I've been on a finance kick recently in my non-fiction, mostly because they're from a university library and I was on a finance kick several months ago. With the auto-renewal of books for faculty, well, they sit there, judging me until I read them all.
This was a well-written attempt at understanding exactly what went wrong at E. F. Hutton in the mid-80s. With a number of the participants not agreeing to interviews and others pointing the fingers at each other, it's tough to say what really went wrong. Found it worthwhile reading.
