Assaulted, murdered, and buried in a shallow grave. That's how I would've ended up, if not for him.
A hitman sent by the mob to find and kill my ex-boyfriend, he's rude and bossy, but he saved my life. He locks me in a room and tells me his name is Cage. Think about the irony.
Stuck with him and his demons, I learn more about him than I'd like to know. But it's the things I learn about myself that scare me. I find out that one look at his work-of-art body is enough to awaken wicked fantasies deep within me. I realize that I'm capable of falling for a rugged brute in a matter of days. I learn I like it rough.

He's haunted by his past. I'm terrified of the future. I know he will save me from the thugs that are hunting me.
But first, I have to save him from himself.

I am so glad I found the teaser to 'Caged' on Wattpad but to read the entire romantic/suspenseful story as an ARC was perfect.

This was Cage and Jenna's story. Cage, the flawed hero was a brooding hitman and heroine, Jenna, the spitfire club worker. Jenna's good-for-nothing boyfriend, Anthony Hunt stole from the mob and Cage was the hitman asked to bring him down at one of his clubs named Velvet. Jenna was beaten and left for dead but Cage kidnapped her as leverage to kill Hunt later. Sadly things don't go as planned for Cage because his little 'caged bird' Jenna is a whole lot more than she seems and after they learn to work together, their slow burn relationship well was literally ignited too brightly for them to avoid. I loved that sex was not the only thing keeping them together too. They honestly learned to like then love one another!

The author, Alaska Jones is truly a gifted writer who rounded Cage out in the end as the clever 'equalizer' with his sidekick, Lincoln and Jenna his permanent mate/partner riding out of L.A. to Tijuana with new identities and HEA!

I enjoyed that all the characters, primary and secondary popped off the page and had their own voices. From the good guys to the bad ones, they wore their roles well as memorable characters due to Jones' strong characterization skills so I would love to see Tina, Charlie and Lincoln in their own story (hint-hint).

5 LOVED, LOVED, LOVED, LOVED CAGE stars!!!!! *****

This ARC was given to me by the author for an honest review.

3.5 -4 Cage and Jenna Stars

I was delighted to receive an ARC from Ms Jones - Thank you very much.

This is not a genre that I read very often - a hitman, Cage is tasked with taking down a target who happens to have a girlfriend, Jenna, who is oblivious to the bad things her boyfriend (Hunt) is up to. Anthony Hunt is not a nice guy. At all. Jenna gets caught in the crossfire of the incident and Cage takes her with him.

As a hero, Cage is the epitome of dark and brooding but I loved the little humorous glimpses we got of him. His backstory has created quite the tortured hero. I liked watching him reveal layers of his character. He is passionate and strong ....as I said , very alpha =0)

Jenna...hmmm....it honestly took me a while to like her. One of her friend's talks about her having Stockholm Syndrome and it's easy to see how that could be the case. Cage definitely was drawn to her from the start and I think it was his viewpoint that I enjoyed more.

Overall a sexy and dramatic read.

I would read more from this author.

Thank you to the author for an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review

Anyone who has read most of my reviews this year must think I am an extremely greedy person. I don't have the heart to disagree. I was counting the other day and apparently, around 20 or so of the 60 books I have read this year were books I got from the author. Hence, note to self: please stop requesting for books next year because you have FAR TOO MANY books as it is that you SHOULD be reading. I think I need to put a ban on myself from reaching out to any author in 2017 'cause dear Lord, I am getting carried away.

Ahm, got a bit off-topic right there.
Back to Caged.
I would like to state that I didn't want to give this book 4 stars. It's more of a 3.5 stars read for me and I usually give those books 3 instead of 4 but oh well, 2016 is ending, it's a new beginning blah blah so I am feeling generous.
Caged is basically about a guy saving a girl from thugs and keeping her in his house, mostly out of safety. It definitely sounds like a hot read. Plus, the cover . The cover was probably why I even signed up for the ARC. Until I read the hero's description. Now, I don't judge others for what they like nor do I like to say what is right to be admired but personally, long-haired guys just.....creep me out. I don't know why this is; it's not like a guy with long hairs chased me on a street but damn, there is something about long hairs that seems like something more suited for girls. Again, it's my personal opinion. The point of my rant is to justify why from the point where the author describes the hero's description to the end, I just could not bring myself to feel attracted to the hero. The sex scenes seemed okay; I perused through them rather quickly, least bothered about who was on top and who was caressing who. Unfortunately, Jenna, the heroine, wasn't someone I liked either. She is strong, I give you that, which is something I like in my heroines. But dear God, was she annoying . And, biggest annoying factor of all, is one you can guess. Yep, insta-love . I.N.S.T.A.L.O.V.E
It takes me at least 3 months to decide whether I have a simple, innocent crush on a guy and it takes people in a book one week to fall hard in love. "Liking" someone is at least believable. But love? Oh well, I am willing to accept that maybe it happens to a few people (or at least a million people considering how many books proudly speak about characters falling in love in days or mere weeks).

Now, considering the fact that I didn't like the characters, it seems absurd that I'll give this book 4 stars. Blame Goodreads. Its rating is so weird; like either I can say I like a book or I love a book. Well, what about the books I liked a lot but didn't love? Or the books I didn't like but I didn't consider it just okay either? I am getting off-topic again.
Reasons why Caged got high rating:
-The story; it's complex, it has action, it has sex and if you eliminate the long hair, it can be enjoyable.
-The side characters: for the first time they aren't annoying. Even Jenna's best friend, didn't seem fake or dumb, which is a first in a long time for me.
-The killing plan: putting it simply, I am a sucker for stories with people chasing people and guns and blood (No, again, I do not want to kill anyone if I get a gun).
-The ending: it's satisfying, without loose ends. Moreover, it doesn't have too much cheesiness in it so you don't want to gouge your eyes out with all the love involved.
To conclude, Caged is one of those alpha-romance stories I think most people will enjoy.

The story started off with a rush of action, and I was immediately hooked into the story. I really enjoyed both main characters; they seemed like real people and real life circumstances (even with Cage being a hit-man anti-hero). I wanted them both to be happy, safe and healthy. I love the author’s writing style; no use of constant verbs to describe whose speaking, just enough to make it clear. I will definitely read more from her.

I’m not sure, but think this might be a first book for this author, so I'd like to give my one negative thought. There was a lot of narrative thinking, and not enough dialogue between this couple. The relationship build was there in too much thought and not enough conversation. I got the reason why they fell in love with Cage saving Jenna’s life so many times, and Jenna being so feisty. But, I feel there needed to be more words spoken between them. So, the romance build fell a little flat for me. Amazon says the book is 192 pages, therefore there would have been room for more dialogue.
Nonetheless, very, very, good read.

Not Your Usual Romance

I've been trying to figure out how to sum up this book and the only thing that comes to mind is that it's not your usual romance. What starts as a hero rescuing a damsel in destress takes a disturbing yet entertaining turn.

Cage is a man on a mission. His mission is to leave his old life behind and start anew. The only thing besides his old boss and one final job that stands in his way is a fiery red head named Jenna. He believes he is a bad person through and through but somehow Jenna aka his hostage gets under his skin. The same goes for Jenna. It's not everyday you find yourself kidnapped for your own safety and held hostage by a hit man. As much as she tries to hate him. He too gets under her skin.

Cage is smart and conniving. In this book when you think he's slipping up, he proves that every move has a purpose. This is what kept me reading. While I loved Jenna's fiery attitude and smart mouth, I loved Cage's mind more.

This book is filled with action, a good story, heat and touches of humor. Alaska Jones did a great job writing this unusual romance.

I was immediately pulled into this story but what really hooked me was the authors style of writing. This wasn't some cheesy romance...there was build-up, anticipation and the storyline wasn't rushed. I connected with the main characters and felt the push and pull between them. Alaska Jones raises the bar in the romance genre. It's hard to find a good story that doesn't make you roll your eyes or debate if you should finish the book. "Caged" was a page turner and kept me up all hours of the night! Hands-down one of my top 5 favorites this year!

Overall - this one just didn't hold my attention and I found my mind wandering and ultimately just skimming so I could be finished.

It might've just been my mood, and the Insta-love theme that always seems to bother me, so I will just leave this a 2.5 stars rounded up to 3 and move on.

Thank you to the author for the ARC of this book in exchange for a fair review.

Caged, by Alaska Jones, brings Jenna, a fiery, redheaded club singer together with hitman, Malcolm Cage, as he rescues her from attackers outside Club Velvet, her L.A. club. Groggy and alone, Jenna wakes in a strange room, in a strange bed with barely any memory of what has happened to her. Stumbling to the door, she jerks it open and what does she find, a naked man. What has she gotten herself into?

In this story of deceit and danger, Jenna and Cage are thrown together under extreme circumstances. Shockingly, Jenna realizes she is being held captive by Cage and after much pleading, Cage admits to Jenna that he is after her boyfriend, Anthony Hunt. Hunt, a criminal who has many enemies including the mob, is Cage’s target and what he hopes is his final job. Cage, a former Special Forces war veteran suffering from PTSD, has turned to life as a hitman in order to survive, but he is ready for his ticket out of his life of crime. What he doesn’t count on is his relentless attraction to Jenna.

To her surprise, Jenna is slowly falling for her captor as he swears to protect her and release her when it is all over. Several events transpire that build Jenna’s trust in Cage and she vows to herself to help him. Pursued by the police, the mob, and the many enemies he has made, Cage and Jenna desperately go on the run. Will their growing desire lead to more? Can Cage escape his life of crime?

In Caged, Alaska Jones tells her story by alternating between the first person points of view of Jenna and Cage. In this manner, the reader is able to get inside the heads of both characters to understand their motivations, thoughts, and feelings. Jones weaves a web of intrigue that pits the protagonists against many foes. This well-written, action-packed story keeps the reader engaged and the smoldering sexual tension between Jenna and Cage makes for a smoking hot read.

Overall, I rate this story 5 out of 5 stars. I enjoyed the glimpses inside both main characters, and their sexual byplay while dodging bullets makes for an exciting read. I recommend this book for readers who enjoy the erotic romance genre. If graphic sex scenes offend you then this story may not be for you.

Caged is a wonderfully sophisticated and exquisitely breathtaking journey that inexplicably stole my heart and made my pulse pound deliciously. There is nothing I love more than a story that stimulates my mind while setting my heart on fire, and this book had both in spades. I honestly couldn’t get enough of this wonderfully, fascinating storyline mixed with a delightfully, explosive cast of wonderful characters. I hated to see it end, but I savored every word and emotion it pulled from the depths of my heart.

Jenna watches her life helplessly change overnight. Before she knows what’s happening, everything is turned upside down and inside out. What she thinks she knows is no more, and what she sees before her is an unknown future with no guarantees. One huge thing in her favor is that she is no pushover. She knows what she wants, and she will do anything she can to get it. Cage is singularly focused on one goal – finish his last mission no matter and start his new life. He won’t let anything stand in his way. Not even the red headed beauty in his bedroom will distract him from this mission. What they both find is something that neither anticipated and which never fails to surprise them at every turn. Can Fate prove to be wise beyond all human understanding, or will it show just how devious it can be?

I just can’t get over how much I feel in love with this wildly unconventional romance. It still has me twisted up in knots over just how much I enjoyed it. I always felt like I had an open mind about things, but this proves that I might also have an open heart to all types of love no matter how it begins to grow and blossom. No matter what we can’t stop it, so why try to demean it no matter what its beginning is like? If only we could see with our hearts rather than our minds. Just imagine how that would impact the world around us. It would be absolutely phenomenal!

Alaska Jones is a wickedly talented and brilliantly incredible author who can wreck my heart any time she feels the need. I am open to her exceptional heart and way of thinking, and I can’t wait to see what creates next. I am ready for her next masterpiece no matter what it is. Hit me with your best shot!

The story grabs you right from the beginning. It wasn't as dark as I thought it would be which is good. I really liked the characters. I liked that Jenna didn't roll over. She kept thinking of ways to escape. She did "fall" pretty fast but she still was not a pushover. Cage was very intimidating but he had a soft spot too. I love an Alpha male with a big heart. They both tried to fight their feelings but Jenna was not going to let him go that easily. I enjoyed the writing style of the author. There is action and excitement throughout the book. The banter between the two was fun. The other characters were interesting. Lincoln was fun to read about and I am looking forward to Alabama's story.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and am glad that I saw the post about reading the first four chapters on Wattpad. Cage and Jenna's story was engaging from beginning to end. I loved seeing the different dimensions of the two main characters and how they fought against falling in love because of the crazy circumstances that brought them together. The couple complimented each other and I hope to see books about a few of the other characters like Lincoln, Gia and Charlie with an appearance by Cage and Jenna. I received an ARC from the author for an honest review. Happy Reading!

I received an ARC for this book in exchange for an honest review.

So then. I read the first pages on Wattpad (I think that's what it's called) and was so excited to read romance book first time in a very long time! A little over three years ago when I was on mother's leave, I only read romance books and usually cried my eyes out, lol.

This book was about Jenna, the ex-girlfriend of Anthony Hunt who stole from the mob and Cage, the hitman sent by the mob to kill Anthony Hunt. Cage saves Jenna one night and after that locks her in his apartment. Their life together isn't actually all roses and joy but they still develop something between them, yet Cage still keeps her locked in his bedroom and tries to find Anthony.

I liked and didn't like Jenna. I liked the fact that she was trying to get out of there and fought back. But then again I was a bit irritated that she tried it once and then it was all fine and she didn't want to leave Cage. There were a few moments were I was like "C'MOON WOMAN! You've been there days and yet you stopped fighting and all is good? He did threaten to kill you, you know?". Though she is a very strong woman, not any whiny little helpless girl.
Cage is *sigh*... I loved him okay? There's not much to say, okay. He was just, ahh, give him to me now please!

The plot was predictable, if you've read a lot of romance books, you'll know what I mean. But the sex scenes though! It wasn't all awkward and that. It is very well written and damn it was getting hot in here! (This has totally nothing to do with this but I was just wondering while reading. It's usually always mentioned in sex scenes that "he's very huge dick" or some other way. There isn't any books talking about small dicks, is there? This is stupid, I know. I was just wondering..)

Okay, back to the subject. Though the plot was predictable, I think it is still well written book. Special points for the sex scenes! I truly enjoyed reading them. Even though it took me very long time to read this (I have very little time to read nowadays) I really enjoyed it. There wasn't any thoughts of putting it down to DNF shelf. But the thing that kind of left me hanging and thinking was that Cage never actually told about his past to Jenna. You would think that's something you'd share with the person you love. She knows he has bad dreams and all but still he hasn't told anything.

I definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes alpha protector romances but if graphic sex is something you don't like reading, then you shouldn't pick this one.
All in all, I give this book a total 3.5 stars!

LA, CA. Jenna (narrator) started to remember a whole lot about why she had gone to the Club Velvet.
Anthony “Tony” Hunt (ex-BF) was supposed to have been there.
Come to find out he might be in Italy or Colombia.
Dwight had opened a new bank account in Lebanon.
Contents $16 million.
Jenny was being held captive under the watchful eye of Cage (hitman, retired military, Iraq).
Where does this thriller go from here?

Warning: This book contains extremely graphic adult content, violence, or expletive language &/or uncensored sexually explicit material which is only suitable for mature readers. It may be offensive to some readers.

I did not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing this book. While I receive free books from publishers & authors, I am under no obligation to write a positive review, only an honest one. All thoughts & opinions are entirely my own.

A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very well written thriller book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great thriller movie, or better yet a mini TV series. To be continued. It was just OK for me so I will rate it at 4/5 stars.

The author gifted me with a copy of her book and here I am. ^_^ <3
"Caged" is the debut book of author Alaska Jones, which is an alpha protector romance as the subtitle describes. It also falls in the new adult and suspense genre, but we will talk about that later.

This review is also featured on my reviews blog

Jenna wakes up in a bed she doesn't recognize and realize that she is in the house of a stranger. She remembers that a few days before she was attacked and almost raped by a group of guys who wanted to get at her ex boyfriend. Somebody saved her but is holding her captive in that house, and that person is Cage, a guy with a dark past that is set on killing Jenna's ex as well.

Jenna, the main female character of this book, is one feisty woman. She is a free spirit and does what she wants, reason why Cage is irked when she wakes up after the thugs have beaten her up. I am not sure up to this day, if I liked her or not. She does have quite a personality, she wasn't one of those mindless heroines who try to hurt themselves to save the man they love, but she wasn't "defined" as a character either. It's like she's in the middle: at times I said 'wow, at least she's a girl who doesn't let he boss her' but at other times I felt that she was too yielding at Cage's controlling demands, and this made me like her less. To this day, I have yet to find a female character who doesn't let her partner oblige her to every of his desires and doesn't ignore what she indeed wants. I've felt the same way about Cage. I didn't hate either of them, didn't find them annoying either, it's just... in Cage's case, I found him too controlling. OK, he saved Jenna and took her into his apartment to protect her and don't let the bad guys do her harm, but when things got more friendly between them and sex happened, he was too imposing on her and she seemed unsure about it. I was frowning because in some moments it felt as if their connection wasn't authentic, was too rushed. Still, their love story took off late in the book and we didn't read them gush and be cheesy over each other too much; that is something I am VERY thankful for.

On the story subject, I am a sucker for stories like this. I like romantic suspense and the couple fighting to be together or to be free from somebody who is threatening their happiness and freedom, and here the plot was handled well with no loose ends, but... I don't know, somehow this lacked the adrenaline rush. This is why it is indeed a romantic suspense book, but it's more a book about two people with effed up lives who meet by chance and fall in love, and there is nothing bad about this. Like I said, the book ends with no cliffhanger and loose ends, although we may have to wait for the sequel (that will feature another couple) to see how Jenna and Cage are doing and if they could arrive safely where they were headed.

“I think there are only two things that matter. He killed for me before he even knew me. He risked his life so he could save mine. Maybe, it’s enough to trust him. Maybe, it’s enough not to.”

Jenna wakes up, with minor injuries, to find herself in a strange bed, in a strange room, and a strange naked man in the connecting bathroom. She remembers being attacked outside the club where she works and that someone came to her rescue. She doesn’t realise that she’s been asleep for two days. It turns out that the huge, taciturn, if somewhat handsome, guy is targeting her unfaithful boyfriend. Even though he saved her, and is insisting that he’s keeping her in the apartment for her own safety, she still attempts to escape. Annoyingly, she finds her captor very attractive and can’t stop fantasising about him. His seeming care of her makes her question whether she can trust him or not.

“For the first time in years, I was reminded of what it felt like to take care of someone, to touch another human being without meaning to harm them, to feel the need to protect them.”

Cage doesn’t like it when his plans go awry. He always works alone and this is his last job before he retires and disappears to warmer climes. Plagued by nightmares from his military years, he finds himself increasingly distracted in his waking hours by the beautiful captive in his bedroom. He finds her smart, sassy, and very tempting. Even though he believes that it would be dangerous for her to stay with him, he can’t help envisioning a future together.

The more time they spend together, they start to see beneath the surface, and some very real feelings start to develop. There are many players in the game and it’s hard to know who to trust, and it will take some clever manoeuvring to ensure that they come out of it all, alive and free.

I’ll be honest and say that, to begin with, I found the first twenty percent a bit slow going, until Jenna and Cage finally have their first moment of real connection. Following that, things got moving and I really enjoyed the plot and the interaction between the main characters, as well as with some secondary characters. Some of the scenes made me laugh out loud, and some of them squeezed my heart. I would have loved to have had more background on Cage and the reasons behind his nightmares. For all their closeness, he and Jenna never engage in a conversation about his experiences in the military. However, I loved how being with Jenna gave him peace, and that Cage made her feel safe.

Overall, a great read and a decent debut.

Caged is written in first person present tense. I had trouble getting into the book because of that, so I decided it might be better to listen to it on my Kindle as text to speech. This helped, because it seemed more as though a friend were telling her story.

The plot was predictable, but that can be okay in a romance novel if the characterization and the dialogue are well done. But through the first half of the book I half hoped he’d just shoot the heroine and put us both out of our misery. She was a brat who couldn’t seem to grasp she was in danger. Most people wouldn’t try to irritate an assassin, but she does as a matter of routine. I was very tempted to stop reading.

Cage was a stock troubled alpha male character. I liked him, but I like that kind of hero. Since we were in his mind, we knew from the start he wasn’t the bad guy the heroine should have assumed him to be. The story might have been more interesting if we hadn’t known that from the outset. It suffered from a lack of tension.

I also struggled with the condensed timeline of the story. Antagonists to lovers is a great romance meme, but it takes time for that to happen with any credibility. In Caged, it happens in one week. Perhaps if they had known each other previously, but they were complete strangers. The actions of the heroine were confusing perhaps because she seemed to be a mishmash of character types. When the story finally got a little action going, reading went a little smoother. The character of the heroine also transformed, making her more likable. So the book finished in the positive.

I received a free copy of Caged and chose to read and write an honest review of it.

Ok story

This is a well written story with likeable characters. The problem is nothing happens, even when something happens its boring. It gets 3 stars because its so grounded and not crazy over the top, the insta-love isn't totally unrealistic considering her options. Its a slow read, not that alpha but if hitman with a heart of gold is your thing then you'll love it.

I received this book as a ARC after stumbling across the Author in a reading group. I wasn't sure what to expect as I sometimes find freebies to be more miss that hit. I get really annoyed when you have have half a story you need to then buy copies of part 2,3,4 etc. I don't mind paying for books but I want to buy 1 book and get all my reading on at once.
I was more than pleasantly surprised with this book it was well edited and unusual for me I didn't spot any grammatical errors/spelling problems which earns it extra points for me.
I really enjoyed the story it came with a warning but I have to say I did find the sex/language/violence tamer than I expected (I've read worse) not that I'm complaining it doesn't need to be gratuitous for the story to be enjoyable.
The characters were both likeable I like a heroine with spunk and sass and an alpha with a soft spot.
I would like to have known more about the characters back stories we didn't really get much of their histories really like how she ended up with the loser and her family or much about what happened to our hero in Iraq I feel like our characters could have had a chapter explaining their stories to each other so we could see why they were like they were. Also the insta love was a bit too insta for my liking but I did really enjoy the story I would certainly read other books by this author.

When I read the synopsis I was like...I have to read this! I love dangerous alpha males and I was hooked there and then.

I enjoyed this book and I was captured right from the start.

I loved Cage and Jenna and I thoroughly enjoyed there story.

However skeptic that I am the whole falling in love in a few days after being kidnapped...that was a bit hard to believe, but who am I to judge cause obviously it worked for these two.

I would have liked to know a bit more about Cage's dreams and maybe Jenna could have been a tad bit more frightened in the beginning, but all in all this was a great read.

Thank you to the author who provided me with a copy. I think she did a good job writing this story and I think fellow readers and fans of books with a tad darkness, suspense and romance will feel the same.

**I received an ARC of this book from the author. Thank you!**

I gave this book 4 out of 5 stars. I really enjoyed the story. Even though there were parts within the story that were predictable I still wanted to read more and to know what was going to happen. If there is a sequel I would definitely read it and more from the author.

I enjoyed this book. I liked the sassy, can't seem to stop saying everything in her head, heroine and I really liked Cage! It was def insta-love but it felt like the timeline was much longer while reading it. I enjoyed the dialogue between the two. I was sometimes confused between the names of the secondary characters- Doug, Dwight, etc and the covert plot got confusing at times but overall I really liked how the story pulled together with Cage's final set up. I want to know a bit more about Charlie and Lincoln and Gia and Mike. This was my first book by this author and I hope we'll see more of these characters in future books.

This was a great story that hooks the reader from the first page. You get action, mystery along with a wonderful plot that keeps you hanging on as the author twists and turns her way into your heart. You get unique characters that steal your breath away with their baiting. They blend very well together making them a delightful couple that is headstrong. Jenna is a hot tempter sassy red head that has not problem standing up for herself. Cage is all male with a body of a god, tattoos you just want to run your hands over, he is so easy to fall for with his alpha way.

A fast paced contemporary romantic thriller to enjoy in the evening with a roaring fire and cookie cream ice cream. Enjoyed it!

Liked the chemistry between Cage and Jenna. Love to know more about Cage's past. The story was well balanced and had a good flow. Liked the HEA ending! Definitely a good read!

I received an ARC of this book for an honest review.
I loooove my alpha males and will devour their books faster then a morsel of chocolate! The only reason why I did not give this a 5 star rating was because there wasn't "enough" alpha ness to the book. Maybe if cage would of shown a little bit more of why he loved the heroine, it would of been a solid read for me. Other then that, it was great! I won't spoil anything for you but I do highly recommend you read this.

*I voluntarily read a Review Copy of this book. All opinion stated are solely my own and no one else's*

3.5 stars

The beginning was exciting and draws you in quickly. I enjoyed the characters bantering: alpha male v feisty determined woman - whose going to get the upper hand? Jenna was nothing but determined to escape but Cage has more eyes/ears than she gives him credit for. At times, the story became dry and slow paced but it did pick up.
