They were opposites, a complete mismatch of wants, and furthering their relationship would only hurt them more when it ended.

photo Probst SHSW teaser 2 1_zpsjywvywyu.jpg

SOMEHOW, SOME WAY is the latest installment of the Billionaire Builders series and although it is a novella and the Hero and Heroine are not officially members of the Pierce family, it may have actually been my favorite so far. The theme that keeps playing out in these books is the ”Enemies to Lovers” trope which I can’t seem to get enough of because the passion burns hotter between two people who start off seemingly at each other’s throats whenever they’re in the same room together.

Charlotte Grayson, design and rehab specialist, is one of the newest additions to Pierce Brothers construction. She is a spirited and independent woman who pretty much everyone loves—everyone except for Brady Heart. Brady is Pierce Brothers’ architect and also one of the partners of the company. He’s been a close friend to the brothers for years and the brothers consider him to be a brother rather than just a friend. Brady is just as strong willed as Charlie, and he’s got a temper to match hers as well. Whenever these two are within the vicinity of each other they’re guaranteed to get into heated arguments.

photo Probst SHSW teaser 1 1_zps3iauixpt.jpg

They are forced to work together when the Pierce Brothers find out that Charlie has bought a house that she wants to flip, that’s located in a less than desirable area. Brady is the one chosen to work on the rehab with Charlie in order to ensure her safety. Being the fiercely independent woman that she is, this arrangement doesn’t go over with her so well in the beginning, but when they are able to work amicably together, both Charlie and Brady start to realize that they may have misjudged each other. There’s also an undeniably strong attraction that has been building between them for quite some time and that it may have even fueled the tension that they’ve always felt around each other.

The two inevitably give in to the passion that they can no longer deny exists within them and when they do, let’s just say I wasn’t the least bit disappointed in the steam that was generated by these two! Charlie and Brady are consumed by their white-hot attraction for one another but their path to a happily ever after isn’t clear of obstacles, and they’re pretty big ones at that. Brady has grown up with old fashioned values. He’s looking for a woman to settle down and have kids with, who will stay at home and take care of the family while he goes out and makes the money. This is the antithesis to what Charlie is all about and no matter how much in love she is with Brady, there’s no way she would ever give up on her career to become a homemaker.

Will they be able to work out their differences, or will Charlie and Brady have to walk away from one of the best things that have ever come into their lives?

SOMEHOW, SOME WAY is currently available and definitely worth a one-click!

I'm rarely stunned in that exilirating way that I am slapping myself all over as for why haven't I picked this book sooner...

Nevermind, I m glad I did...

It had everything I love and seek in a enemies to lovers trope and opposites attract pent up anticipation...

The story is fueld with it, every line of dialogue is charged with sassy bickering, passionate strong willed banter of totally opposite strong hold opinions of two equally stubborn people, each holding each own, owning it through and through, until the circumstances make them work together in tight and close environment, where there's no space for backing away and then they can't supress the burning chemistry between them...

But can they overcross their differencies and opinions on love, life, family, for the sake of that overwhelming feeling that neither of them can deny nor ignore...

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK

And amazingly so, it's considered a novella of 120 pages...and it's fucking perfection. So it's a total win for me.

Brady Heart is a gorgeous 35 yr. old architect. He's a full partner at Pierce Brothers Construction where he works with his best friend from college Cal, and his two brothers. The Pierce's are like family to him. Brady has it all, everything he's always wanted, except marriage & family. He wants a lasting relationship, not just a quick roll in the hay. He grew up in a traditional type family & knows exactly the kind of woman he's looking for. She must be kind, conservative, polished, soft spoken, have manners, & be ready to settle down.

Charlotte Grayson aka Charlie is a beautiful 25 yr. old confident, free spirited woman who grew up poor & appreciates the simple things in life. She knows who she is, and is proud of the woman she's become. She's independent, impulsive, fun, & likes to be spontaneous. She hasn't found a man yet that could hold her attention. What really did it for her was renovation. She got her joy from ripping apart houses. Flipping dilapidated properties for a profit had become her passion. She was newly hired by Pierce Brothers Construction & now working full time, and beginning to carve out a name for herself.

Charlie has an amazing opportunity come up to buy a home she can transform. She's so excited to have a place of her own to dive into. She wants to build her career, and thinks this project would give her career that extra push. The only issue is the home is in a dangerous neighborhood, & the Pierce brothers don't think she's safe to work there alone.

 photo BEDD4F29-739F-414A-A07E-A42986E83D10_zpsm72ipppb.jpg

Pierce Brothers sexy architect with the attitude shows up to help out. Brady always looked at her as if he found her lacking. He was elegant, intense, judgy, chauvinistic & had a huge ego. She hated she often had to go to him for approval on Pierce projects, & didn't want his help with her personal project. She didn't want or need a babysitter, but apparently her employers wouldn't take no for an answer.

Brady doesn't want to be anywhere near Charlie, but he's stuck working with her & sharing the same space. He's hoping they can renovate the house without killing each other. He felt she always went out of her way to make his life miserable. She drove him crazy & knew just how to ignite his temper. He believed in structure & despised chaos. He felt she was flighty & impulsive. They were complete opposites in every way. She was constantly pushing his buttons with her sassy attitude, but he guessed he could tolerate her on a limited basis. He just hated he was so attracted to her.

Charlie can't stand Brady, but tries to get along to work together. He was the only person at work she clashed with. He was just so serious all the time. He had a dominant personality & always wanted to be in control. He was uptight & she soon learned his views on women were archaic. She thought his old fashioned views were rediculous, & he frustrated her. He seemed to like riling her up. He likes order, and is a planner, & they have totally different philosophies on relationships, so why is she so attracted to him. The longer they work together & banter, the harder it is to fight their sexual chemistry.

 photo 897C756A-D03A-4298-A02E-AE736289163E_zpsurmpqs6o.jpg

-"Did you ever stop to wonder what it would feel like to let go of all that control, even for one night?"

-What was happening between them lately? Why was she suddenly so aware of him?

-"Take the chance. I'll give you what you want. What you need."

-"You just have to say yes."

 photo 1C391CD3-87F5-4BC2-8E00-1AEC0D3C7190_zpsqijh22fh.jpg

The last thing Brady needs is a woman like Charlie, but he can't help how badly he wants her. He didn't like things messy in work or relationships, but he suddenly couldn't control his feelings for this infuriating, complicated woman. She didn't play games, & she truly made him happy. He didn't plan to fall for her, but he did. He felt so connected to her, & her joy was contagious. She balanced him out & he was hopelessly infatuated with her. She was slowly wrecking all his ideals & was all he could think about. She changed him & brought out the best in him, but can they compromise enough to have a future together, or are they too different.

I loved this book so much! This whole series is amazing! Just adored Brady Heart. This was such a sexy, fun, smoking hot read!

-I happen to crave you, Charlotte, and it's not going away anytime soon.

-"I want you dirty and needy. I want you begging. I want you so hot for me you'll do anything I demand."

-He spoke to her soul in a way she'd never experienced and transported her body to places she'd never gone.

-The hunger was always there between them, burning bright, but as days passed, it grew into more tenderness, adding an extra layer that intensified the bond between them.

Jennifer Probst nailed it! Yes, pun intended but honestly, Probst had me swooning and loving Somehow, Some Way so hard. This novella was everything and so much more as readers will discover that knocking down walls is so much fun especially when two complete opposites hammer out their differences and discover the existing foundation of love that was building between them.

#Somehow, Somewhere (1)

Charlotte Grayson aka Charlie is one feisty, smart and savvy self-sufficient woman. She loves rebuilding and fixing up things. Nothing is ever wasted as she sees potential in everything including old homes. As an employee of the Pierce Brothers Construction, she takes her job seriously since she knows what it means to work hard, having grown up poor.

Bolivar Randy Heart aka Brady is one of the partners of Pierce Brothers Construction. Brady is one of those traditional men who grew up in a household where the man financially supports their family. He has witnessed his mom and sisters fall into their domesticated roles and haven’t heard them complained and so Brady hopes to find a traditional wife like his mom and sisters.

photo c5d6b7923ea5e75ed13fb207c91378_zpsqssutmti.gif You’ve ripped away my ideas and my plans and my control. You make me laugh, make me want to throttle you, fuck you, kiss you, take care of you. I thirst for you, Charlotte. Every damn day, I thirst for you.”

Brady is the complete opposite of Charlie. Brady likes fancy and over the price things whereas Charlie is extremely frugal. He likes clean lines whereas she is a little funky and different. But one thing that they both have in common is their sexual attraction to one another and it was only a matter of time when things begins to heat up.

#Somehow, Somewhere2

When Charlie and Brady finally admit their attraction and feelings for one another, walls are being torn down and a new sense of love and possibilities begins to bloom between them. The notion of wanting a traditional woman begins to take a back burner as Brady begins to realize that he only wants Charlie. He wants her vibrant, unique, and independent spirit. He wants Charlie as is. But what happens when Charlie begins to fear that she can’t be enough for Brady as he wants the wife, children, and traditional life? Will Brady show her that she is more than enough somehow, some way.

photo c5d6b7923ea5e75ed13fb207c91378_zpsqssutmti.gif The kiss deepened, lengthened, stealing her breath and her heart and everything in between. And that’s the exact moment she tumbled head first into love with Bolivar Heart.”

So if you are looking for a romance book whose foundation was built on trust, understanding, communication, passion and love then I highly recommend you to read Somehow, Some Way. Go on and discover this romance that was constructed and built on Probst heartfelt prose and amazing cast of strong characters.

I LOVE THIS SERIES SO MUCH! When I heard Brady and Charlie were getting a novella, I about FREAKED the FREAK OUT! You don't understand, all of these characters are INCREDIBLE! They are so far embedded into my heart, there is just no getting rid of them EVER! Don't be worried if you haven't read any books in the Billionaire Builder's series yet, because SOMEHOW, SOME WAY can be read as a complete standalone. But just let me say, after you finish this one, you will want to go back and dive into the beginning. I guarantee it! It's completely and utterly ADDICTING as HELL!

"Oh, the bad things I intend to do to you, Charlotte."

Can we just take a minute and bask in the alpha-ness that is Brady Heart?! I mean, THAT MAN just gave me the shivers with EVERY SINGLE THING that came out of his mouth. And Charlotte Flowers? She is another incredible character. She is strong. She is sassy. She stands up to Brady and gives as good as she gets. Together, these two look horrible on paper, but when they are in a room together, the sparks fly all over the damn place. It's HOT. It's INTENSE. It's EVERYTHING!

"You tell me that you don't want me." He closed the distance, reached out, and yanked her against him. "You tell me you don't want me to rip off your clothes and kiss you. Fuck you hard and deep until you come for me so many times, you forget why we shouldn't be together."

OMG! I could read this steamy and passionate romance OVER and OVER again! I think Brady and Charlie are my two favorite characters from this series so far and that is saying a lot because they are all pretty incredible. If you've never read Jennifer Probst before, this is the perfect starting point for you, but be prepared to be put under her spell, because once you start, there is no going back.

Who doesn’t like enemies to lovers especially when it’s about co-workers who can’t stand each other?!
Charlotte Grayson loves her job, renovating and working for the Pierce Brothers Construction is simply put a dream come true for her and she also loves the people she works for all apart from the giant uptight architect, Brady.

Brady Heartt likes things in order, he isn’t as enamoured with Charlotte as the rest of the brothers are. He prefers structure and doing things a certain and his ideal wife happens to be a complete stepford wife. It’s too bad that he a case major lust for someone completely wrong for him.

Spending more time with each other working on Charlie’s new project, they find that they might have been incorrect about their judgements about each other. They become closer and becoming friends of sorts which of course gets made difficult when they decide to act on their attraction and later find out that their relationship is something very different and so is the partner from what they had in mind.

It’s a very relationship based book (which I really like) and I really liked them together. Obviously with their sparking chemistry, banter and taunting behaviour I ended really enjoying the book as a whole. I also liked their dynamic with the jackson, the boy who helped with Charlie’s project. It’s a fun little read for anyone who enjoy enemies to lovers romance.

I really loved Charlie, the heroine in SOMEHOW, SOME WAY. She's feisty, talented, passionate, determined, slightly chaotic, and never backs down from a challenge or from her own vision and creativity. Truly a strong, well-written character. Her work on home renovation projects for Pierce Brothers Construction taps into her need to breathe new life into houses and make them a home again. She loves her work and can't imagine ever giving it up. She's in no way ready to settle down.

Brady, one of the partners at PBC, is exactly the opposite. He has his life, including what his future wife will be like, all planned out and fitting inside the orderly lines he likes so much. He's certain she'll be a woman who will happily stay at home with his babies in the home he provides for her and eagerly depend on him to meet all of her needs. Oh, and submit to him completely in and out of the bedroom. As you can imagine, his completely out of control desire and attraction for Charlie rocks his world. It's bad enough when it's an occasional interaction at the office, but having to work side-by-side every day... and she's in charge?

The arguments... the sexual tension between these two was off the charts. Ms. Probst creates a nice build-up (pun intended) between the two that finally culminates in so much heat I felt a little singed. The dancing scene was artfully and passionately written. Brady and Charlie have many differences to decide if they want to overcome or not, sexual compatibility is not one of them. Great story. 4 stars

*Update: I really liked reading the ebook. But my second "read" was an audiobook and the narration was so bad it was too much of a distraction to get all the way through it. The female narrator was great as Charlie, but in her Brady voice sounded like someone had hit the slo-mo button. The male narrator was just so-so period. Very stilted. Stick with print or ebook. I DON'T recommend the audiobook.

~Complimentary copy received. All opinions expressed are my own.

Ahhhh loved ittt. 4.5 amazing 🌟 🤩 This was the best so far in this series, one more to go. Both Charlotte and Brady were so explosive together, I loved them both ❤️
I think they had the most chemistry so far, out of all the couples. The reason as to why this wasn't a straight 5 for me, had to be because of the H, Brady's ideas about having a wife who obeyed, traditional family blaa blaa. 🙄 Don't get me wrong, I don't judge people who believe in woman being the domestic one and taking care of the kids while their husband provides. But the H annoyed me with his incessant ideals and wrong assumptions/misconceptions about his own family. But other then that, loved it. 💖💖 And of course, he met Charlotte who gave him an alternative glimpse of life. 🥺🤍
On to the final book.

A lovely little trip into the Billionaire Builders world with architect Brady Heart and renovator extraordinaire Charlotte Grayson. From the get go these two just rub each other up the wrong way. He finds her to be impulsive, chaotic and flighty. She finds him to be stuck up, stubborn and snooty. When they're forced together on working on a house sparks fly, heated arguments ensue and what they've been trying to avoid comes to light. This was a nice, quick and easy read and perfect for the in-between moments.

I seriously loved the story of Charlie and Brady but let’s be honest here… the ending made Brady look so freakishly stupid. If he came to his revelation by himself, not because of what his parents told him, I’d have respected him much more. Sadly, all that came after just ruined my mood.

Title: Somehow, Some Way
Author: Jennifer Probst

5 amazing stars

All of a sudden, I wish I had read the Billionaire Builder's series by Jennifer Probst. Somehow, Some Way was funny, entertaining and had that perfect balance between sassy, snarky and sarcasm that I couldn't help but fall in love with Charlie's openness and Brady's (AKA whose first name shall not be muttered unless you want to be punished for using it) tightly set ways, beliefs and wants.

4 breath taking dreams

For so many reasons I connected with Charlie - I'm a rénovation junkie myself and can often be found with power tools in my hands and wild ideas in my mind. At the same time, I connected with Brady's need for control and logic, the basis of his life since without those, I'd be completely lost. As different as these two are, their differences made it that they complimented one another. I loved their adventure and I can't wait to read more from Jennifer Probst and from this series in the future!

Can I just crown Jennifer Probst "Queen of the Novella"? How is it possible to make me feel as if I know these characters in such a short amount of page time? I don't know how she does it, but this being the second novella I've read from her, I'm already convinced she can do no wrong.

So how 'bout those characters, eh? I'd already met Brady and Charlotte/Charlie in the first two books of the Billionaire Builders series, and while Charlie made a bit of an impression, Brady didn't really register. After getting to know them in "Somehow, Some Way" though, I'm not sure how I missed them. I loved Charlie, and I could relate to her frugality and sense of style, as well as her slight insecurity around Brady. His posh wardrobe and serious demeanor came off as intimidating, if not downright rude. I didn't really like him much in the beginning, to be honest. How on earth were these two going to hook up? They were such opposites, I couldn't see it happening at all.

I never should have doubted. The heat and tension gradually grew until that first kiss, and holy hotness, I practically had to fan myself! It was smokin', and I loved every moment! If you're looking for a short, sweet, sexy, hate-to-love tale, look no further than "Somehow, Some Way".

Scorching sexual tension and wild passion.

Jennifer Probst have such a way with words that she can make me feel the exact degree of intensity, joy, anger and desire.

Brady is a friend of the Pierce Brothers and work for them. He have strict ideas and distinct trait he wants in a woman. Charlotte is everything his list is not. She irritate him because she mess with his breaks alimentary routine and because he doesn't want to be attracted to his sassy coworker. When they met, he didn't make a good first impression to her, being rude, rigid and macho.

"Oh, he was so uptight she wondered if he'd ever gone commando or skinning dipped or eaten ice cream in bed just for fun."

But when our hero have to help Charlie restore and rebuild a house, it give them the chance to finally learn to know each other for real and you can bet your ass that putting these two together will bring sparks and firecracker before it can be the perfect match. And when someone crash into the house, they'll find themselves with an other helper for the renovations.

The dance scene at the bar was pretty memorable. I talked about the author's talent before, but this scene show exactly what I'm talking about. You can feel the tension, the heat, the sizzling arousing pheromones.

If it was a longer story and not a novella, we could have seen the progression of the protagonists falling in love instead of being told about it.

Lately, I seemed to favor the sweet and kind hero but I'll never forget that opposite attract trope and love/hate relationship was my first love in romance, and I'll always like when things are getting spicier ;p

I wanna add that I really liked the heroine way to see and take life and her explication for why she choose her job.

If you're a fan of romance novel and haven't read a Jennifer Probst's book before, it's a must !

What fun this was! Charlie and Brady learned so much about themselves and each other. It was great to watch them realize that what they thought they always wanted might not be the thing that was right for them :) I also loved Charlie's decorating ideas for the house. Totally fresh and I'd love to have her come do my house LOL

I guess there's feminism running through my veins. It makes my heart glad to watch a woman go toe to toe with the big boys. Charlie does not back down from a challenge. She speaks her mind, follows her heart and has the confidence that most people wish they had. Underneath all the bravado lies a scared little girl, craving acceptance in a male dominated field. Brady is both nemesis and anchor. He pushes her, steadies her and shows her it's okay to be vulnerable. Brady and Charlie are a sassy mix of heart, heat and frenemy that makes for some sticky situations but dishes out some fun times as well.

This was a perfect Saturday read.....

Brady and Charlie hating each other (supposedly) at the beginning makes them ending up working side by side on flipping Charlie’s house all the more hilarious as their banter leads them to like each other more and more with every passing day.

I adore Charlie. I think she’s a wonderful heroine. She knows what she wants, she’s very true to herself and she’s not afraid to speak her mind, even at a cost to her own happiness. Charlie is a great surprise!

On the other hand, I think Brady is one of the male characters I didn’t fall for. I mean, he’s a decent guy, never led her on, and is mostly true to himself. If only he knew what’s true and what isn’t.

I think this novella is a must read for anyone enjoying Probst’s BB series. It’s light, thoughtful, entertaining, funny, swoony and very very sexy. It’s a great ride towards finding love, and it’s a fun lesson in letting go of misconceptions.

SOMEHOW, SOME WAY is a bit of a departure as the story line focuses on friend, architect and business partner thirty five year old Bolivar Randy (Brady) Heart, and office administrator Charlotte Flowers. SOMEHOW, SOME WAY can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from previous story line is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Charlotte and Brady) SOMEHOW, SOME WAY follows the acrimonious relationship between Pierce Brothers’ office administrator Charlotte Flowers, and architect Brady Heart. From the moment our couple met, the back and forth palpable sexual energy has elicited a less than friendly relationship between our leading couple. Brady Heart views Charlotte as a flighty, immature woman without a care in the world; and Charlotte views Brady as a high strung, chauvinistic, although sexy, dominant, and handsome, insufferable male. When Charlotte buys her first property to flip, the men of Pierce Brothers Builder devise a plan to keep their employee safe in the questionable neighborhood in which she bought. Enter Brady Heart, the man who reluctantly volunteers to ‘babysit’ Charlotte Flowers, and the woman who will open his eyes to a possible future outside of his current comfort zone.

Charlotte Flowers is not your typical twenty five year old-a little eccentric with questionable taste in clothing and design-but a woman who knows what she wants and goes for it. Brady Heart was raised in a traditional family where his parent’s marriage leads by example-an example Brady one day hope to emulate.

The relationship between Brady and Charlotte struggles with preconceived notions, and Brady’s inability to see past Charlotte’s colorful exterior. The sexual energy is palpable fueled by their inability to see beyond the anger. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense. Brady likes control in the bedroom.

The secondary and supporting characters include Caleb, Dalton and Tristan Pierce, as well as Brady’s large extended family who are the personification of everything Charlotte is not. We are also introduced to thirteen year old Jackson, a latch key kid whom Charlotte takes under her wing.

The world building follows Charlotte and Brady’s renovations for the house our heroine is going to flip, as well as Brady’s struggle with his attraction to a woman that, on the surface, is all wrong for his future plans.

SOMEHOW, SOME WAY is a spirited and spicy tale; an opposites attract /enemies to friends story line. The premise is intoxicating; the characters are charismatic and energetic; the romance is sensual and hot.

Book Review: 5 Stars

Somehow, Some Way is a hate/love story. Charlie and Brady work together but they can’t stand each other. They are complete opposites, like white and black, water and oil, or day and night. Brady’s methodic, organized and conservative— in every aspect of his life. While Charlie is creative, spontaneous, carefree and positive. Charlie started an independent project to renovate a house on her own, but once the Pierce brothers knew about it, they asked Brady to help her— more like to be her babysitter because said house was in a not-so-good area of the city, and they felt like they needed to take care of her —, so Brady didn’t have other option but to help her. And the fun begun. There were disagreements, sexual tension, heated arguments, and finally all that animosity shifted to something amazing.

I can’t decide who I love the most. Both Charlie and Brady were amazing, smart, funny, and once their wall were down, they were very romantic, and even though they were having a sexy affair, their professional relationship remained true, I mean, they kept arguing and disagreeing with each other, with the difference they could turn that sexual tension and frustration into something steamy and pleasurable for both of them. I was so happy they could find a middle ground about their expectations in relationships, and finally be happy together.

With every book I read by Jennifer Probst, I fall more in love with her writing, her characters and her stories. They are passionate, romantic, sexy, different and super entertaining. Plus, her books have the perfect amount of drama, which is very important for me.

Overall, Somehow, Some Way is 200% recommendable. It can be read as standalone, but if you wanna enjoy more the secondary characters, I suggest you read Everywhere and Every Way , Caleb and Morgan’s story, Any Time and Any Place , Dalton and Raven’s story and get ready to fall in love with Tristan and Sidney in All or Nothing at All , that will be published in July 25th.

Jennifer Probst’s Somehow Some Way is such a smart, sexy, fun read! I was riveted right from the first paragraph. This enemies to lovers novella is original but more importantly it is incredibly satisfying and refreshing like a glass of cold lemonade on a hot summer day.

Can two enemies and renovation/rehab experts who can not stand to be in the same vicinity of each other work together and renovate a home, thereby turning a negative into something positive and profitable? There is the rub…

What I loved most about this story was how the sexual chemistry and tension between Charlotte and Brady developed into a tangible connection that started off as a small ember but grew into an undeniable inferno. The initial fire that lurked beneath all of the animosity in their working relationship is immediate, palpable and intriguing.

“The air thickened with a low hum of electricity, as if preparing for a storm…” ~ Charlotte

Their heat is a physical force that shined brightly from their very first meeting and only intensified as their interactions continued, finally exploding in an encounter that I will remember for a very long time. These characters are so lovable and the way that the author portrays the fact that “opposites attract” is pure genius!

“She drove him nuts and was everything he wasn’t attracted to in a woman. Including her sassy attitude. Like now.” ~Brady

“She wondered how many stayed after they got a dose of his attitude. He must be on his best behavior to trick them.” ~Charlotte

“Why was it so much fun to rile her up? …Was it ego or something more?” ~Brady

Charlotte is such a Firecracker! I laughed out loud when she referred to her renovation project as a “boy toys” but it was her ambition, determination and desire to pave her own way in a male-dominated industry that greatly endeared her to me. And Brady…his character arc warmed my heart. At first he is wildly traditional in his viewpoints on dominance and submission and male and female roles in relationships. I found him uptight, controlling and old fashioned to the point where the feminist in me screamed for relief. However, by the end of the novel I was captivated by his growth and the very same traits that I initially found off-putting had me crushing on him in a major way!

Another attractive aspect of this novel is the quotes at the beginning of the chapters about construction and architecture; they added meaning and depth, especially considering how they could be applied to love and commitment. This novella reminded me of some of the television shows that I LOVE on HGTV about flipping houses but there was also a bonus of an incredibly moving, breathtaking love story added into the mix of breaking down the old and discovering something beautiful and new.

Never have so few words packed such a powerful punch! I rejoiced and cheered and I fell in love right along with these two characters.

Somehow, Some Way gets a resounding 2 thumbs up from me; I have no doubt that I will revisit this story again for the laughter, the inspiration and most of all, the love!

So read it!!!

That is this Naughty Girl’s Final Word.

Overall: 5/5 stars for hilarity, overwhelming love and blazing heat!

This is such a fun series. To watch the men of Pierce Brothers have their eyes opened and fall in love with those that seem their opposite is awesome. Once again Jennifer Probst has opposites attract and it is in a seductive way.

Brady is a great guy. A little old fashioned but great. He is loyal and kind. And he is somewhat dominant in all aspects. He believes that this is how his parents marriage has always been and they are happy so that is what he wants.

Charlie is the girl that has worked hard to get where she is. She is a rehab addict but thinks outside the box. she is also strongly independent. Her and Brady drive each other nuts. Watching them is a hoot at first. They do everything they can to annoy one another. We have the one that is inside the lines coming up against the artistic one and it couldn’t be better written and entertaining.

When the guys find out Charlie is flipping a house in a bad area Brady is the one chosen to go help her even though she doesn’t want it. AT first this arrangement gives us snark and awesome banter. We also see them shine as well. Over time we see the attraction grow and so does the respect. Brady starts to see Charlie as more and Charlie see Brady that way as well. they see beyond the misconceived notions of their opinions and really see who the other is but they also test each other and their beliefs. Brady feels stimulated and alive by Charlie. He respects her and sees her as a equal. He starts to question what he wants and goes on instinct and feelings. Charlie begins to see that there is more to Brady than meets the eye and loves what he does to her. And when not working holy batcave are they smokin together. That is where Brady truly dominates and Charlie lets him.

I get the feeling though he takes the relationship more seriously than her. As they renovate her house they grow closer and as individuals. Each one finds peace and love from the other. And they form a team. Charlie tries to deny it and even goes so far as to freak out and try to make choices for Brady but with the help of the Pierce brothers he gets his head out of the sand and fights for love.

The story is fun and the bantering is awesome filled with snark but also revelations. We see two opposites question themselves and find their way to one another. We see them form a love based on respect and friendship but also they see each other as equals. We get both Charlie’s and Brady’s point of view so all aspects are seen and the whole picture comes about. And when I say that I mean we see the growth of both and how they change and how they begin to change their thoughts on each other. The characters are so fun and likable. A quick sexy fun read that will keep you entranced and entertained to the end.

I have read the first two books in the Billionaire Builders series by Jennifer Probst and I enjoyed them. So I was quite excited to see that Brady was getting a novella too- he's not technically a brother but he might as well be one. So I jumped on the opportunity to be a part of the blog tour for Somehow, Some Way. I'll say it is completely not necessary to have read the previous books in this series to enjoy the novella but there are recurring characters and it's always nice to know their back story.

Okay, so confession time! I do not enjoy novellas very much. Like, I like them but I prefer full length novels to novellas. But I surprisingly did like Brady and Charlotte's story. Let's start with Brady. Brady is the architect who works for Pierce Brothers Construction. He has been with them since forever and is like a brother to them. But Brady is kind of set in his ways. He wants a traditional wife and a conservative family. I overall liked Brady but sometimes I found him annoying. His views on women were archaic and though I know he changes as the novella progresses I was completely satisfied with him.

Then we have Charlotte. Charlotte works in Pierce Brothers Construction and she grew up poor. She loves renovating old houses and basically hates all kinds of waste. She's a free spirit, not afraid to speak her mind and basically the complete opposite of Brady. The ten year age difference between them doesn't help matters any. But I liked Charlotte. She was true to herself and admitted when she fell in love with Brady.

Brady and Charlie may be opposites but they did attract. Their chemistry was good and Jennifer Probst is an expert romance writer. She manages to pull together various threads of the story while making the romance blossom. Though this is not my favourite read to date by Jennifer Probst it still managed to entertain me for a short amount of time. I liked Somehow, Some Way and I absolutely cannot wait for the next book in the series!

*Note: A copy of this book was provided by the author/publisher in exchange for an honest review. We thank them.

Somehow, Some Way by Jennifer Probst is the newest additions to the Billionaire Builders series. I love Jennifer Probst and her books. I'm always entertained to the point of laughing and crying! I've become very attached to these characters and I knew Brady and Charlotte's story was going to be something else. I've been intrigued by Brady from the very beginning. He's dark, handsome and very traditional. Very traditional. Charlotte is a free spirit. Incredibly good at what she does and smart, sassy and isn't going to bow down to any man. Brady is attracted to her, but she's everything he's not looking for in a wife. After they are forced to work together, he learns she's so much different than he thought. And they realize their chemistry is scorching hot! Brady always thought he wanted a submissive woman and Charlotte never thought she's want a domineering man in the bedroom. Man, were they both wrong. Can they compromise on what they thought they've always wanted and make it work between them? Will it be too much for them? I loved this story. It's sweet, hot, hilarious, and sexy. I laughed, I cried, I got hot and bothered. I love Brady more than I thought I would! His sexy eyes, that smile. Swoon! And Charlotte is the best! She's tough, not girlie but crazy sexy!

"Take the chance, I'll give you what you need. You just have to say yes."

"I thirst for you, Charlotte. Every damn day, I thirst for you."

"Open the door or I'll break it down."
"You wouldn't."
"Hell, yes, I would, and then your punishment will be worse when I spank your ass."

This book has laughs, steam, forgiveness, healing, and second chances.

If you haven't already I recommend you read the below first:
Everywhere and Every Way
Any Time, Any Place (Billionaire Builders #2)

This is Charlotte and Brady's story. Charlotte grew up poor so she appreciates the little things in life. But sometimes that can get her in trouble. When she goes after a job that takes the bad with the good will she deal with the good or the bad? Brady knows exactly what he wants and will not settle. But what happens when one woman makes him think of other things he might want. He wants a sweet and conservative woman but the woman who is tempting him is anything but sweet and conservative. Will he take a chance or miss the one woman for him?

I connected with the characters and look forward to the next in this series.

I recommend this book.

Such a sweet, sweet story! Jennifer knocked it out of the ballpark with Brady and Charlotte. I loved it! This one quickly sucked me in. I was lost in Charlotte and Brady's world. They had a mutual despise of each other. Except it was much more than that! They were raised very, very differently and both were quick to judge a book by its cover. When they were forced to work with each other, they had the opportunity to learn about each other. And even though they fought it, it was absolutely delicious to watch. They were what the other needed and not what either of them was looking for. Beneath his good looks and his 1950s role expectations, Brady was protective of those he loved, caring, generous and oh so sweet! I loved the banter between these two and I didn't want to leave their world. Another fantastic read from Jennifer Probst!

Not my favorite of the Billionaire Builders series so far, but I still enjoyed it. Passionated characters are as always not lacking and you are once again dive into the construction world.

In this novella, you watch how Brady, a dominant macho man with very conservative and archaic views on marriage will have his principles in life turn up side down by the young free spirit Charlie, a woman who is not afraid of standing for her ideas.

Brady will realize that love is not a clear perfect logical thing that can be controlled but rather something surprising where compromises are the key.

Bonuses for all the creative quotes at the beginning of each chapter and some funny innuendos.

Ps: if you are into some dom/sub hot scenes, you will like this one.

Ahh what can I say about this book! I love Jennifer Probst writing, I love this series, and this book was amazing! Brady, architect at Pierce Construction, thinks he knows exactly what he wants in his future wife, then the twister of Charlotte Flowers blows through his radar, and things change for him, including his direction of what he's looking for in a wife.
These two with their wild sexual chemistry, were an amazing paring, I totally enjoyed their banter and the fun they had. 5+ stars for this one in the 1001 Dark Nights books, Jennifer nailed this story! Grab your copy as soon as you can!!

It's good to have a man to take care anything, the bills, the work, but we all need the personal space to escape.

I can understood B's traditional thought, a stay in wife to take care everything. It should be in our 1980s, our place still ask women stay in home until more women finished their college, get their own degree. After decades, thing change, now women really want to stay in because the pressure, the demanding work life.

U know this is a choice, we make our own choice, not based on tradition, not men or women, the status, we r free to choose.

You know it's a good one when it's written by Jennifer Probst. You also know that it's not going to be typical but it definitely is extremely sexy and easily translates to real life. Somehow, Some Way is definitely a must buy if you love enemies to lover and a complete opposite attracts trope whose steamy and erotic sex scenes are definitely NSFW.

Part of the Billionaire Builders series, this stand alone novella will have you giggling and blushing with each page. Charlie and Brady are definitely one unique couple that will worm their way into readers hearts.
