the more i read along, the more irritated i got.. i went into this book with an open mind.. giving her the benefit of the doubt that she is telling the truth.. but my gut instinct keeps telling me this is a story of fiction..
and it's not that i don't believe in mystical things.. almost magical things.. i do.. i believe that the Universe works in strange and miraculous ways.. that is why i chose to read this book in the first place..
first.. i don't like her writing style.. it's all dialogue.. that bothers me because so much of the dialogue isn't useful to the story.. it's filler.. i can't imagine people wanting to read a play by play of ever hum, haw, sigh and hiccup.. especially since it is all from memory, as she doesn't record these sessions or take notes during.. so the LONG dialogue is all from memory? hard to believe..

also, hard to believe this "story"..
i am Native American.. born and raised on a Reserve.. it bothers me some when people simply think they are Native because of want.. she was a Native in her past life, so that means she is Native now.. it doesn't work that way..

why does NO one else see these Dreamwalkers and Medicine men/women?

This is the first book I read by Mary Summer Rain. I found it in the summer of 1982. That was nearly 40 years ago now. I was studying dreams at the time. I bought the book by name alone, thinking it was about "dreams" ... little did I know it was a doorway into a Journey of a lifetime. I read Dreamwalker in one sitting and my life changed forever. I then bought every one of her books I could find and waited with bated breath for each new one.
Should you be so fortunate as to read her books, Dreamwalker if you please, be prepared to open your mind ... and your heart. They say the Truth will set you free, but it will first shake you and if you're lucky... wake you up.
And if you want to know, I am still walking that Path of Awakening, ever closer to my True Self, ever closer to Home.

I have read this book complete many times. Now it is a reference book I refer to often.

So many lessons to process and learn from. I have much to consider and learn about. If you only read 2 of Summer Rain’s books, Spirit Song and Dreamwalker would be my choices. If you choose not to read any of them, just remember to pause, lean-in, and listen carefully to Earth Mother as well as the trees and rocks. 🙏🏻

For such a short book, it was a deep and slow read - not that I found it difficult. I found it introspective. In a VERY good way.

Love

Mary Summer Rain, No Eyes, beautiful wisdom. I would recommend reading Spirit Song and Phoenix Rising first. These books are invaluable to those seeking love and wisdom. How I wish I could have the opportunity to meet and learn personally from such wise Spirits.

This didn't grab my interest as quickly as No Eyes but it was just as interesting. I totally enjoy Mary Summer Rains writing.
