didn't had a great role model growing up.

Irina hasn't had the easiest life, losing her parents when she was young and then losing the Grandma that had raised her. After taking a six month sabbatical to paint in her old home town, she has come back to work many waitressing jobs. Her best friend and roommate Clare has arranged for her paintings to be on display at a gallery, but unbeknownst to Irina, this will change her life forever. Grant has been searching for his best friend Matthias who he hasn't seen in over six months. Knowing his twin sister Frankie is an art enthusiast, he goes to a gallery opening to try and find out what she knows about Matthias' whereabouts. When he walks in and sees who Frankie is taking to, he knows why his senses have been on high alert all night, it's her, his mate, and she's crying. Despite never wanting to really find his mate, his instincts take over and he jumps in to protect her. Now he must protect her from everyone and everything including himself and his past. But keeping his secrets is what could get them both killed.
I really enjoyed this book, and I'm hoping it's the start of yet another one of Zoe's great series. Grant and Irina are basically opposites in everything in life, but they are sweet together, that instant attraction in both sides. A great romance with a bit of mystery.

Just another for this lady. Again her writing details everything you want in a book, there is Adventure, Survival, Fear, Jealousy, Suspense, Action Packed, Loyalty, Hate, Lust, Love. Ms. Zoe has it all, you definitely want to read this book.
Irina Mathers is human, whose is trying to break into the artist world. Having your paintings in an art gallery for a big show is scary and suspenseful. Better yet meeting a gorgeous guy is the topping on the cake. What happens next is out of this world.
Grant Diaz is a Panther Shifter and a billionaire who was raised in the city by a human mother. Consequently the knowledge of his Panther's way of life was null and void since he didn't know another panther. Going to an art show to look for his friend or his friend's twin, what he found was a hole life changing experience. Is he ready for that? Will he be rejected? What is the Panthers way on this subject?

Trina is a young woman who spent one year at art school and then dropped out to care for her grandmother in a small cabin in the Adirondacks. Her grandmother has died four years previously and she has spent years tramping the mountains and painting landscapes. Her New York roommate manages a small gallery and convinces her to let her hang a few of her canvases in a show. Grant is looking for his missing friend's twin sister in hopes she will know where Mathis is. The minute he sees Irina he knows she is his mate. He starts to romance her, and she is kidnapped on their second date. She thinks it is for ransom, but it is more sinister. It is a great story with a happy ending. Book two in the series is about the missing Mathis. I hope there are more than these two as they are unusual and very interesting. Ms. Chant is a skilled writer and I highly recommend her books. She also recommends other authors at the end of this book. Think I will try them.

Irina Mathers doesn't feel as though she is worthy or good enough in what she does. Her first love is art. Will she be able to believe in herself enough to soar? Will she let Grant into her life?
Grant is a Panther shifter with abandonment issues. The fear of like father like son is causing issues between he and his other half. Will these two ever get together as one? Can Grant let himself truly feel and admit he cares for her?

Panther's Promise is the 1st book in the Shifter Suspense series. What a fantastic book!!! If you love curvy women and panther shifters and intrigue and mates, then you will love this book! I laughed in spots and even wanted to reach into the book to shake some of the characters. The story of Grant and Irina is filled with so much that you can lose yourself in this book while reading it. I really could not put this book down until I finished it. (even if it was 3 am when I did so). This book is definitely one that I will be recommending to others and will be re-reading. I can't wait to read the next book in this series!

Panther's Promise was a perfect mix of fun, excitement, suspense, and romance, with a pinch of angst, skepticism, and self doubt tossed in for good measure!
Clare was a curvy artist, but only for fun, who compared herself to others, and consistently found herself lacking. Grant was a handsome confident man, until he laid eyes on Clare...then he began to babble!
They have several adventures after meeting, not all of them good. I suggest you read the story, and join them for the ride!

This was such a cute story!
Irina is a struggling artist working as a waitress to make ends meet
She finally catches a break when her paintings are display in a gallery.
Mathias was just trying to find his friend's sisters in the art gallery.
He found his mate instead.
The courtship between Irina + Mathias was so cute.
Both were a little unsure, because of their past.
However, Love conquers it all

Really enjoyed this quick story, characters were quite well developed and I really liked that Grant the H was not totally comfortable with his shifter side, made for a different spin on things.
Irina was a good h and I was glad to see them get a HEA. Right amount of drama and steam!
Look forward to any other books on the secondary characters.

Good story, well written with likable characters who love hard and live real. A fantasy that any reader can be swept away with. Dialogue was crisp and snappy, just the right amount of steam and an HEA that leaves you very satisfied and smiling. Recommend to any lovers of PNR.

Perfect paranormal romance with a curvy Irina ( a painter in the making) and Grant ( a panther shifter, not quite at ease with hiswild side). It has everything you want in a book, love, hot sex, intrigue and family !! If you like shifter stories with it all, this book is for you !! 4⭐'s . I really enjoyed Grant and Irina's story. An insecure artist and a sexy billionaire. He rescues her from her first art show because she's afraid it's not going to go very well and they end up spending time together and he realizes she's his mate and he's not sure how to tell her about his shifter side.

A little different
This book was a little different from the others by this author. That's one of the things I enjoy about her writing, that she doesn't follow a cookie cutter format. No spoilers here, so I'll only say I did enjoy it and I'm very curious to see more of these characters. Hoping she'll return to this world soon.

An excellent story
I chose this rating because it was a good story and I liked the characters. Will there be stories about Lance, Harley and will Mathis be found. Will they find out who is the anti shifters and what did Francine have to do with it. I would love to know. Panther Promise just left a mystery. Excellent book.

Great story with romance, adventure and shifters!
I really loved reading this story. Irina is a great character and so is Grant. They are perfect together. This story has a fast pace, an intense tone, a character oriented storyline with some action and vivid characters that have you rooting for them all the way. So if this sounds like your kind of shifter romance, enjoy!

Another great read
I have read all of Zoe Chant's books and they are all just amazing. As usual this one left me in suspense too, just imagining was is in store for the remaining characters. I can't wait to read some more.
