Here's a wonderfully eclectic anthology of what speculative writers from around the world have to offer. In a wide range of styles, themes, and voices, the book takes us from rural Italy to far-flung planets, from Wall Street to imagined worlds, from magic to terror to technology.

Standouts include the wistful tale of seclusion and nature's power "No one is so fierce" by James Van Pelt, the deliciously tongue-in-cheek Buffy variation "Booting bottom" by T.D. Edge, Samantha Murray's unique and insomnia-inducing take on post-apocalyptic Earth or pandemia "Wings that make no sound", and the steampunk classical adventure romp by David Versace, "Mnemo's memory".

The ebook is free and downloadable already; a hardcopy edition will be available at cost from Amazon by the end of January.

A good collection, with some real standouts like David Versace's Antarctic Steampunk Mnemo's Memory, and the creepy/breathless The Pale Witches of Autumn by Nicola Lombardi.
