Wonderful story, I had a hard time setting the book down! I loved the paranormal parts of the book, I can't wait to learn more about Augie. Her characters were fantastic, and the way Rhonda described every detail, I could almost smell the fried chicken! I'm very excited to read the next book in the series!

Really enjoyed this book

This book was really hard for me to put down. I loved the characters in the book including the names of the animals. The author kept bringing us back to each character so they were always easy to remember. The main character Ruby had a great relationship with her brother Jake. When he came along the book became even more interesting. This book had romance and suspense and I loved the way it ended. However, it's one of those stories that you wish would never end. Can't wait for the next book from this author.

So much to enjoy in this book. It starts a little slow, but it's sweet and builds nicely. I adored the relationship between Ruby and Billy, and that the fact he's younger than she is isn't made out to be a big deal. I also enjoyed the paranormal aspects (wasn't expecting that but was pleasantly surprised). And the mystery drove me crazy (in a good way), thinking first one person was the villain, then another. The denouement was completely unexpected, and I have to say my reaction would have been the same as Ruby's, which made it all the more believable. All in all an enjoyable read!

I was given a copy by the author in exchange for an honest review.

This story has it all, suspense, love, lies and then you have the reconnecting of two people that brings you so much happiness. I loved the whole intrigue that was going on, I just couldn't read it fast enough. I just had to know what was going to happen and who was lying and why. I definitely will be looking for more of this author's work.

I read Return to Ruby’s Ranch in just a few days, and LOVED the book! The characters were real, tangible and easy to relate with. Ruby and Billy’s relationship would lead any reader back to their first love, full of innocents, excitement and sadness. The plot unfolded into suspenseful mystery that left you questioning. When I neared the ending chapters, I couldn’t wait to see how it would end. Which was definitely unexpected, but I won't spoil it for you here.

Exceptional

This was my first time reading this author. What a wonderful find! Return to Ruby's Ranch was amazing. Secrets have a way of coming back to bite you, especially family secrets. Filled with mystery and suspense but also a beautiful love story between Ruby and Billy.

,Just so you know..I loved it. Romance, but no sex, ahhh a nice change (rather use my imagination instead of a detailed accounting) coupled with an engaging unanswered question! Lots of vivid characters interact in a most intriguing plot. A bit of paranormal added to the mix, The end? Who would have guessed!?! Cannot wait to read the next book

Return to Ruby’s Ranch

I enjoyed this mystery love story. Jake had a crush on Ruby as a child and he made it known how he felt about adult Ruby when she returned to the ranch after her grandmother’s death. Secrets begin to unfold about the disappearance of Ruby’s mother. I couldn’t put the book down it was so good.

An Awful Tragedy

A shooting, reminiscent of a tragic shooting ears before. Read this first book in the series and learn how this tragedy affected the lives of two families. One man was confined in an asylum because his wife was the victim. The man remained in the asylum for many years--until a similar murder was committed. The man's children had to live without either parent, initially staying with their grandmother who also abandoned them. after another murder was committed--a neighbor in the same neighborhood.

Read this book to learn some details of this book.

Couldn't Put This Book Down

I started to read this and I put it down. Then I would find myself reading it again. I repeatedly process until I quit doing other stuff and just finished the book. It is well written and the characters have such depth to them. As you read this book, you feel what they are feeling. Great author and story!

This book really surprised me a great deal. When I thought the book was going to go in one direction, it did a 90 degree turn and really amazed me.

I've never come across this author before, but now have read three of her books. "The Health Nut Cafe" is even more amazing and really, really worth the time to read it.

I really enjoyed not being able to work out what the hell was going to happen so early on it the book, which has not happened to me for so many years!

Ruby's Search for the Truth

Ruby was God to be back on Ruby's Ranch even though her grandmother had passed. Maybe now she could find some answers to the many questions she had about her family.

Looking forward to the next book in this series. I really enjoy a story that makes you want to be there getting to know the characters & this one definitely does that. I would love to find out more about Augie. I do not want to give anything away so I will just say that the ending came as a surprise which was nice since I often guess what is going to happen in a book long before I get there. As I said before I am really looking forward to visiting everyone at Ruby's Ranch again.

Oh, my goodness. How can I possibly write a review of this novel without spoilers? It's impossible. So I will be very general.

I had a few quibbles, but the overall impact made me give it 5 stars. The author did a superb job of drawing all the story threads together and answering the many questions. Not only plot questions, but character motivation questions as well. The protagonist, Ruby, asked the same questions I would have. The ending is superb, with many surprises and twists I didn't see coming. Overall, I enjoyed this novel a lot and will think of it fondly.
