This was a quick, hot read about a young PA falling for her boss. Everything is kept professional until one night working late the power goes out just as they enter the elevator and the boss can no longer keep his hands off of her.
I like the writing and I love the whole boss/PA trope. It could be a bit steamier for such a short read.

Short low angst read.
Brandon is a confident professional man who has set high goals for his career. He was raised in a hard working family in the hills of WV. He has worked hard his entire life to rise up and make something of himself. He didn't allow distractions. That is until he falls for his lovely assistant, Chelsea.
Chelsea was sweet and likeable. She worked her way through college and enjoyed her job, even though it wasn't what she had planned for. She also hadn't planned to fall for her handsome boss. She hides her crush on him the best she can, not knowing he feels the same way.
A horrible storm and a broken elevator puts them in a position to finally act on their feelings. Will Brandon ruin it before it even has a chance to take off?

--some slight pushing away by hero
--absolutely zero ow/om drama
--lukewarm sex scenes
--older man/younger woman (35/24)
--mediocre epilogue with a HFN ending. An extended epilogue is offered at the end of the story if you sign up for it. I of course did, (being the epilogue whore that I am) and it led to me nothing. I still don't have the extended epilogue.

Wow a boss/employee sexy story?? Love this kind of stories as well they can always make a bad day!! This is the second story i read from the author and i have to say that i really like her style even for a quick read it's been done a great job.
Both characters Brandon and Chelsea have a great chemistry and created some really hot steamy scenes believe me it is very enjoyable to read, the same goes for the intriguing dialogues and the plot generally.
I certainly recommend it and I'm looking forward to the next story the author will create.

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this book from Lila Younger. Lila is definitely making a name for herself as an author, her books are short but they sure do pack a punch whether it's an office romance or my dad's sexy friend. This book is a quick read and if you're like me and you love a good office romance than you'll love Brandon and Chelsea. Brandon came from a hard working family and he's worked his ass off to make something of himself in the business world. He's focused and he doesn't allow for distractions that is true until he falls for Chelsea, his assistant. Chelsea worked her way through college and she's not quite where she expected to be career wise yet. She's a sweet, beautiful woman and she's secretly crushing on her boss Brandon but she's trying very hard to ignore her feelings. Hiding their feelings for each other works for a while until a bad storm hits and there's a power outage.

Chelsea has been Brandon's PA for over a year. A college graduate with a degree that hasn't really been of much use to her in the real world. She has plans of maybe being a writer or a journalist, but as of now she is making good money as a PA. She has harbored secret feelings for her boss, but knows how inappropriate that kind of relationship would be.
After a late work night and a broken down elevator, they will realize they are both attracted to each other. Something Brandon will try to avoid, until he realizes he could lose Chelsea.

If you are looking for another author to add to your list of sweet, quick, dirty and to the point, then you need to check out Lila Younger. This steamy office romance is sure to satisfy any readers smutty cravings.
Brandon is your typical exec hero that has always been focused on his job but gets knocked on his arse by his assistant. While I enjoyed most of his qualities of an alpha male, he frustrated me slightly in the beginning of this novella when he worked Chelsea up and then walked away as if it meant nothing. He did make up for later when he couldn’t keep his hands off her. And when the chips were down, he wasn’t afraid to wear his heart on his sleeve for his girl.
Chelsea’s awkwardness at the beginning of this book was endearing. Her sweet nature was a great compliment to Brandon’s hardness. But when she let loose, man was she wild. There were moments where I wanted to yell “what are you doing?” but overall I enjoyed her character.
The build-up between these two was great. That push and pull of attraction while trying to maintain professional distance was captured well by Younger. And when these two just could no longer deny what was between them, it was explosively hot.
Steph, Chelsea’s best friend, was also a crack-up.
As this book is a novella, it is quick and dirty. Lila Younger does a great job at keeping pace and giving a story that can be read in under an hour. A fun read that will take your mind off things and escape inside a story. Can’t wait to see what’s next from Lila.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! It was a good combination of sexy and sweet. Chelsea has lusted over her boss since she started working for him a year ago. Her lust runs so deep that she is unable to date other guys without comparing them to Brandon her boss.
Brandon has had feelings for Chelsea since she started working for him. He is a workaholic and is up for a promotion for CEO, this is something he has been working years for and he knows that if he gets involved with his assistant his job could be in jeopardy.
One night after working late Brandon and Chelsea get trapped in the elevator when it stalls and pitches them into complete darkness. Chelsea is afraid of the dark and while Brandon is trying to comfort her the two learn that the feelings that they have for each other are reciprocated. But when the lights come back on Brandon panicks and shuts down. Chelsea thought this was the beginning of a new relationship and is devastated when Brandon turns her down.
What will happen between the two when they still have to see each other everyday at work? Will Brandon come to his senses and realize there is more to life than work or will Chelsea get tired of waiting and move on?
While this book is a quick read the characters are amazing and well developed. The book is well written and very enjoyable is is definitely worth a read. This is the second book that I have read from Lila Younger and I have loved both. I can't wait to read what she writes Next!

I love the whole story line of boss/PA. He wants her but knows it would be a bad move, she wants him but doesn't think he sees her like that. Throw in a nosey best friend to get the ball rolling and you are in for a treat. Hot and sexy!

Good book, did not like it as much as her others that I have read but still pretty good. Over all, I think Lila is an excellent author, I'm definitely a fan and always look forward to reading her books.
Chelsea has been crushing on her boss, Brandon ever since she started working as his PA but has made sure he does not know. Then her friend, Steph arranges for them to run into him one evening outside of work and Brandon figures out that Chelsea likes him. He is attracted to Chelsea but values his job too much to act on it. Everything changes when they get trapped in an elevator during a storm. But the next day at work, Brandon tells Chelsea that it was a mistake to make out in the elevator and it will never happen again. Chelsea is devastated but decides to move on but when Brandon overhears her making plans for a date, it is too much for him and he makes a move on Chelsea. Is he serious this time, or just messing with Chelsea? Will Chelsea give him a second chance?

Talk about embarrassing! Then, Chelsea and Brandon end up stuck in an elevator after work during a storm and things heat up fast. Now Brandon and Chelsea are trying to balance a red hot affair with the job. This is a sweet story with sex, love, and tough decisions when things take an unexpected turn. Excellent romance!!

All Work, Some Play
Chelsea and Brandon work together, so romance is taboo. There's an age gap, too, to add an additional layer of complication. Some steam, but not as much as similar titles; but this story adds a handful more heart than most, so it all balances out.

Lila! I am really starting to enjoy your work! Boss of Me is another great read by Lila Younger! It is a standalone with some good twist in it. It is also a very quick read. The main characters Chelsea and Brandon are a great combination. They start their romance ogling from afar wanting more but neither one is willing to. Brandon is Chelsea’s hot boss and she doesn’t want to cause problems at work because she enjoys her job. Their relationship will never be the same after getting stuck in an elevator together.The book is well written and it allowed me to flip the pages like crazy! Over all the book is a must read and I can’t wait to read Lila’s next one!

Was just ok...
Was just ok,kinda sweet but I didn't feel the chemistry,and I don't get off on watching/reading touching themselves either when they're alone and horny or because I guy tells them to.... Sorry,just soo sick of seeing that in almost every book I read of late.... Chelsea was a bit random,desperate to have Brandon one minute and then next just as easily dropping him, got say I'm also sick or reading about women who driving themselves crazy over a guy but then once they get him would rather dump him or ignore him than asking him simple questions,will do anything he say do sexually and loves to be commanded about,but when rushing off to see sick Mom wouldn't ask him to come w/ and when you find out she's really really sick and needs you your 1st thought is to dump him w/out even telling him what's wrong ?
Story is kinda sweet but lacks any real depth or character..

Fun and quick read. I enjoyed the Boss of Me by Lila Younger. Brandon has dedicated himself to his career and the company he works for. He is good at what he does and won't let anyone or anything distract him from his goal of CEO, until Chelsea is hired as his PA. Chelsea and Brandon both try to hide their attraction to one another, but one late night at the office and the temptation is too strong to deny. I did feel like the - getting to know each other - scene could have been longer. I know it was a short story, but I would have liked to have a little more background on Brandon. All in all a fun read and sweet ending.

I loved this book, it was so sweet, and a great story about an office romance. I loved Chelsea and I like the does he like me or not and I love Brandon he sounded sexy and smart and so caring. The chemistry between the characters was fantastic and you just wanted the whole happy ending for both of them.
If you want a really fantastic short read and gets all the emotions going then this a book for you.
I have read all of Lila Younger books and I love the way she packs so much into these stories and makes you feel.
Can't wait for her next book

Sweet book
This was a good short story to read. I liked the characters. I liked this part:
I can’t imagine being without anymore. He gives me a tender smile, and my knees start to wobble. I feel like I’m falling in love with him all over again. Everyone tells me that that stage ends, the one where you’re lovestruck and goofy whenever you catch sight of your man, but I’m still waiting for that to happen to Brandon and I.
I hope to read more from this author.

A really good book. Brandon realizes he's put his life on hold in order to climb the ladder of success . As we all know it's lonely at the top by yourself. He noticed how beautiful his PA was from the moment he saw her. She has been with the company for a year and when their leaving together during a storm the elevator breaks down. Then the sparks fly... so to speak. Very sweet romance.

I loved Boss Of Me! It's about Chelsea and her boss Brandon who's a total fox. I love the build up of their relationship, the sexual tension and when they do come together it's off the charts hot. Brandon is sexy and sweet. This is a short, enjoyable book that had me smiling and swooning throughout. I love everything about this book, especially the ending. It's also a safe read meaning no cheating, no other woman/man drama and ends in a HEA.
