Smuttily Ever After is an anthology with great cause and written by bloggers. It contains seven short smut stories and it's great spend penny, where you get something and support dog's service.

"Put me on speakerphone... you're going to need both hands for this."
Falling Into You, Mila Grayson

Each is different, so everyone can find something for yourself. But let's be honest, they are not ideal, they are not written by the experienced pens, but it makes it all the more remarkable. And who doesn't like quick smut sometimes?

Besides, it has among all of them an amazing pearl. Wildest Dreams. It's a hot ménage story with BDSM and bondage elements. Written with taste and surprising idea. Definitely the story you want to read.

"Your safe word, pet."
"Mermaid, Master Nick."

Wildest Dreams, Kay Su

I also read the Unexpected about a single mother. It has some hot scenes! Or surprising Rolling on a River for hockey fans. You see, everyone will find something for yourself. I sure I will return to it to read also another stories.

If you fancy some great smut, support Paws With A Cause and have fun!

I've sat in front of my keyboard for the longest period of time in my writing career, trying to think of the first line of this post. Writer's block never happens to me. It's weird.

When I write a book, first lines are crucial. They always jump out at me almost immediately and virtually write themselves. It's the first thing the reader will see before they invest in the story. It needs to evoke an immediate response and capture the reader's attention--throw them off guard or create a question that they NEED an answer to.

Admittedly, I don't usually write book reviews. I'm pretty honest in my opinions (ask three of them I beta read for), and as an author I just don't engage in anything that might bring me a bad dose of karma. I sometimes read reviews (because I have pretty thick skin and some critical reviews contain information that helps me get better), but I don't engage or comment on retail platforms. Once the work is out there, it's out there and open to criticism. I get to work on the next project.

This, however, is a special circumstance. I don't know if I can explain anywhere near as eloquently as Helena did in her foreword with regards to how much book bloggers mean to the indie author community, especially in the romance/erotica genres. She killed it and I agree with every word she wrote.

I've still yet to think up a first line that does this review justice, or can adequately set the tone for expressing my thanks to these book bloggers who have now added the title of "author" to their book world resumes. I probably never will think of a line that I deem worthy, and I'm strangely okay with that. Book bloggers are everything, and they've given me a precious gift that I cherish very much. The gift of my dream job. You probably think it's being an author. It's not. It's being a stay-at-home dad. Job numero uno, and my favorite thing in the world. The author gig is the icing on the cake. Yes, I am eternally grateful for book bloggers, and the ones who penned these stories are very special to me.

So, I'm writing a book review. Here goes nothing:

Nope, not done gushing yet. You have to put up with more. Let me tell you more about why they are so special.

This may be lengthy, so buckle your seat belt. While my writing style is minimalist in my books, my words here will be anything but that when heaping praise on the people who are instrumental to my success. They're close personal friends and colleagues.

Book bloggers are the backbone of the indie writing world. I don't say that as a cliche to mean they are pretty important, or nice, or semi-helpful. I mean they ARE the spinal cord of the romance/erotica world. Many publishers and authors have tried to analyze this phenomena, myself included. I'm a numbers geek at heart. But you can't quantify the intangibles. They are like Derek Jeter in the World Series. They LOVE to read. They LOVE to share and discuss their favorite books. They LOVE their authors, and do whatever they can to support them and help them find success. They LOVE angst and feels and humor and happily ever afters and ugly cries (well, some of them, lol). They LOVE cliffhangers too! They'll message you and let you know just how much they LOVE them! Trust me, I know. The messages usually come at three in the morning with a healthy side of profanity.

They argue over book boyfriends and who read who first. They live and breathe the worlds we create. The promotional power behind book bloggers can't be manipulated or altered to provide an advantage. It can't be streamlined or figured out with an algorithm. You can't calculate a return on investment or represent it with an equation or formula. Their value is a force to be reckoned with because it is real and organic. It's why so many authors and publishers fail at harnessing the influence book bloggers hold over public opinion. They look at the number of likes or followers or website traffic or Alexa ranking or engagement rate or reach, then form a strategy and try to figure out how to forecast and monetize something that can't be exploited in that manner, because it's manifested out of love and passion, not dollars and cents or ones and zeroes.

And now that I've bloviated for far too long, let's get down to business. I have a reputation to uphold over here at the Sultan of Smut Book Blog. I realize it's my first review and I need to earn your trust so that you'll listen to my recommendations. Here is my take on this anthology:

SMUTTILY EVER AFTER

SEVEN BOOK BLOGGERS, SEVEN STORIES

RELEASE DATE: November 29, 2016

RETAIL SITES: Amazon and eligible for Kindle Unlimited

SLOANE'S SMUTTY ASS RATING: FIVE STARS!

Let's dive in individually. The shit's about to get real, so hold on to your nips:

CALCULATED BY MONIQUE PEARSON

I loved the shit out of this story! Why, you ask? Why don't you just wait and let me fecking tell you, okay?

I related to this story. Not the romance in it, of course, (i never hooked up with anyone in the corporate world because, hello, married!) but the background or sub plot. I came to the book world from a corporate setting. I worked for a multi-billion dollar corporation, and was responsible for a good half a billion dollars or more every year (scary AF, right? LOL). I was in meetings with the CFO and saw him daily. I wore nice clothes. I used buzz words. The whole nine yards.

I have a lot of experience in this environment and I thought Monique nailed it, and I'm highly critical of details. Strong heroines are kinda my jam, and I'd expected this to be another billionaire trope with a rich guy and a virgin girl and he sweeps her away, blah blah. There's nothing wrong with that trope, it's a good one. People like it. But it can get boring in a hurry if you don't make it your own. I like risk takers. Monique Pearson is a risk taker.

She also knows her shit. If I were a betting man I'd bet she works in a business setting like this. Otherwise, she did a shit ton of research. I get easily bogged down in details when I read. I don't read a lot of sports roms (primarily baseball and football) because of it. If the details are wrong, I can't move past it. It can have a kick ass romance, but if the author says "hit a touchdown" I'll lose my shit. If the author markets it as a baseball romance, and there's one baseball sentence in the whole book that basically says, "He's a baseball player," and that's it, I'll lose my shit. Same with business speak. Monique went into accounting in the narrative and I started to get a little anxiety going on. I was a tax accountant and senior analyst for ten years.

And guess what? She nailed it. The details were on point. Whew!

It was also a very interesting arrangement of the characters and roles.

Instead of the usual formula for the couple (male alpha business tycoon, ordinary-looking, virgin heroine) we get Nora. I liked Nora a lot. *waggles eyebrows* She's the workaholic type, has something to prove, rolls up her sleeves. She's a workhorse, and she's impressive. She's a cynic, but it doesn't crush her resolve. She exuded powerful feminism, but did it with actions instead of words, which was a pleasant surprise. That whole showing vs telling concept that many debut authors haven't yet grasped. She knows men dominate the corporate world and women aren't treated equally. (totally true) But she's all out of fucks to give, and works her ass off, and pretty much takes her position at the company. She didn't sit around and lament how she was passed up because of her gender, she paved the way and set an example. In the process, it made her guarded. That felt very natural to me and I fell in love with her character. Nora struts in armed with grit and evidence that backs up why she deserves to be the boss. There's something very sexy about a woman in her mid-thirties who has fought that fight and came out the victor, and gets to boss the mens around. Meow!

Her PA Rosey was an added bonus. I love a good side character and Rosey delivered. Quirky, pregnant, organized in her own way. Her character was portrayed brilliantly.

Then came the big surprise. Rosey's replacement while on maternity leave. An alpha who teeters just on the hot side of the stalker/alpha diagonal, which is the bulls-eye. Beautiful set up for tension and conflict. I won't give any more away, but well done.

This was a smokin' hot read with a solid plot that flipped every usual gender role on its stomach, pulled its hair, and drove it home. I loved it hardcore!

ROLLING ON A RIVER BY R.S. OWL

You might scream nepotism or some shit here, but you can just gtfo with that nonsense. (be humble, sloane. we've been over this.) Yeah, my PA wrote this story. She's been a blogger/fan/friend for a long time. Yeah, I had the pleasure of beta reading it. No, I'm not partial. This story was just flat out fecking Fun with a capital F.

Channeling my inner owl, it was the shiznitterific fiznucking bizomb! (i probably totally ruined that, but i gave it my all)

Had I ever read about roller hockey? No. I kinda want to go watch now though. Especially if it's all about some girl on girl flirting in tight shorts and shizz. Don't shatter my reality if this isn't actually the case. Just let me have it, okay? *stares*

This story was hot. I loved the setting and scenes, the hockey action. Yeah, I know I'm a dude, so it's only natural that I appreciate a well-written sports scene. It's hard to do, and personally, I think it should be a requirement in sports romances. Anddd I'm off in left field again. Gotta rein it in.

This one is the sports romcom of the group, and it was done very well with a unique setting, and steamy romance. The comedy fit the story well, and the characters came to life and popped off the page. I wanted to hang out with them and know them better.

Solid story with great writing. Yes, I sniffed out the ending, but only because I know Mrs Owl very well. It was cute and fun. A story that leaves you smiling throughout. My favorite thing was probably the dialogue. Very witty banter. Go read it!

LOVE AND WAR BY BEAUTE DE LIVRES

I think of all the stories in the group, I mean, I'm not playing favorites or anything, but this one just really jumped out and grabbed me. The writing was absolutely brilliant. I love a good twist, and it's hard as all hell to pull off in a novel, let alone a short novella or short story.

The writing was gorgeous. If I'd picked this up on a shelf somewhere I'd have thought the author was a seasoned veteran who'd been honing her craft for years. I'm not sure how to really describe this one because it was the kind of story that doesn't really fit a particular genre. Maybe contemporary rom. That's not a bad thing either. Many times it means the author had a story in their head and just wrote the shit. They stayed true to it. It wasn't written for a genre, or for sales, or for a specific demographic. It was written because the characters had something to say, and wouldn't shut up until their story was scribbled on the figurative paper.

It was fantastic. A married couple with troubled pasts, trying to rekindle their flame after years of monotony. Such a relatable concept to so many. It happens to the strongest relationships. People change, they veer in different directions, want different things, or they're just so damned tired from work or from kids or from life, that they just zone out when they get home. People drift sometimes, and it's a beautiful thing when they're able to right the ship.

This story took me on a journey through that in an unconventional manner, with fantastic writing and an interesting premise. I loved everything about it. Sharp light and dark contrasts. Very erotic.
Yes, I beta read this one too. I'm telling you though, this story is amazing. Go read it and then tell me I'm wrong. I dare you.

FALLING INTO YOU BY MILA GRAYSON

I beta read this story as well. Just trying to give full disclosure. Mila nailed this. It was also a romcom, but very sweet and sincere, cute and funny. I loved it, and it had me hooked from page one. I've read similar plots and storylines before, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It wasn't here. There's a reason that these tropes work, and it's because people love them. If you can put your own unique spin on a classic, it's a recipe for success. Mila did just that.

Two people, chance encounter. Flustered in the moment. Don't exchange contact info. Think they've lost out on what could have been "the one".

I loved how this incorporated the Craigslist missed connection thingie. I thought it was a cute, modern spin. This is the story with the hero you swoon over, in the sweet way. He's attentive, kind, loves his friends, successful, and has that possessive alpha in the bedroom trait wired up in his genetic code.

The distance between them brings them even closer. It builds the tension. I love when two characters just know it's right, and they're also aware that everyone is going to think they're insane. But they don't give AF, because lurvvvv. They trust one another, and it's enough for them. As long as they have them, they know they'll be fine. Yep, this one has that.

Is it instalove? Yes, of course. It's almost impossible to write a romance novella without instaloving it up. More importantly, is the insta done well in a believable manner? Yep. Damn sho is. This is the one you get if you like safe with all the feels and swoons and some good chuckles. It's a story that when you finish you just sit there and smile. Does anyone else do that? If not, just kidding. (I totally grinned after I finished it)

Read it! I command this of you!

UNEXPECTED BY SOPHIA MARIE

This little gem took me by surprise. I'm a sucker for single parent stories. Being a parent is my number one job, and I take it super serious. The struggles with putting your kid(s) first and foremost in the world is real and very very relatable.

At first I thought, man, this is getting pretty heavy for a book this length. But it really worked well. I didn't feel cheated like I feared I might when too much angst is crammed in, or the back stories for the characters are just over-the-top brutal. Could there have been better payoffs on some of the super emotional plot points? Yeah, maybe. Idk. I'd have to sit down with my editor hat on and read it a few more times. Did Sophia still capitalize on them and sock me in the feels? Yes.

Emotional reads, while amazing, are incredibly difficult to write well. The only explanation I can come up with that fits, is that Sophia is a natural. If she keeps writing these and working at it, she will be bamf, and you will bow at her feet and beg her for more words.

I mean, you take two people with tragic pasts, left to fend for themselves with the kiddos--those are sturdy, high walls to break down. When they are attracted to each other and give in to their desires, that's the money load, and Sophia made it rain hunnids. Great characters, great plot, dad crushing on Asher a little. I love stories with amazing dads in them. Go read it!

WILDEST DREAMS BY KAY SU

I was really looking forward to reading this story. I've known Kay Su since way back when I first started releasing books in these genres, and I got pretty involved with Goodreads and met a ton of cool book world peeps in the SHH group. Bottom line, I've known her long enough to know that whatever was in her head, I wanted to fucking read it, LOL.

Now Kay Su, my ninja assassin super stalker friend from afar... I did have one beef with your story. I was expecting some killing or torture. (inside jokes, just deal, okay?) But no, seriously, this book was just--her. It was her voice. Many authors spend years trying to find their voice. This was Kay Su, from page one. I could've had someone hand it to me and say, "Hey, Kay wrote a book with six other bloggers, this is one of the stories, who do you think wrote it?" One paragraph in, I'd have known. That's rare, you guys. Few people write with a voice that recognizable. Stephen King and Hugh Howey come to mind.

This story was just, it was really really good. Unique, fresh, intriguing--it was BDSM, which I expected. I don't read a lot of BDSM, so I can't critique on the authenticity of those elements. I've never lived that lifestyle nor studied or researched much on it. It had dom/sub desires, and I thought the menage aspect made it that much more enticing and interesting. The characters were fleshed out.

Just give this one a go. I promise you'll love it.

LOVE FOR US BY SOPHIA STERLING

I floved this story. Very unique spin with original characters.

Okay, here's what I loved most--okay, wait, question... I seem to like asking rhetorical questions in my reviews, *shrug*. Everyone loves a cynic, am I right? I just adore characters that have been treated like shit, screwed over, basically caught all the bad luck the world has to throw at them. Well, I love those characters when they're finally able to overcome.

This one had some BDSM too, I think. I don't know the definitions that well, but it had dom/sub lingo, so I'm just throwing it out there and hoping it's correct. But anyway, the heroine is a sub by nature, hidden under her layers. But, she's been fucked over so many times in life, she takes charge. Even as far as to act as a femdom in her spare time. She's smart, but guys only stare at her tits and ass. They value her for her body. So she uses her body to get things. Because, fuck it. Why not if it works? She has the "Screw the world. It's not going to change. Bad luck always comes my way. I'm going to use what I have to my advantage." mentality. That can be related to. It's a very common occurrence in the world. Some people just get the shitty end of the stick.

I loved the walls she'd put up, but deep down inside she really wanted someone to take control, sweep her off her feet. She wanted to kiss the prince and live the fairy tale. She'd just been jaded by years of meeting the wrong guys, bad timing, etc. That's a complex character and it's hard to pull off in a work this short, and no doubt by a debut author. Sophia nailed it though.

Go read it! You'll love it!

So, what to take from all of this? Well, I don't know if it was helpful or not, but I have loved every second of this experience. Words can't express how amazing these bloggers are and what they do every day. I was blown away by these stories and the fact they came from first-time authors. If I'm being completely honest, I expected the usual that comes with many debuts: recycled cookie cutter plots, grammar errors, content and style issues, continuity, showing vs telling, tense problems, POV issues. Those are usual mistakes that a rookie author makes and doesn't know any better unless they have an MFA or lived in the trenches and worked their asses off to learn.

I have to believe that these authors took this very seriously, and worked extremely hard to perfect their manuscripts. I'm sure it was an incredible experience, but I also know that they are probably still sweating bullets, and biting their nails when they have no reason to do such a thing. Hold your heads up proud, ladies. Seriously, stand there and bask in the praise you've received or are going to receive from everyone. Because these stories were unique, powerful, and the exact type of books that you hype and scream about to everyone else. I am so damn proud of you. Not only are you raising money for a good cause, you set out to achieve something. You achieved it and more. These are stories (i'm shaking my kindle in the air right now for emphasis, but you can't see it. it's happening though.) to brag about. It's an accomplishment to cherish.

Not only are you friends and colleagues in the indie community, now you belong to the author circle as well, and I'll be damned if I'm not giddy and honored as all hell to stand next to you.

Welcome to the club!

I will be reviewing Wildest Dreams by Kay Su!!

I really liked this story, it was about a woman's fantasy to have a threesome with two hot dom's and to have the night of her dreams!
The writing was great and even though it's was short it left me wanting to read more about the characters stories!

When smut happens, it's always a happily ever after. Yes!

I would like to start off by saying, you guys rock! I am so glad that you all decided to get together and write this anthology, not only because it's for a great cause, but because you are all fantastic authors! It's hard to believe that you aren't already published!

There's such a range in this collection too. There is definitely something for everyone in here. Whether you like something a little dark that keeps you guessing, or something more on the sweeter side, a sports romance, or a perfect stranger, you will find what you are looking for in this anthology.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading these shorts, and I can't wait for everyone else to read them too. I hope to see you all writing more in the future!

I enjoyed each of the stories in this boxed set, which for me rarely ever happens. All of the stories were very good and very different...and I loved that. Before reading these stories, I had no idea who any of these bloggers were...but I do now and I am a fan. I did this review in order as I read them...great stories...hopefully you will enjoy them as much as I did.

Calculated by Monique Pearson, The Messy Mind of Monique Pearson

Wow, wow....these two were so damn hot....delicious. Nora is a CEO that is all business trying to earn respect as a woman in a man's world. Her assistant, Rosey, is going on maternity leave and was in charge of finding her own replacement, which she does. Sonny is the assistant and the chemistry between and Nora is crazy suffocating. They give in and wow, wow, wow.....hot, hot, hot. He confesses that he wanted to work there for her....he just wants her. And then a damn cliffhanger...so now i have to start stalking....er following Monique Pearson to see when their book comes out *sigh*.

Rolling On A River by R.S. Owl, The Saucy Owl

This was fun story for me....I mean who doesn't want to see some women kicking ass in roller hockey against men...I do, I do. Love me some girl power. Frankie is a tough, naughty handful and she ends up playing against Taylor, who happens to own the rink. After every game he goes into his "office", so when she follows him, she finds him looking all yummy and heading into the shower. These 2 were delicious, love the back and forth between, which made for explosive chemistry. There was also an epilogue of a year later......so these two were super hot and very sweet. Great combination....probably going to have to stalk...er follow her too.

Love And War by Marley Valentine, Beaute De Livres

I absolutely freaking loved these 2. They had the intense soul shattering love that is normally very hard to portray, let alone feel in a book, let alone a shorter novella. But I felt every bit of it. When the book story first started, I thought "oh, I love these 2...especially Cage" *wink, wink*. About a couple of chapters in I thought WTH....surely I wasn't wrong about these 2. Thankfully I wasn't. This story had me entranced and I could not put it down....even if I wanted to and the story was going to upset me....still wouldn't have put it down. Absolutely. Loved. These. Two. The story turns out much differently than you think it would originally and I loved that. And yes, I have already started stalking...er following this blogger/author. How in the hell could I not with a story like that...maybe one of my favorites I have ever read. These two were just so intense and their love was soul deep....freaking loved these two.....relationship goals all the way. Oh and dibs on Cage...I read him first :).

Falling Into You by Mila Grayson, KU Book Reviews

How cute are these two? Really, really freaking cute. This story was just sweet and adorable. Liam's dog “literally” runs Bree over, before they can exchange names, numbers or anything her friend calls out to her and she leaves. Bree keeps thinking about him and is telling another friend about him and their connection. This is where the real fun begins…LOL…he post an ad on Craigslist under the Missed Connections page. Titled…”My Dog Knocked You Over. You Stole My Heart”…yeah, he said that…total Book Boyfriend material right there….added him to my BBC (book boyfriend collection) *sigh*. So, she calls him and they connect. Their quirky witty back and forth was right up my alley…loved it. Their reference to the creepy Craigslist ads and her 80 year old living inside her, Jack…so dang funny. Love that this story was told from both perspectives, I always love when authors do that, so that you always know what both characters are thinking. Such a fun and cute couple. And….another author for me to stalk, er follow….done.

Unexpected by Sophia Marie, Obsessed With Romance

Cecilia and Asher....this story brought a little tear to my eye. These 2 are both out with friends trying to relax from the daily grind of single parenting. They see each other at the club and right away have chemistry. I really liked that they have a ton of chemistry but still took the time to get to know each other. Great ending to their story. This story was sweet, hot and a little heart felt when they were being open about their past and how they became single parents. There is a fun little twist at the end and I freaking loved it....not afraid of asking for what you want. Really sweet and romantic read.....yes, I will be stalking...following her too.

Wildest Dreams by Kay Su, BooksandMe

I always love a good menage story, I did this one too....just wished there was more of it. Atria is trying to find herself and is fairly positive she is a sub and needs two doms. She gave up the love of her life because she felt she was missing something. She ends up running into him again and gets a tad tongue tied. Later she goes to a dom-sub party to try and find what she has been searching for. She finds her ex and another dom that her ex is close to. She finally gets what she has been searching for. The only problem I had with this was that we never find out if this is permanent or just for the night. I assumed it was more, but I am not positive. Her connection with her ex is very consuming, so I do assume it is the three of them...but not sure. I will be watching to see if they have another novella or book. They were super smoking hot...in her dream and her reality.

Love For Us by Sophia Sterling, Books and Boys Book Blog

This was a sweet, sweet story. Brynn always has bad luck with men, but then she starts talking to Simon via Friendbook (love that). These 2 really hit it off and start talking daily. They finally meet in person and he moves to the United States for her. Seriously, the trust and love between these two really is the sweetest thing. For them both to find their happily ever after...love it.

This was such an amazing anthology of short stories written by bloggers for a great cause. Quick, bite size stories. I loved the range of emotions packed in each story, from hot, sweet to hilarious and intense. I'm such a huge fan of HEA. I love that each story has a happy for now/happily ever after!
Love and War by Marley Valentine is a story about two people fighting their demons and clawing their way out of the dark into the light, and healing from their past. Ava and Cage are such amazing, flawed characters. Perfectly imperfect. Intense.
Falling Into You by Mila Grayson is all about finding love in the most unexpected places, which is what happens Bree and Liam, with the help of Brutus, the Dog. Great banter and chemistry and characters!
Unexpected by Sophia Marie Asher and Cecilia are two single parents, and their life changes one night when they meet in a club. Hot, fantastic story with fantastic characters!
I'll be posting more reviews of the other short stories. Looking for quick stories, stories you can read in one sitting? I really recommend this anthology.

Bloggers destined to be Writers.

Smuttily Ever After is a collection of stories from my favorite bloggers. Each story having a unique flare with their passion for words seeping from every page, evoking an array of emotion. Sentence after sentence, their stories gripping my attention until the end.

The happily ever after.

I believed these ladies had “author potential” from reading their reviews, but after reading their stories, I'm in awe. They far exceeded my expectations and easily became some of my favorite authors. I encourage them to keep writing. The reading world is definitely ready to devour every single word they have to offer. I know I am.

Plus, it's for an amazing cause!

Congratulations ladies!!!

What a wonderful selection of stories from Bloggers, dipping their toes into the writing world. And what an AMAZING job they have all done of it. A couple stood out for me, but overall I there wasn’t a single one I didn’t like.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Calculated
The Messy Mind of Monique Pearson
This story was great. It took me a couple of chapters to see where the story was going, but they did a great job of setting the scene. By chapter 4, I was drawn in completely. The chapters were very short, and to the point. Nora is hiring a new PA, after her current brilliant PA and friend is off on maternity leave. Rosey sources her new PA for Nora knowing exactly what she needs, and finds her Sunny/Sonny!!! There was a lot of attraction there and it was steaming hot at the end. I really hope to see more from this book and the characters! ****
Rolling On A River
The Saucy Owl
This was one of my favourites! Having used to watch a lot of roller hockey games in the past, it clicked with me. I loved the dual PoV from both Frankie and Taylor. And the chemistry and heat between these two was off the charts. I love the passion and the cheeky banter. Just an all round lovely short story with a great ending and well written characters and plot! *****
Love and War
Beauté De Livres - Beauty of Books
An interesting and very different short story. I really liked how this story lead us in, then a couple of chapters in I wondered what was happening! A good little twist, but cleverly done. I loved the fierce love for one another that these two characters had. There was a lot of intensity in this little story but it all worked out very well!! ****
Falling Into You
Mila Grayson | KU Book Reviews
Now this is my kind of story!! I LOVED IT! When Bree bumps into a mystery man, she instantly feels a connection with him. But how will she find him again & did he feel the same?! I loved Liam and Bree’s messages to one another, these absolutely made the story. I loved seeing how they got closer over their words, learning more about one another and the banter they had. There were some great exchanges that had me chuckling! And it was hot as anything…. A really swoon-worthy, lovely, happy story with a great epilogue! *****
Unexpected
Obsessed with Romance
Cecilia and Asher’s story was lovely! 2 single parents who both have instant chemistry, and have a wild nigh together, soon realising there’s a lot more between them. I loved their honesty with one another and the way they were obviously instantly addicted to one another. The sex scenes were steaming hot and well written. A great well rounded story written with dual PoV’s from both Cecilia and Asher, which I thoroughly enjoyed! ****.5
Wildest Dreams
Kay Su | BooksandMe
Atria has her ‘Wildest Dream’. With something missing from her previous relationship she’s keen to try something more, potentially with 2 men dominating her and taking charge whilst she submits. This story was fab – it was fast paced, hot, steamy and super sexy! I loved it! I was left wanting more from these characters though. I had lots of questions whirling around and I felt I wanted to know more about the relationships between them all. ****
Love For Us
Books And Boys Book Blog
Brynn is fed up with her life, of hopeless relationships where she has the power and has to do all the hard work. She wants her perfect fairytale which in her mind will mean she get to relinquish the power and someone else can take charge of her for once. She meets Simon online, and they quickly develop an online relationship. Will this be the one she’s looking for? A good short story, and although I wanted to know more and had a few questions, it was well written and a fun, sexy read. ****
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

All of these bloggers and now authors have done SO well! They all need a huge congratulations as they have all written such great stories. And such a brilliant selection, with each and every book totally different from the others.

This anthology has it all. It is sweet, sexy, happy package all rolled in to one with elements of fun, mystery, intrigue. With stories of insta-love, online love, sub/dom relationships with various PoV’s, it really does have it all!

And of course it’s all for a good cause, so I would highly recommend this book and tell you to purchase it today!!

***** 5 very impressive stars *****

I, for one, think this book is awesome. Bloggers having a go and using all the skills they've got from reading hundreds of books a year to raise some moolah for charity. How lovely!!

Paws With A Cause is a great charity, dogs are incredibly smart (except mine, he's thick as sh*t) but MOST are smart and these ones can do amazing things to help people AND provide unconditional love and comfort in the process. It's a really good cause, and you get some smut!! Smut for Mutts, Blogs for Dogs, Whores for Paws. And anything else that rhymes.

And if you have your doubts about bloggers writing, the amazing Helena Hunting wrote the foreword and she is a NYT Best Seller so we know it's gonna be pretty damn good. Am I right?? Yes I am.

These stores have the smut you've been looking for, they're quick and sexy reads that you just can't put down not that you would you want to anyways. I would of never guessed that these were written by readers and bloggers turned writers. Each of the stories have passion and focus from beginning to the end of each one. I loved that with a few stories it had the ending BUT there's still that possibility that maybe just maybe we can get more from these characters sometime in the future. Absolutely loved em. Must read for the true smut at heart. You won't be disappointed that's for sure, I loved each and every story. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

How do you write a review about bloggers that write amazing stories? The only way I can describe it- it's like when you go to a restaurant and you can't decide on dessert, or you just want a taste, so you order a dessert shot. This book is a delicious collection of 7 dessert shots waiting to be consumed. And the icing on the top- the proceeds go to Paws With a Cause.

Seven amazing bloggers took their vast knowledge of the genre and spectacular writing skills and created a collection that will fit any of your smut needs. This book probably contains your favorite romance trope and may convince you to have more than one favorite. I loved how most every story kept my attention, was easy to read, and wrapped up in a pretty little bow. You don't have to read them all at once, so it's perfect for a little smut fix in the middle of a busy day.

I will most certainly reread this one, and I CANNOT WAIT to read what other wonderful stories these ladies create.

I read Falling Into You by Mila Grayson.

Wow. I never fell in love with a man as fast as I did Liam. In a few short pages, like Bree, I felt like I knew him forever. And as for chemistry, how she built up such a burn with so little words blew me away. It was hot, heartwarming, and well written. I can't wait to read the others!

Smuttily Ever After is a great anthology, with different genres. An anthology I enjoyed to read.  Everything worked perfectly and I jumped from one story to another, effortlessly. A flawless execution!
Short, sexy, swoony, steamy and little dark, everyone will find a story to like!

Congratulations ladies, mission accomplished! Smut for the win!
  Calculated - The Messy Mind of Monique Pearson

First story and damn Monique Pearson sets the bar high. I wanted more. An independent woman who can take of herself and finds a sexy dominant alpha? Sign me in.

Sexy, hot and passionate, well this was quite the entertaining read. I was so into it that when the ending arrived I was like … more please?

Can't wait to read more and the story of Nora and Sonny has definitely all the elements to make a great full length novel.
  ROLLING ON A RIVER By R.S. Owl - The Saucy Owl

I love hockey and this story was high on sensations inside the game and outside, smutty and sexy, cold showers needed.

I was definitely rolling on a river with Frankie and Taylor, the thrill of a hockey game melting with the smoking hot sexual tension. I enjoyed the steamy parts, stalking references with two endearing characters.

Insta love and sweet, game on!
  LOVE AND WAR By Beaute De Livres - Beauty of Books

This story was just straightforward and holy moly once again damn hot. A couple, Ava and Cage trying to find their way back to each other. Lost in their addiction but fighting for what they have. Intense, beautiful and passionate. I was drunk in love with that story, a condensed and whirlwind love. The fear to let the one you love slip under your fingers and being so helpless about it was well written. From the beginning to the end, I loved reading how this couple got back together, stronger than ever.
  FALLING INTO YOU By Mila Grayson - KU Book Reviews

Their interactions were perky and amusing. I loved how they went from sweet to smoking hot and steamy. The banter was awesome, it worked perfectly and it was smoothly. I smiled a lot, I freaking swooned at times, and well I enjoyed the smut. Kinda hot. Is Liam real??

It was the perfect blend of sweetness with a hint of smut. Just heartwarming and enticing. How to prove that love at first sight can exist. The hopeless romantic in me was very pleased and I felt connected to this story, so great job!
  UNEXPECTED By Sophia Marie - Obsessed With Romance

The banter was very good and I enjoyed the spirit of madness of that night. Ash and Cécilia just clicked and it felt pretty natural and easy.

The connection they had was well built, definitely not cheesy, but steamy, passionate and naughty. The restrain of writing a novella was well managed and I wish I could have more pages, because I loved it so much, Ash and Cecilia won me over.

This was kind of bold and over the top but hell it worked perfectly. It was spontaneous and refreshing. If you want some smut and swooning, with hot characters, this one is for you.
  WILDEST DREAMS By Kay Su - BooksandMe

Where darkest, wildest fantasies and reality collided.

Sensual and hot desires about a woman who’s looking for the bliss. Definitely hot and steamy.

How would you react if your fantasies really came true? Would you take the resist or surrender to it?

I won’t reveal more about this story but be ready ladies for the erotic ride. The release will leave you high.
  LOVE FOR US By Sophia Sterling   Books and Boys Book Blog

I wasn’t expecting such a straightforward story, completely over the top. What happened when you let your guard down and someone in your life?

Well it gives you Simon and Brynn’s story. I read it in one sitting. From a connection to a online social media, growing into a relationship long distance for something so much more, you’ll be served with some naughty and dirty talks in between and I liked it. Just take a leap of faith and give a chance to happiness and love. A connection definitely faster than a wifi!

Being a blogger myself, I was so excited to scoop this book up. Lord knows we read enough smut, it only makes sense for a few very brave soles to write some! And to have it benefit such a great charity like Paws With a Cause... I was all in.

These stories ranged from sassy and comical (Rolling on a River) to completely hot & smutty (Wildest Dreams). There was a really great mix of sub genres within romance that really made each quick read unique and page turning.

Although the title implies a whole lot of smut, it really wasn't like that at all. More like romance with smut waved over the top. I can completely appreciate how difficult it must have been to put together 7 short stories like this and considering you are supporting such a great cause, there is no reason to not run out and one click. Right away!

A deliciously hot thing written by bloggers who know exactly how to entice their audience...

What can I say? These lovely bloggers have done a great job keeping me spellbound for a few hours at a time, flipping the pages, eager to read each story. There is a wide range of sub genres within romance presented here, and I believe there is something for everyone - as long as you enjoy hot and sexy reads, that is *wink*.

These short stories are more than panty-melting hot, however. There is a depth to the characters that I had not expected to see, but I am thrilled to say that they far surpassed my expectations.

They made me laugh, swoon, and sigh, and I applaud all the bloggers for a job well done!

Definitely worth a read - plus, do not forget that the proceeds go to a great cause! <3

Reviewing as i go

So I'm gonna review each story as I read them so I'll be adding to this over time.

Falling into you- Mila Grayson
I started with this one bc I was anxious to see what Mila wrote. Better than I could have imagined. Bree and Liam are so cute with their easy banter and you can't help but fall in love with them. Then Liam breaks out his dirty talk and wow! So hot! I loved everything about this short story and would have loved to have read more. Fantastic job!

VERY WELL DONE!!

I loved each and every story.
I loved how each blogger has their own writing style and that none of the stories were the same.

It gives you a lot of variety when reading the different stories all in one smutty book.

I would definitely recommend readers pick up this excellent read. If not for reading than for the cause it's supporting.
