I grew up with this book and #6. I grew up with Brill and Segra. These characters helped to shape my world as a child. And I am better for it. In college I finally had the means to get the other four books and finally I was able to hear the whole story! It's sweet and charming and funny and touching. I recommend this series to anyone who has the ability to get their hands on their own copies. Segra is a heroine who never loses faith and always believes in doing the right thing and helping others. She is a character that is a great role model for young girls and I can't wait to share this series with my nieces!
