This book was a quick, funny & had a moderate amount of steam to it.
Talia is thrown for a loop when she meets her boss Theo on a day when she's just a mess. She's instantly attracted to him but, try's to push it down when she makes wrong assumptions about him. She's not sure if he wants her or not but, soon finds out how much he does.
I loved how Theo was basically described as a Adonis but, he still wanted Talia stretch marks and all. Talia was described as what most women are, she was a curvy woman who loved food and hated to work out. She wasn't a woman who is a size 2 but, that's what Theo loved about her.
Talia was so funny, you can't help but like her snark. I do wish that I got more from Theos POV though, we only get a chapter at the end. I'm hoping the next book has a dual POV.

I kept going back and forth with this. First the main girl was strong, then weak, then strong then weak again. But in the end she was pretty strong and although I would have liked her strong I’m eager to read the next book.

This was absolutely cute and quick to read. I loved Theo and Talia. Their relationship was amazing. It took me for a loop, but the ending was amazing. Ingrid is a great friend and Lyra is a sad story of a woman.

Like a F*cking Boss was a very good read. The heroine was witty and didn't mince words. Oh, how I loved her! But I was a bit disappointed there wasn't the hero's POV at all. This book should have definitely had one because without it, the story just felt incomplete. And that's why I can't go higher than three stars, even though I had so much fun reading it.

OMF*CKINGG!!! I absolutely love Theo and Talia!!!!
Talia is a sexy, sassy BBW who knows who she is and loves herself. She works for a design firm that was just taken over by a super sexy mogul with a no-nonsense rep and a stickler for being on time. Too bad Talia is having a bad day on the new boss' first day at work.
After dealing with an irritating supervisor, running late getting back from lunch, and spilling taco sauce on her ass-hugging fuchsia skirt, she is almost run over by a maniac in a Porsche on her way back to the office. If that wasn't bad enough she shoots her mouth off in the meeting with the new boss and gets in trouble.
Things go back and forth for a while with the sexy new CEO who is stern, but confuses her by flirting. She is unsure if she is reading him wrong, even after he blatantly adjusts his massive hard-on in front of her. She assumes he is dating her mentor/friend Ingrid so she ignores the burning attraction between them.
After many attempts to date her, Theo finally gets Talia's attention at a gala where he proceeds to finger her to ecstasy in a greenhouse, but when he asks her to join him at his home, she snaps to her senses and declines. She feels guilty, thinking she has betrayed her friend.
Eventually the miscommunication clears up and Theo and Talia start getting it in! He is at her house almost every night unless he is out of town. Hunty he dusted off all the cobwebs. Soon their friends with benefits arrangement isn't enough for Talia who values herself as more than just a booty call. She wants more, but assumes he doesn't.
Theo is forced to finally admit his want to be more than just f buddies when she turns him down for a late night session saying she has plans. He is a little stalkerish (I know, not a word, but it fits) when he waits outside her apartment and texts her that she needs to come home. Evidently she finds it charming and hey if she likes it then I love it!
Things work out for these lovers both in and out of the office. Now, I am really choosy when it comes to my book boyfriends and which ones I let have repeat appearances. Well, when Theo revealed his tattoo of fornicating rabbits, he earned his entry into the hall of fame. You'll have to read the book to know what this means, but when you do you'll understand why I fell for him. Soo sweet! I am looking forward to reading book 2 in the series!!!

Received this book this morning and once started only stopped for a minute to shoot a quick email to the author, truly meant it, her mind is my new hero! This book is well written and edited. The storyline flowed freely, the author really does understand the personality of her plus size heroine. This book really reads as authentic, the characters are full of depth and are very relatable! Great Job! I will be looking for everything else this author has to offer!

I really loved this book but didn't know it was only the first part of a duo. Having said that it was great. I really liked Talia she was a strong and sassy character. Theo was a good match for her and he didn't put up with Lyras bitchy character. It was quite funny too with Talias inner thoughts there for us to read. Read it you will LOVE it.

Feels incomplete
Short office romance with a hot 6'5" alpha type and a sassy, curvy, go getter. Theo is instantly attracted to Talia, but because of mixed signals, Talia keeps Theo at arm's length despite her attraction to him. Some steamy intimacy scenes, overall quality of writing was ok and proofreading had a few glitches. This story could have been so much more if we could have seen Theo's take throughout the story and not just one scene that was included in the end. Although this can be a stand alone, there's more to the promise of a happy continuation in Lady part 2. This might help plump this story up, but I'm content at ending with this one.

This was a very good somewhat erotic story about a billionaire who has met him match in a bit beautiful woman. As soon as Theo sees Talia she has an immediate effect on him. She tries to keep her attraction in check because she has been hurt before. She alo grew up in tough neighborhoods. Theo was hurt years ago and as a CEO knows there can but problems when mixing business and pleasure. I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by this author.

Talia wears what she wants and speaks her mind, which can get her in trouble. And it does, the first day she meets her new boss! ARC Industries has a new CEO, Theodore Salmon, and Talia thinks he's going to be old, fat and bald. Well, he's bald but he's HOT and sexy. I loved Theodore. He was a great CEO...fair and ran his business seriously...but he could be unsure and sweet when it came to Talia. She did NOT make it easy for him. I loved the bantering and the story was awesome!

I just loved Theo and Talia's story -- hot and captivating. I enjoyed how the miscommunications between them heightened the excitement and the heat, ratcheting it up to historic levels. If you enjoy your heroes alpha and your heroines kick ass, you need to check out this book. What a great first book from a promising author. I voluntarily reviewed this book for the author and am so glad that I did.

Author Quinn's writing is refreshing and vibrant! I fall into her words and can close my eyes and easily picture her story in my head while adding my own personal spin on the images!
Talia is unapologetically herself... I want her confidence, her style and fashion sense, I want to be her!
Theodore is what you want in male lead; he is smart, handsome and knows who and what he wants.

Really fun
I liked this a lot and will be picking up other titles. I enjoyed how Talia is curvy and her internal monologue. I really liked the bonus chapter from Theo's point of view. I wish I had a place to try on and buy nice lingerie. Being busty means ordering off the internet and crossing your fingers. Tbh the shopping scenes are where I get envious. It's always hit or miss in real life.

Absolutely amazing! Great chemistry amongst the characters!

This was a great book!! I loved Talia, gutsy take no prisoners kinda woman. Theo is without a doubt an alpha male, a hot alpha male !!
This is my first book by this author and i cannot wait to read more from her.

Excellent funny sassy read
This book is hilarious. From the word go I was laughing my head off at Talia's sassy comments and I fell in love with her character she's the best. It's fast paced with quick wit and sassy comments that will keep you loving their romance and a nice touch with they'd pov at the end of the book

Such a fun book
I really enjoyed it, i like how sassy talia was. I do have a bone to pick with the author talia isnt bbw, she is curvy at best but a size 12-14 is pretty average size and not likely to engender the kinda of mocking suggested in the book. This lady is a bit chunky but. By no means a bbw; still a cute character and fun but the title is misleading

Good storyline and I like how the characters are written but this story would benefit from a few proofreads. Some parts come out as awkward and needs just simple transition phrases. 2.5 stars for me.

I enjoyed this book. There was a few times I didn't think I would finish because of Talia's I'm a strong woman don't need a man attitude, but kept going. That's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. I am happy with the way things turned out. This is a really good BBW book. Thanks for writing that a hot guy like Theo can be with someone like Talia.
