I received this book in a giveaway to which Catherine promptly sent it with a very nice note. I have been a very reluctant adopter of social media and thought this book would help me get on board. The book is not so much for an individual stepping into various forms of social media though. It is targeted to people trying to start a blog, a youtube channel or some other type of web presence that want to know how to maneuver the digital world to link your presences--thereby minimizing effort to maintain all of them---building relationships with your readers/customers, being "found" in Google searches, etc. It was a fascinating read, full of valuable information and details for someone seeking that purpose. I recommend it for web entrepreneurs and will be passing it to my daughter as she has interests in this area. Thanks, Catherine!
I bought this book because my therapist recommended it. He was also a friend of hers. The book is completely out of date and these were not even best practices when it came out (I know because I was a social media manager at the time). Further, the book is 66 pages and explain why the only public 5 star is the author herself? Paul, you owe me the money I spent on this book.
