***4.5 Stars***
Sienna McDonald is a brilliant neonatal cardiothoracic surgeon. She traveled to Montanari to offer surgical training and while there met Sebastian Falco and spent a passionate weekend in his arms. She didn't know, however, that he was the Crown Prince of Montanari. He was disturbed by the fact his parents were pushing him into a marriage he did not want with a childhood friend who could never be more than a friend to him. Heck, they had never even shared a kiss. They were uniting for the sake of their respective countries, an alliance if you will.
After returning home Sienna is back to her regular duties as a surgeon and on the very day she takes a pregnancy test with a positive result, Montanari announces to the world the engagement of their prince. Sienna decides to keep the pregnancy to herself and tells no one who the father of her baby is. She is crushed, broken-hearted, and feels betrayed. How could he have jumped into an engagement as soon as she left?
Even though the prince was engaged he thought of Sienna constantly and she thought of him. She had tried to put him out of her mind but it was an impossibility.
The prince and Sienna had a mutual friend at Teddy's Hospital who did not know about the weekend the two had spent together. On a particular phone call that Dr. Oliver placed to his old school chum, Prince Sebastian, he was telling him that he, himself, was going to become a father when he also happened to mention the advanced stage of Sienna's pregnancy.
When Seb found out how far along she was, he felt certain the child was his and quickly canceled the engagement.
He heads to Teddy's Hospital where his friend, Oliver, and Sienna worked. It is there that the Prince has his work cut out for him. Sienna is a damaged woman who grew up with a mother and father who neither one loved her. She had only had the love of her aunt during holidays spent together. It was something that affected her greatly and somewhat colored what she expected out of a relationship.
Quite a lovely ending once the pregnancy hormone-ladened Sienna went a bit nuts and pushed the prince away briefly.
This was a good read and I definitely recommend it.

Dr Sienna McDonald has a fling with Sebastian Falco while in his country of Montanari. She's there to teach some surgeons some skills, or something. She freaks out when she realises that he's actually Prince Sebastian, and accuses him of being a horrible, filthy liar and even throws stuff at the wall. You'll find Sienna is prone to assumptions and overreactions throughout this story. Once back in England, she sees a story that Sebastian is engaged to be married, so she keeps the paternity quiet, not wanting to cause a scandal. I can actually understand this, so it didn't raise my hackles the way it usually would when a woman hides a pregnancy from the father in this genre.
However, Sebastian learns of the pregnancy and breaks off the engagement, which was one of convenience only, anyway. He heads to England, wanting to make sure that this baby is the rightful, legitimate heir to his kingdom, and getting Sienna to marry him. She will have no part of it, because she refuses to give up her career and friends for a fairytale. She's also haunted by the fact her parents have always resented her because she was an unexpected baby, and only stayed together because of her. She doesn't want that for her own child. If Sebastian wants her to be his bride, he has to offer the whole package - marry her because he loves her!
As for me, I certainly think Sebastian provided the whole package! He seemed like a decent guy. It was Sienna I never really connected with. She was all, "I want this!" and "I want that!" with absolutely zero consideration of the fact that both sides need to make concessions and compromises in order for a relationship to work. Here, it's all up to Sebastian to bring everything, including the kitchen sink, to the table, while Sienna just sits around and feels sorry for herself, or barks orders, or throws unfair accusations at him right up until T-minus 30 seconds! Her one-way ticket on board the assumption train during the Big Misunderstanding was difficult to fathom.
Despite claiming she had no interest in the royal fairytale Sebastian offered, Sienna certainly acted like an entitled queen throughout this book. I hope she's worth it, Sebastian! When she kicks you out of the palace the next time you don't do things 100% the way she wants them, come knock on my door!

MS Wilson never disappoints me with one of her stories she brings out the best in emotions from her characters makes you feel part of the story and these characters become friends and this story is a beauty loved it the setting the story line so good and it is a Christmas story.
Sienna McDonald is Scottish and with an accent that makes a lot of men melt and she is pretty feisty with it but she is also a top neonatal cardiothoracic surgeon at Teddy's in The Cotswolds but when she is sent to Montanari to help train the Doctors there she meets Sebastian and the sparks fly and both decide on a fling that neither of them will forget ever and that leaves Sienna pregnant.
Prince Sebastian Falco leads a busy life a life that is all about duty so when he meets the gorgeous feisty Sienna at the bar and with an impending duty engagement about to be announced a fling is all that he is thinking about but really this pull he has never felt for a woman before and their fling does not end well and Sienna leaves and returns home but Seb cannot stop thinking about Sienna and his duty and when he hears about the pregnancy he goes after her.
What a fabulous journey to a beautiful HEA Seb arrives at Teddys determined to make Sienna his wife and make his child the legitimate heir to the throne never thinking that Sienna would not want what any woman would want the fairytale a Prince a castle but she is nothing but feisty and strong it is Christmas Sienna's favourite time of the year and she has no intention of marrying for duty that brings back too many memories for her so Seb works hard. This story will have you smiling throughout what a beautiful story it is I can highly recommend it really don't miss this one.

I'm not quite sure why this book was 'off' for me. I didn't warm up to either him or her for some reason. I gave the book 3 stars because it was better than 2 stars, but because there are no 1/2-stars like I could give at another site, I defaulted to 3.
I'm reading through this little series (4 books, 4 different authors) so you meet characters from the other books which is a nice reunion kind of thing, but I was getting antsy reading all the descriptions of the heroine's Christmas decorations, and all the angsty stuff about why she didn't believe in HEA, or men, or anything else for that matter. She was all over the board in a rather OTT way. The story almost felt like an outline of a book the author wanted to write, with all the meat and juice to be added later.
I enjoy this author - a previous Wilson read was a 5-* gem, so I do look forward to radingmore from her.

"A Royal Baby For Christmas (Christmas Miracles in Maternity)" by Scarlet Wilson is a medical romance that was enjoyable to read. Neonatal surgeon Sienna McDonald has a fling with Sebastian Falco, Crown Prince of Montanari. They agreed that it would be just fun, but Sienna finds out their fling had permanent consequences. It doesn't help that when they decided to have their fling it was at a duty engagement party for himself. So worth the read to find out what happens in their story.

I really enjoyed this book! It was so refreshing and wonderful with a huge Christmas vibe.
The writing style was great, and the story wasn't dragged out until the ending, when there was an unnecessary silly little mix up. Otherwise a great book. 3.5 Stars.
