Hilarious, cheeky humour, which even a child could read and not be corrupted by, because the wordplay is so clever that the suggestive parts are very skilfully hidden by separating the tricky words in such a way that a child, unless they are very forward in the English language, could not realise that they are meant to be saucy.
Contains the brilliant “Nows at Ton” sketch where Ronnie Barker had to read the news with a broken Autocue where all of the Letter Es had been replaced by the letter O; classic. It does not contain the “Four Candles” sketch which would not work in print; but does include “Boffo” and the “Dr D’arth” skits that made me roar with laughter as a kid.
