Misa Nanase is a normal senior high school student except for the fact that she is a self-proclaimed ultimate-mega-ultra-omnipotent fujoshi queen of the intergalactic multiverse. One fateful day, she saves an old lady from getting hit by a car. In return, the old lady gives her an ocean green pendant and mentions that she can make any wish using it. Later on, the curiosity of the fujoshi gets the best of Misa...and she wishes to become a guy!
This story is wayyyyyyyy too over the top and just so many useless new characters just popping up out of nowhere. I wouldn’t have minded this gender bend if it was a hella interesting but my god, it was a brutal read tbh..🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈
Not a yaoi per se (Misaki is a girl who one day wished to have a boy body, not because she is a trans, but because she wants to, in her own words "I wish I can grow a dick so I can penetrate a guy!" 🤣🤣 she is crazy about BL). Misaki is one of the funniest manga female character I've read so far; she is a true perv, she is never shy and embarrassed and she is never intimidated. She just wants to enjoy reading smutty yaoi manga.
Just a glimpse of a guy getting ravished by another guy makes me hot and bothered. This is my shameless confession. Don't you dare judge me!
To his poor male friend (who unbeknownst to her, is crazy for her): Gosh Kazuo! You have yaoi hands! You know, for groping, fingering, and other fun stuff.
And once she is a guy: "Bang! Bang! Watch out, boys! You better look over your butts 'coz I'm here for the taking.
She may be the embodiment in a over-the-top way of every yaoi fan, or as they say, of a fujoshi (awful term).
Japanese animation and comics have had a huge influence on the media produced today, honestly speaking though, this was overall really well made. Now days there are more and more western comic artists whose style is inspired from anime/manga. This gives me hope in wanting to make comics, as that is my dream job.
Now onto the manga, like I was saying, it was damn good. The art is amazing, the plot was actually very different and the title literally describes the story! The characters are pretty good too, and realistic. I found this one really funny to read, but enjoyed it a lot. I think it's better than majority of the low quality BL I've read, and instead of using dumb cliches, they came up with a really original idea. The anatomy is honestly on point, and honestly I am proud of both the writer & artist.
Painfully bad translation and so many cringe moments, even when depicting some truth of a high school age. Also absolutely no payout - I can't believe there was a full manga with absolutely no money shots - they're anticipating it's good enough to keep going to three more volumes to reach that ending?
This is just a series of yike! I picked it thinking it wasn't involving minors (they're seniors in high school). But beyond that, it was yikes because of how much sexual assault and fetishization is going on.
Really, really funny! I don't actually usually read/like yaoi (more of a slash fangirl) but I was smiling through this volume. Quality art as well. Basically it was like, 3x better than I expected.
not a good quality book (plot, worldbuilding) but you didn’t come here for that. The book is funny. A beautiful tribute to fujoshis everywhere whdvdvsbxj
OMFG. I NEED to read this. Because I was just thinking yesterday that I'm probably an UKE in my past life. LMAO. Fujoshi dream. YES. And I haven't read it yet just the reviews of some here who bothered to write. And I'm already laughing my ass out. LMAO.
I know this is probably a satire on the absurdity of yaoi manga, but I just effing hated how clichéd it is. I may even say this is garbage (and I've read the original Wattpad story concept).
