Amazing series

Wow! What an amazing series and to have all five novels in one boxset is such a brilliant idea. ‘The Complete Explosive Series’ by Tessa Teevan is a 5 star read and would urge you to read it.
I know five books might seem like a lot to get through but once you start reading the first one you won’t want to stop until you have read them all. That fact alone is testament to the kind of talented writer that Tessa Teevan is.
From the first to the last page of the complete series you are enthralled in the lives of the characters and I for one loved it. You can’t help but get caught up in the back and forth between characters, the banter, the romance and also the light heartedness of bits. With young love, second chance romance, the noncommittal arrogant one and friends to lovers being but just some of the tropes covered in this boxset you will be hard pushed not to find something you will love.
There is also a whole gamut of emotions that you will face that have you up and down but well worth it. I will not go through each book individually but will say that the couples and characters are hard not to love. I will post individual reviews for each book separately but recommend that you read them all in this boxset. I know I will absolutely be looking into more from Tessa Teevan and can’t wait to get stuck into her other works.
Please just go ahead and read, you wont be disappointed.

Explosive!!!
A series I could not put down! Couples you will absolutely fall in love with and stories that have you anxiously turning the pages to. From tears to flat out laughing in some parts this series had it all. And to have all five books out is freaking awesome. They are stories you could relate to. Tessa was a new author for me and she’s on my go to now.

This story caused many tears to fall -- both happy and sad -- and gave me a sense of what real love could be like. I loved Jace from the very beginning and though I liked Lexi, I found myself wanting more from her...BUT when she finally gave more, she did it in a BIG way:
“I’d rather give my whole self to you for as long as I can. I’d say you’re worth the risk, but I don’t see it as risky. It's living, it’s loving, and I’m going to do both, because, Jace McAllister, i love you.”

Charlie and Knox’s story knocked me off my seat. It started out crazy - she saw him in a bar and actually wanted more from him just based on his looks, but when he turned her down, she thought he was just an @$$. The next day she turns up as his volunteer thru a veterans program to help take care of him and his injuries he sustained in a bomb blast while overseas. This interaction is top-notch!
There are several samples of the simple humor found mixed with their story. This is just one of my favorite quotes from the book comes when she has to help him get in the shower and she’s making her way out of the bathroom because:
...if I see any more of his naked skin, ,I’m going to go all Katniss on him and start screaming “I volunteer!” when he decides he needs his back washed.
Or her comparison of him with fictional characters:
If Knox was a Disney character, he’d definitely be Flynn Ryder because he definitely has the smolder down.
It isn’t all hearts and flowers and it isn’t easy, but they way it all plays out made me thankful for their story and that Ms Teevan shared it with us.

I love this series….like love everything about it and it’s even better having started at the end and worked my way back to the first book and now reading them in order. Ms Teevan just makes my heart all aflutter with happiness and dread and joy and sorrow and does it so smoothly that I can’t help but keep reading and loving her characters.
The story starts with Kale & Lucy knowing that she’s pregnant,but Lucy deciding she needs time to adapt and then the story goes to the beginning of their relationship - which was strictly (supposed to be) friends with benefits.
And then when the story picks back up with the present and Kale is hiding things from Lucy it’s so heartbreaking because you come to expect the worst with secrets.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her first encounter with his family. It was so well written that I was a smiling fool the whole time I was reading it!!! It was comical and heartwarming to see Kale, his mom and sisters inviting Lucy in and welcoming her to the family.
Kale & Lucy will always have a soft spot in my heart. Ms Teevan has a way with words that just transports you into the story and keeps you on edge as you read thru the ups and downs of the relationship.

Having really met both Xavier and Kalli in Kale’s story, Inflame, I was eager to see where their relationship would go. However, watching them struggle through their feelings -- and blaming a lot of it on Lily -- made me crazy!
BUT when she struggled to remember her first kiss, his response was the best response from a book boyfriend I’ve read yet:
But you’re definitely going to remember mine, and when someone asks you about it, you won’t hesitate. Blush, maybe, but you’ll remember every single detail.”
I enjoyed watching the story go back from their wedding night and then learn how they came to that point. It was fun imagining them telling their friends all about their journey as they were telling each other as well. I loved when Xavier would speak Spanish to Kalli and the way they both used it to get what they wanted. But the sweetest moment in the book was on the way to the chapel and they confessed their readiness for each other. I loved that scene!!

I adored this story!! I loved the way it was told as a flashback. I loved the childhood best friends turned married couple aspect. I enjoyed the glimpses into other books. It was such an enjoyable read I had a very hard time putting it down!!!
Jeremy and Sierra met on the beach when they were 8 years old. This story is the retelling of their lives and how they got to the point of telling their 6 year old daughter were babies come from. I laughed, I cried and I just thoroughly enjoyed this story!! It wasn’t perfect, but it was so realistic I wanted to be Sierra and have all of Jeremy’s love for myself! Wonderful, wonderful story that I can’t wait to continue with the other books.
I read because I want to get lost in a world of love and romance. In a world where the good guys win and the love story rocks. Ms Teevan did just that with this story!!! I haven’t read anything else by her, but after this I can’t wait to go start the entire series from the beginning!!!
I’m so sad to be finished with this series and only hope that these characters will pop up in an anthology someday or that maybe they’ll get something special for a holiday. Ms Teevan does a great job of storytelling and I can’t wait to read more from her!!!

Every single one of their stories is amazing. They all find their way in their relationship. They suffer lose and find a great deal of love. Being friends and becoming more is amazing. Loved all their journeys.

Where do I even start with my review? The entire series was one addictive, fun, crazy, wild ride! I loved it from start to finish! Tessa is the master of keeping you intrigued from start to finish!
When I signed up to review not one, not two, but FIVE books, I knew it would take a truly talented author to keep me hooked and interested for the entire series, and I am pleased to say, Tessa is that author! I can't even remember how many late nights were spent glued to my Kindle screen, wishing the cord was just a few inches longer so I could be comfortable while I read all night long. I should probably send Tessa a bill for all the coffee I had to consume to make it through the work day...
Sometimes, you are just in the mood for a good, fun loving romance. A good push and pull between the Hero and heroine. The entire series has delivered just that. I can seriously enjoy a really fun, over the top, dramatic romance; but sometimes I am in the mood to just fall in love with characters, getting lost in their stories. No eye rolling, no crazy drama. While reading this series, I kept wanting to pick my favorite couple, but I couldn't do it! I loved them all, and they all stole my heart for different reasons.
From the first words of Ignite, I was scared to death about what I was reading! Never, not once, have I shed tears in the first chapter, but I found myself fighting against just that. As the story progressed, I was GLUED to my Kindle! My heart broke in places, but the love I felt between Lexi and Jace was enough to warm my heart. Theirs was a sweet, innocent love that grew out of a childhood love that was anything but childish. Years apart could not distinguish the flames and true love they shared.
Charlie and Knox were up next. While Jace warmed my heart with his openness, Knox was closed off and surly to the core. I was such a sucker for the surly jerk! It was fun to watch as they grew together, but the sparks and friction between the two made this book yet another all-nighter read! Charlie has a heart of gold, and her strength and determination inspired me.
And... then we have Kale and Lucy. I don't know why people always think friends with benefits will work, because it won't, and these two are no exception! I loved watching the back and forth between the two. Kale does a body good? I was laughing so hard at his humor! And Lucy, underneath all the hard walls she's constructed, lies a vulnerable, loving woman. I loved watching Kale draw her out of her shell!
Perhaps my favorite couple (at least, today) is Kalli and Xavier from Intoxicate. Xavier has had to be strong for the past decade, being a single military dad. His strength and devotion to his daughter is swoonworthy! And Kalli, god, my heart hurt for her so many times! Her strength, her love for Lily and Xavier is awe-inspiring!
We got to know Jeremy and Sierra and their adorable spawn, Ava, in Ignite. But how did they begin? I loved being able to dive in to their history as Fusion delves into hilarious recount of their past!
Overall, I LOVED this series, and I am definitely going to be reading more from Tessa!

Charlie and Knox were up next. While Jace warmed my heart with his openness, Knox was closed off and surly to the core. I was such a sucker for the surly jerk! It was fun to watch as they grew together, but the sparks and friction between the two made this book yet another all-nighter read! Charlie has a heart of gold, and her strength and determination inspired me.
And... then we have Kale and Lucy. I don't know why people always think friends with benefits will work, because it won't, and these two are no exception! I loved watching the back and forth between the two. Kale does a body good? I was laughing so hard at his humor! And Lucy, underneath all the hard walls she's constructed, lies a vulnerable, loving woman. I loved watching Kale draw her out of her shell!
Perhaps my favorite couple (at least, today) is Kalli and Xavier from Intoxicate. Xavier has had to be strong for the past decade, being a single military dad. His strength and devotion to his daughter is swoonworthy! And Kalli, god, my heart hurt for her so many times! Her strength, her love for Lily and Xavier is awe-inspiring!
We got to know Jeremy and Sierra and their adorable spawn, Ava, in Ignite. But how did they begin? I loved being able to dive in to their history as Fusion delves into hilarious recount of their past!
Overall, I LOVED this series, and I am definitely going to be reading more from Tessa!
When I signed up to review not one, not two, but FIVE books, I knew it would take a truly talented author to keep me hooked and interested for the entire series, and I am pleased to say, Tessa is that author! I can't even remember how many late nights were spent glued to my Kindle screen, wishing the cord was just a few inches longer so I could be comfortable while I read all night long. I should probably send Tessa a bill for all the coffee I had to consume to make it through the work day...
Sometimes, you are just in the mood for a good, fun loving romance. A good push and pull between the Hero and heroine. The entire series has delivered just that. I can seriously enjoy a really fun, over the top, dramatic romance; but sometimes I am in the mood to just fall in love with characters, getting lost in their stories. No eye rolling, no crazy drama. While reading this series, I kept wanting to pick my favorite couple, but I couldn't do it! I loved them all, and they all stole my heart for different reasons.

Wow! What an amazing series and to have all five novels in one boxset is such a brilliant idea. ‘The Complete Explosive Series’ by Tessa Teevan is a 5 star read and would urge you to read it.
I know five books might seem like a lot to get through but once you start reading the first one you won’t want to stop until you have read them all. That fact alone is testament to the kind of talented writer that Tessa Teevan is.
From the first to the last page of the complete series you are enthralled in the lives of the characters and I for one loved it. You can’t help but get caught up in the back and forth between characters, the banter, the romance and also the light heartedness of bits. With young love, second chance romance, the noncommittal arrogant one and friends to lovers being but just some of the tropes covered in this boxset you will be hard pushed not to find something you will love.
There is also a whole gamut of emotions that you will face that have you up and down but well worth it. I will not go through each book individually but will say that the couples and characters are hard not to love. I will post individual reviews for each book separately but recommend that you read them all in this boxset. I know I will absolutely be looking into more from Tessa Teevan and can’t wait to get stuck into her other works.
Please just go ahead and read, you wont be disappointed.

Tessa has written and incredible series that is a collection of love stories that will have you laughing and crying and most definitely swooning. Each couple has a unique story of how they meet and fall for each other, yet are interconnected through being a group of friends. I loved that each story included the same circle of friends that really are a tight group. My favorite stories were Kale and Lucy's, a friends with benefits arrangement that becomes so much more, and Xavier and Kallie's story, a marriage of convenience that grows into something so lovely. I enjoyed every story in the series.

This series has always been close to my heart!!
Each and every character has their own way of bringing every one of these stories to life.
From the first page of Ignite, and until the last page of Fusion, you are immersed into the wonderful world that Tessa Teevan has created for us.
You have stories of family and friends that intertwine within each other.
You have past demons that will bring you to tears.
You are shown how love CAN conquer all..Even to the tough guys who didn't believe it;)
But most of all, you are given wonderful entertainment within the pages of the Explosive Series!
I hope everyone enjoys these stories as much as I have!!

OMG!! I fell in love with Tessa's books. She did awesome job with developing each of the characters. From the first book Ingite to the last one Fusion I was hooked even more with every page I read. I loved reading about Alex and Jace, Knox and Charlie, Kale and Lucy, Xavier and Kalli, and Sierra & Jeremy. I can't wait to read more about them and any other team mates. Keep up the awesome work. I fell in love with Tessa's books. She did awesome job with developing each of the characters. From the first book Ingite to the last one Fusion I was hooked even more with every page I read. This is a great series! All five books are emotionally-charged with lots of angst and sexy times. There are a variety of tropes throughout the series, so lots of variety. The characters are well-developed and likable. Lots of feels here, folks! My favorite was Intoxicate!

Wow! That was a long series to get through, but completely worth it. I really loved every one of the books. They were fun, sexy, and engaging storylines, with amazing characters. I was sucked in to each one and couldn't read them fast enough. I definitely recommend this set.
