Before quarantine, my family would eat out almost 4 nights a week, but when lock down arrived we were forced to start cooking for ourselves. Hence, we decided to order “28 days of Clean Eating: The Healthy Way to Kick Dieting Forever”. This cookbook contains a variety of recipes from fresh tropical smoothies to Delicious marinated tofu and vegetable kebabs. The main point of this cookbook is to provide an alternative to conventional dieting. Many people associate being healthy to dieting, but in most cases, as explained in the book, dieting can be unsustainable in the long run and also feel like a punishment. Being a healthy and fit person does not mean starving yourself, it's about making healthier choices. This book does just that by adding simple, easy yet delicious dishes to your dinner table. My family has incorporated many of the recipes found in the book into our meal plan, which has inspired us to lead more healthier lives, and not just nutritionally. And if you're one of those people who can't plan out meals, don't worry this cookbook has you covered with a 7-day planner. As more unhealthy foods are available to us, and some we can’t even detect, it's important to respect what you put in your body, this cookbook helped my family to start doing that, and it might even help yours. - Kiran Thomman, 10th grade
This book contains a good number of recipes that I would actually cook. I like that I have many of the ingredients on hand and that I don't need special equipment to make the recipes.
It looks like it'll be a pretty good cookbook. I just wish it had smaller portions, but I guess I can just do the math. Doesn't seem too overly complicated. Now to apply everything.
My husband and I started this cookbook in July, it's December now and we are still eating from it everyday. We've lost weight, felt healthier and have enjoyed every meal. I love the grocery lists and weekly planning. It makes for easy meals for our busy lives. Looking for another book from same author or one like it.
