Scooby-Doo and the gang attend a checkers competition where a checkers champion will be playing a virtual player. The Virtual Player comes to life then steals the competitions trophy and the gang is on the case.
This is the first book in this series that my 4 year old and I read. It was short enough to read in one sitting. She enjoyed it although some of it was over her head. It's just like an episode of the show.
