The book is great if you're only looking for practices. But if you are at least partially oriented towards scientific psychology, then you will be disappointed. Hennessey doesn't really strive to explain theories behind his practices (not even in very pop-psychology way). So you can get all the experience you want, grounding it in theory (if that is what you need) won't happen. It is a shame because otherwise the book is easy to understand, full of nice tips, and really inviting. Even if you are not one for trying the techniques, you are willing to try with this book (but if you bought it in the first place, you were probably at least somewhat willing already). It is a good buy, but I expected a little more of it. 3,5/5
A marvellous little tome picked up from Oxfam for the princely sum of £1.99. As with all 'self-help' the utility (of reading it) lies in the implementation - which is nearly always easier said than done.
Adopting a 2 min review (of the previous days material) + 5 min read of new material on a daily basis should help me achieve this...I hope.
This has helped and despite being the 'little mindfulness workbook', I can testify to the fact that it's chock full of good advice on how to work with your mind. I should also note that there are accompanying instructional meditations that can be accessed via the SoundCloud app.

( العملي الصغير للوعي التام) الكتاب عبارة عن تسعة فصول، مليئ بالتمارين التي تعينك على الوصول للوعي التام، ويستحسن أن تقرأه بتروي وتطبق التمارين لتحقق فائدة أكبر .
الوعي التام هو ببساطة طريقة نظامية تستطيع من خلالها أن تطور الادراك، وهو عبارة عن جهد يبذل و انتباه دون إصدار أحكام.

Great little book. Loads of useful information and advices. One of does book, you want to read again and you know you will learn agaun something new from it.
