This book is great for those learning about animals and how they are cared for. The book talks about different types of animals and how their parents care for them. The animals discussed range from birds to to elephants to monkeys.

Lesson- this is a great book to discuss animal families and how the babies are taken care of by the parents. You can talk about how the parents protect their babies and will do anything to protect them.

What can be cuter than reading about baby animals? Kinda bounces around the world but very interesting in covering all the different ways that the animal kingdom raises and cares for it's young.

This is a great informational book! It covers animals from all over the world and shows a parents love throughout the animal kingdom. It also included great pictures in which the reader is able to learn a lot! This would be a great for younger students as a fun read aloud or on their own to see the picture. I would use this book to compare and contrast the ways animals act from different regions of the world and to learn more about animals in general.

Excellent. I read this to my 7 year old nephew. We both enjoyed it.
It's easy enough for him to read and understand by himself.

The pictures are awesome, and we both learned interesting details.. like the killdeers distraction display, etc.
