They were the Children of the Lion, marked by the sign that ws their birthright and their curse. To them belonged the secret skill that could half the fearsome desert warriors advancing inexorably toward the green oasis of the Nile. To them belonged the special destiny that led wherever the fiercest battle raged. Now, in the pharaohs' ancient land, the men found their courage to put to the final test - as treachery threatened to deliver them into the hands of their enemies. The women, beautiful and bold, risked the virtue and their life to fight beside the men they loved. In their hands gleamed a conqueror's sword...in their hearts blazed a legendary passion...in their fate lay the history of mankind.
A great story in one of the very best series I have ever read. Good historical and biblical research and a feeling for the times make all of this series exceptional. Bravo!
Another excellent entry in the Children Of The Lion series. These books are hard to put down and I am always eagerly looking forward to the next one in the series.
I am enjoying this entire series. Volume 5 was a little disappointing. I can't wait to find out how Joseph in Egypt handles things. This IS fiction, but it makes Bible characters and the time they lived in, very clear.
