Get Books 4-6 in the Bourbon Springs Series in this box set. Included works:
Distiller’s Choice (Book 4): CiCi Summers isn’t used to being the center of gossip in Bourbon Springs and she doesn’t like to date divorced guys. But she can’t resist Walker Cain, the new master distiller at Old Garnet Bourbon Distillery. Will her choice to make an exception for the new hot nerd in town be the right one?
Cedar and Cinnamon (Book 5): Harriet Hensley and Goose Davenport don’t share much in common—or so people think. But after one wonderful, secret night, they’re not allowed to see what happens next. Years later, can they pick up where they left off or will history repeat itself?
Distilled Heat (Book 6): Pepper Montrose has only known bad luck for most of her life. But when incredible good fortune strikes, her life is irrevocably changed by unexpected good fortune—as well as an unexpected encounter with Jon Buckler, her lifelong best friend.
Jennifer Bramseth is the author of the Bourbon Springs Series and Bourbonland Series of contemporary romances, and the Devil Springs Cozy Mysteries. She is a Kentucky native and lifelong resident who lives next to a horse farm and within minutes of several bourbon distilleries.
I absolutely love this series! Reading about all The characters and how they are intertwined and genuinely like each other. Reading how they each have to work to keep relationships going and finding there can be a second chance if you are willing to compromise. It always makes me happy to read about my home state and some of my favorite places to visit!
Escape to the town of Bourbon Springs in this delightful box set. I haven't read the first three books (yet) but that didn't matter because I was able to pick up on the characters, setting, etc. Each book is a standalone with intertwining storylines. Highly recommend!
Distiller's Choice: Cici doesn't normally date divorced guys but she can't resist the attraction of the new master distiller, Walker Cain. Are they a perfect blend or will they clash? I loved Cici and the descriptive storytelling immersed me in bourbon country. *licks lips*
Cedar and Cinnamon: Harriet and Goose are opposites, but after a secret tryst years ago, can they overcome their differences to be together? I loved this story! Filled with angst and a strong attraction, it was fun to read their love story.
Distilled Heat: Pepper has had her fair share of bad luck but her luck changes and she's left to talk things over with her best friend. Can Pepper and Jon be together romantically or are they forever in the friend-zone? A fun friends to lovers romance that I loved! Pepper was trying at times but it just made the ending that much more satisfying.
I liked reading the set, but the author made the female characters too darn dramatic and a little whorish! It seems that all of their relationships started out being sexual! Harriet had the need to tell EVERYTHING to anyone that would listen and Pepper just seemed like a red headed air head. There was a few times when I was completely lost when a question would be asked to someone and the author would go on and on with stuff from the past before giving the answer! The men only seemed to be interested in getting laid and quickly became pussy whipped! It was ok, but the male characters should've been more manly!
This is a 4/5 only because Goose and Harriet's story is a little boring for me. It took a little long to get to the meat of the story but I love the overall characters and way they fight eachother and their feelings before eventually finding their way back to each other. Can't wait to read the next installment in the series...
Heartfelt love and steamy set of books revolving around whiskey and horses in good ole KY
I love how these friends are all intertwined in each book. The characters are rich in heart and teach good values. So much like a life I would want for myself and everyone I know. If you love a good read that you can't put down you'll love this whole series.
I loved reading these books set in the Kentucky Bourbon countryside because I live in Kentucky not far from there. They were true to life and will bring to life this area for anyone who reads them. The love stories with their complications were great they kept you wondering if things were going to work out. Would recommend these to anyone who loves to read!
I have to say that this is one of my favorite series of all times! It has a great story line and still gives bits about previous couples. It tells the stories of sweet love making and not overly vulgar. The other thing I like about these books is the "real life" ups and downs. Thank you for such great reads!
I was so glad to finally meet near family members and hear their stories. Jennifer's writing is so believable I felt like I was in Kentucky. I can't wait to see what's in store for the rest of the gang. I'm sure there's going to be hilarious moments for births and proposals!
While I love reading about everyone in Burbon Springs, six books in a row was a bit much for me. You get too into people's lives, the way they all intertwine. You also get bored after a while because you can see the end coming a mile away.
Don't get me wrong, these books are very well written. I, personally, just shouldn't have binged on six in a row.
Second chances for each of the couples in these stories. And its wonderful to see the rest of the weddings and the new arrival's in way if the next generation. Can't was it to get the 3rd set.
It is easy to follow and relate to the characters and their circumstances. I didn't want to put it down and was anxious to get back to it. A very good job of trying from one book to the next. Thanks for your work. ☺
I. Absolutely loved the storyline to this entire box set. The characters were interesting and I could imagine what they looked like and their personalities. I could not wait to begin the next love story.
Fabulous books written by an amazing Author. Loved the characters and their lives in this book. I recommend it to anyone who wants a good bit of history as well as a great bunch of stories.
A wonderful set of stories. As a Indiana native living just across the Ohio from Henderson and Owensboro I grew up hearing about bourbon and horses. The beauty of Bluegrass, carried in my heart as I am now living several states away.
Just finished reading the first 3 books and absolutely loved them. The books gave some great history of the bourbon industry in Kentucky. You will also fall in love with the characters. The books pull you in and you dont want them to end
I have read the first and second box sets in this series and would recommend them to anyone who likes romance, friends and family. The characters are believable and easy to like and the stories are well developed and interesting.
Once again got me hooked. All three stories of love given a second chance. Couldn't get enough of them. Loved the story line and the romance. Wonderful characters. On to the third box set. Thank you for the stories.
This part of the series was even better than the first, I am hooked!!! I just purchased the third part & seriously can not wait to start reading them!!
