Pepper and Grayson go way back, two star crossed lovers in their teens, so who better than to protect Pepper than the man who loves her still and who will go above and beyond to keep her safe. He lost her once all those years ago and he'll do anything in his power to not let that happen again.

I'm not the settling type, nor do I think I need a man in my life to feel complete. I'm not opposed to love, and I want to believe in soul mates, but I fear that ship has sailed for me. I loved somebody once. And he broke my heart. ~ PepperThis is a slow paced second chance romance, a dying mans wish, young lovers reunited, loss.
I'm going to be witch or bitch hunted for this but I must be one of the minority with this book, because usually this is my one click genres, aka second chance romance, but sadly for me it just didn't pack enough punch to keep me focused throughout, my mind wasn't 100% on the book and that is a bad sign for me. The writing and storyline was good, just not fast paced enough for me.

I love Emily Goodwin and this book was an amazing second chance romance!!! Jailbait is a book full of mystery, secrets, romance and angst.
Pepper comes from wealth but she is anything but a silly rich girl. She doesn't want to follow what society forces her to do and she has a great strength as a heroine.
Her world comes upside down when she sees the man who left a big hole in her heart. Grayson was her only love and now he is back. His mission? To protect her...but from whom?
Passion rekindles but schemes and secrets will try and get between them. Can they survive all the things that threaten to tear them apart?
I loved how the book flowed. It had everything I like in a book; good characters and refreshing plot! Be prepared for sizzling romance that will leave you craving more.
I recommend it!

This book will draw you in the second you start reading, but be warned it will definitely eat you alive!! It’s emotional and suspenseful, but it’s so well put together! Pepper and Grayson together shouldn’t work, but there’s something about their relationship that just draws you in. Grayson will do whatever it takes to keep Pepper safe, which is noble and quite honestly sexy as hll! Pepper, I really fell for her… there was just something about her that I couldn’t get enough of! Really great book and I can’t wait to read more from Emily in the future!

I devoured this book in less than 24 hours; something I haven’t done in a crazy long time. The depth of the characters was perfect and I LOVE how Pepper wasn’t your typical ‘heroine in distress’. She had a good head on her shoulders which is refreshing to read. When it came down to it at the end (I REALLY don’t wan to spoiler this because you have to read it) I was smiling ear to ear with her brave, no nonsense actions.
And Grayson…. Mmmmm. I can’t say enough about my Grayson King… MINE. That’s a good word. I claim him, because he’s just the PERFECT book boyfriend, even if he does have scary, mean skeletons in his closet.
Together the two of them will keep you turning the pages to find out what’s going to happen. About 2/3 of the way through I hit the 1 am point where I was so tired I kept dropping the phone on my face but I couldn’t stop reading because I KNEW something amazing was going to happen. I was right. I also was really tired the next day but it was TOTALLY worth it. All Or Nothing is most definitely a must read of 2016 <3

This is my first read from Emily Goodwin so i had no expectations going in. I love a good second chance romance and this is what i got. We have a rich girl/badboy relationship.
Grayson has been to prison and is trying to just get by then one day he get's a call he never expected to get and really doesn't know what to make of it. The Father of the only girl Grayson has ever loved called for his help but knowing he broke her heart he struggles with going back and facing her again. When he gets their he is asked to look out for her without her knowing which surprises him, he's always gotten along with Pepper's father, as his father was old army buddies with Pepper's father. He agrees to do this because Pepper's life could be endanger and that her father is dying and want's to know that she is protected only he won't give Grayson all the details...
Pepper is a wealthy woman but not just from her Daddy she makes her own money and is very independant about that.
She feel's eyes on her but when she realises who's eyes have been watching she's shocked, angry and confused as to why now, why has he returned can she go through this again, she loved him and he left her and never looked back.
Pepper has never fully understood why he left and want's answers so when the time comes that they do meet again its hot passionate fearful but the love is still their for them both. So when there's a foundation there's always something to build on they have just got to find their way and trust again.
There's twist's and turn's for them as a couple and past's that need to addressed or it will tear them apart. We do get a happily ever after and i'm not going into all the details as this would spoil the read.

This was my first Emily Goodwin book. Let's just say I freaking loved it! This second chance romance between Grayson and Pepper is sensational! An heiress and a former convict. Lots of drama and action packed in this quick read! Highly recommend!

Both characters were frustrating. Pepper was a spoiled princess, I hoped for more down to earth from her but then she'd go shopping or name drop designers. Grey, he could of come clean so many times! But Pepper did overreact to just the smallest part that wasn't his fault so I can't blame him.

Walking away is never easy...
Jailbait - the title may make you think of underage kids, but while this love story starts with young adults - the term is meant totally different. Grayson would do anything for Pepper. And I do mean anything - fight, maim, kill - she is his jailbait. Because even though he knows with his record he already has two strikes against him, he'll do whatever it takes to protect her. So don't let the title scare you off. I loved this story of passion and protection. The only question is what would you do?? Would you give up everything to help those you love? And now a bit about the story...
Grayson and Pepper are having the time of their lives. Living as "adults" in different colleges. Pepper has come home for break and they continue to sneak around her family manor. Until one night he answers a late night phone call and then never comes back. At least not until 6 years later when she finds him stalking her. Can she trust him, why is he back? When tragedy strikes she is torn, will she be able to forgive the past?
Favorite passages:

- Because the queen always protects the king.

Wow! This was an amazing read that had a lot of emotion put into it. There was plenty of hot moments throughout the book and there was a lot of heartache in it as well. Jailbait was completely different then I thought it would be and absolutely loved it. The story is told in dual point of view of both main characters Grayson and Pepper.
The main hero of the book Grayson was a recently released convict that was trying to make a life for himself. Grayson was a caring and loving guy that never stopped loving his teenager girlfriend Pepper. Grayson is a tattooed alpha that done anything that he could to keep his love safe. I absolutely loved reading about Grayson.

Greyson
Loved it! Not many authors have the ability to write the way Emily does. No matter the genre Emily grabs you from the first word to the last. Just as emotional as you would expect; it tears at the heart strings and makes you feel.
Greyson and Pepper are not perfect but their story grabs you by the seat of your pants and pulls you along for a fabulous ride!
Greyson has had a rough past; Pepper is the girl next store and by girl next store I mean girl in the mansion next door. Their love is transcendent and has withheld through the hardest test of love - will they make it to the other side once the truth is out?

This is the first time I have read any of this authors work, and it will not be the last, as she certainly does not disappoint. This is a second chance romance for Pepper and Grayson. This story is a quick read, but is action packed and filled with drama, mystery, secrets, angst, and most of all romance.
I recommend this authors work for all second chance romance lovers, and I look forward to reading more or her work in the future.

I've read quite a few of this author's books, but I really want to read them all lol! I decided to continue reading this author's books with this book! I'd had it sitting on my Kindle since it released, but I just hadn't picked it up yet! After reading, I can say that I enjoyed this book! I did think that the relationship between the two main characters progressed too quickly, even though they'd had a previous relationship, but apart from that I enjoyed it! I also think that there was too much sex! I can't believe I've even written that lol, but there was a sex scene in almost every chapter, which meant that I did end up skipping over them, even though they were seriously hot lol! I enjoyed the plot though and it all led up to a big scene at the end! There was also plenty of romance and some action and suspense in the plot too! I loved all three aspects and they added a lot to the plot! The plot only took me a few sittings to read too! The characters were also amazing and made this book even better! Grayson 'Gray' was the main male character, and in this book Gray was a guy that had tried to do the right thing, but had ended up getting himself in serious trouble! I did feel for Gray, and he did try his best to handle the situation he was left with, but it was a lot more dangerous than he thought! Gray was also seriously hot and I loved the way he was with his love interest! He was very protective of her, which was understandable, and it was easy to see that he had deep feelings for her! He was seriously hot with his love interest too! Pepper was the main female character and love interest of Gray! Pepper went through a lot in this book and she lost the last person that meant everything to her! This meant that Pepper was put in a lot of danger, even though she'd done nothing wrong! Pepper also didn't act pretentious and snobby because she came from money and she was down to earth! I loved this about her! Pepper also put herself in a very dangerous situation in this book and it actually made me have a lot of respect for her! She tried her best to help Gray and rescue him and she grew a lot as a character! I loved that this book was written from both Gray and Pepper's point of views! The synopsis made it sound like it was only going to be written from Gray's point of view, but I was really hoping that it was going to be written from dual point of view, so I'm really happy that it was! It helped me connect more with both characters and allowed for more things to happen in the plot! I can also completely understand why this book is a standalone! The ending was left at the perfect place and all the loose ends were tied up! I will miss Gray and Pepper though! I can't wait to read this author's books that I haven't read yet too! I can't wait to see what she's going to release next as well! The cover for this book also suits it perfectly and is hot! I love it a lot! The model on the front definitely looks like Gray too! I also know that the title of this book was changed, and I definitely think this was the right move! The original title might have put me off a bit lol!

Wow! I couldn’t put this book down as I was hooked from the first page until the last! I read the whole book in two days and that was only because I had to work in between (don’t you hate it when work gets in the way of reading ). I’m a fast reader but it’s only when I’m hooked like this I can read a book this quick.
Grayson King and Pepper Davenport were college sweet hearts from two very different worlds. Grayson is the son of a military father turned biker while Pepper is the heiress to a large fortune from her family. The two are very much in love until Grayson’s father gets in to trouble with his biker gang and Grayson has to run to his rescue. Grayson leaves Pepper in New York to travel to California to help his father thinking he will be back soon but things quickly get out of hand, and when his father dies Grayson is stuck with his father’s debt to the gang. Pepper, thinking Grayson has left because he doesn’t love her, is heartbroken and tries to move on with her life.
Six years later, Grayson is called back to New York by Pepper’s father when he hires Grayson to keep an eye on Pepper. Pepper’s father pays off Grayson’s debt to the biker gang, sets him up with a bank account, house and car. I love when characters aren’t perfect and have flaws even though they’re …fictional. Gasp! I know, I wish they were out living their lives somewhere and you could call them up to check on them. Emily just happens to be one of my favorite authors and she didn’t disappoint. This story had a little bit of angst, a few secrets, and whole lotta sexy. Just the way I like em. Pepper is a strong female. Is there any other way to be? She’s sweet, smart, sexy, and still in love with Grayson after all these years. Grayson is tough, hardened, and rough around the edges. But his softer side comes out for Pepper making you just sigh out loud. Don’t get me wrong, remember the angst and secrets I mentioned? Well those are the moments where you want to scream at your kindle and definitely one of Grayson’s flaws. Together they are the perfect couple and have you rooting for them. This story has elements of today’s society that make you think twice such as poverty, money, and good ol Instagram. I like that you’re able to get into Pepper’s head and know her character a little better by these thoughts, making her really well developed. I also like that Grayson was a man’s man. Sometimes female authors have a hard time making the men sound believable, because well they’re not men. Emily gives the perfect point of view from a man’s perspective making his thoughts and actions believable.
The only reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 is because I felt the ending was a little rushed. I won’t give out spoilers, but I’m still thinking about some the loose ends from both of their lives that weren’t quite tied up. That could have been intentional on Emily’s part, but like I said, I wanna know what’s going on with my new friends. Some people like to fill in the blanks on their own. I loved Pepper and Grayson and their story. Entertaining, love filled, and steamy are how I’d describe this book. What are you waiting for. Go buy it!

Jailbait is a second chance romance told from two point of views.
First we have Grayson who was just released from prison and summoned to New York to watch over a dying man's daughter. Then we have Pepper, the daughter of said dying man. Pepper and Grayson have a history. They were once in love until a decision that Grayson was forced into split the happily ever after couple up. Now they are reconnected and the flame that they once had for each other is once again ignited. Pepper, however has issues and is unable to fully trust Grayson after all the pain he put her through when he disappeared off the grid. Little does Pepper know it wasn't all rainbows and sunshine for Grayson. When another threat to their relationship steps in the couple finds out if they are really strong enough to withstand even the toughest of storms.
I liked Jailbait...I really wanted to love this novel. The concept was enticing.The drawback for me was throughout the novel your wondering who Pepper's dad wants Grayson to protect her from. It builds up to you basically questioning every character that comes in contact with Pepper. The conclusion was sadly disappointing when it comes to the huge breakthrough.
I loved the relationship and romance side to this story. I loved Pepper's walls she built up around her heart to keep Grayson out at first but as you probably can tell those walls quickly came down. I enjoyed the emotion shown from the characters. The emotion made it easier to connect to both Pepper and Grayson.
Even though the conclusion and build up scene were a let down, i did enjoy reading Jailbait. the romance portion of this story was written well. The Characters were easy to connect with and this novel did hook me in for the majority of it. The positives outweigh the negativity.

I took this book to review because I love second chance romance that had an interesting blurb.

Grayson has been gone for a few years, leaving behind Pepper without any explications. Now he's returned and brought trouble with him. They are both in danger from a past that Grayson thought was no longer a threat. This is a second chance romantic suspense.
It looked promising when I initially started reading it. I was 50% in and it was slow paced and I had no idea what the story was about. The final punch line didn't really fit with why Grayson came back. To me it looked like the person who asked him to come back wanted the trouble that followed him to come with. I still don't know why he returned except to protect Pepper from???? I don't know. I really wanted to love it, but it fell flat. I did read it in a matter of hours because I was waiting for something that would make me change my mind.
The romance was amazing thought, they had chemistry. There was quite a few scorching hot steamy scenes. I enjoyed the epilogue very much, it brought conclusion to this couple.
Standalone told in dual POV with an HEA. This is a 3 star story.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book (given by Hype PR)...
I really wanted to love this book; it had a romantic reunion, mystery and action, but it fell a little flat in delivery. Pepper and Grayson were together as teenagers but when Grayson's father gets into major trouble Grayson leaves to help him. Grayson disappears for 6 years and Pepper's father brings him back into her life, but he also brings danger.
Spoilers:
Pepper's father, Alcott, calls Grayson and employs him to keep an eye on Pepper, his former sweetheart, because she may be in danger. Grayson accepts the job and watches Pepper (without her knowing) but when Pepper is almost hurt by his past he reveals himself.
Now Alcott is dying and believes his daughter is in danger, but he never tells anyone who it is. He dies before revealing any truths to Grayson and Pepper and we never find out what was the danger Alcott was referring to. But I believe Alcott was trying to reunite the lost lovers, but unfortunately, his plan really did bring danger to his daughter.
Pepper forgave Grayson for his abandonment instantly, but kept finding reasons to push him away. There is a lot of back and forth between them and most of their problems could be handle with one conversation. There are lots of steamy moments, but after a while it became repetitive. I skimmed some of pages of the book.

This story completely blew me away for the beginning till the end. This story had so much that made it into such a mind blowing piece of work. The characters, plot, even the secondary characters. This book took me on an emotional roller-coaster that when it ended I was drained. Caiden and Blaire both go through do much for a love that was forbidden and taboo from the beginning. Their love wasn’t one that was meant to be but sometimes what’s right isn’t always the best thing. This story won’t be for everyone but for me it was one of the best I have read in a while.

Caiden knows there’s something different about Blaire when he meets her but he’s not quite sure but he is sure that he can’t shake the feelings she makes him feel when she’s near. Blaire might be young but she has a pretty good head on her shoulder but now that she has her sights on Caiden is he just another hot guy or will he fill the void that seems to fill her day by day. This book had me questioning myself all throughout the book I cried, wanted to throw my kindle countless times but the ending was worth it somehow.
This was a great book to read I cannot wait to see what’s next because if this is a start then I'm hooked already and more.

Jailbait pulls you in right from the beginning and you won’t want to put it down. There was always something going on and you couldn’t wait to see what was next. I was emotionally exhausted when I was done. Be prepared.
I felt like Grayson and Pepper were doomed from the beginning but yet fought so hard to be together no matter what. This is a great second chance romance that will keep you guessing at every corner on will they, or won’t they. I loved it.

Her heart is broken but one can never really forget one's first love, When he comes crashing back into her life, sparks are bound to fly but will the star-crossed couple be able to find each other with all that's going on?
This is not my first book by the author nor will it the last. I really like her writing- how she depicts the characters. Grayson and Pepper were smoking hot together for sure! My heart just melted for them.. The story pulls you in right from the beginning and you'll just have to keep going. My emotions were all over the place by the time I was done reading. All in all, this was a good read and I would definitely recommend this book to the romance readers out there!

So I've been dying to read this book since the Author announced it was on the way and my lord was I not disappointed!
First off, who doesn't love a sexy male lead with the name Grayson King!?! The name alone is enough for me to swoon never mind all the other characteristics. The character of Grayson was everything I've ever wanted in a book boyfriend and I could not get enough of him.
Then you have Pepper. She may be rich and a different class all on her own, but she was one of female leads I've been able to relate too the most. There was just a wholesomeness to her that made her more than likable and I just adored her.
Overall I found Jailbait to be a fast passed, sexy story about breaking out of the mold and achieving the unachievable. I absolutely loved it and highly recommend this story.

Emily Goodwin was a new-to-me author. I do love me a good second chance romance so Jailbait was one I was definitely intrigued enough by the blurb to pick up. I have to admit I was a tinge nervous because her stories are usually darker and I definitely don't go there. This one, however, wasn't - it was a spicy little romantic suspense story.
The first half the book dragged a little bit for me. Though it definitely didn't lack the hotness I was hoping for. But the story was just a tad lackluster. But once I got through the halfway point it picked up with a vengeance.
While the first 50% was more slow moving than I like, the rest definitely picked up my rating of this story. It was an edge-of-your-seat, nail biter. I liked this book quite a bit. And Goodwin is a great go-to author for steam, spice and suspense.

So this is the type of review I hate doing.. I'm being very generous with giving this book 4 stars. I must say I was drawn in by the blurb but when I started reading it, I just wasn't feeling anything. It was just ok but I had no connection to either character. I didn't cry at parts I know I should have and while I liked Pepper and Grayson, the story was just left me feeling blah. I will say I loved the epilogue and the fact that they got their second chance at love. I really hate writing bad reviews like this but if I don't feel the book, I let the author know. This just wasn't for me,I'm sorry.
